I think 240 watts into an earbud would be quite an experience. I could see making over the ears with some form fitted EDLCs being possible and charging in seconds would be possible.
@@queazocotal I could imagine ones powered by like a supercap rather than a battery having pretty crazy rates but also low delivered energy charge times. Think pulsed laser type situations where you get 10 petawatts for 25 femtoseconds

May i suggest you test movespeed powerbanks? I've seen some of them but not in technical details, and almost non existent reviews on YT
Your timing for me is always hilarious. I just bought this Iniu a few days ago. I have the Anker 737 but for a new need the square size of the 737 didn't work but the Inius flatter design worked great. I only got it for the capacity and only charge 65w items (ROG Ally) I wish Anker would go back to a flatter design
picked up one of the newer smaller iniu 20k 65w banks for review. it also takes a weirdly long amount of time to stop charging at 100%. Does do its job tho for keeping my phone charged for longer outings. A lot of power banks with % displays are kinda iffy tho... which sucks when they die at like 20%. Not great when you need it!
Very interesting comparison. I own the INIU personally, and i find the display to be pretty accurate. This is coming from someone who's owned like 15 other INIU power banks including the 25,000mAh 100w one and many others. The only thing i don't like about it is the size. It is rather huge for a 27,000mAh power bank. Especially once you put it against the 25,000 version. As far as power output goes i never really tend to use more then 65 or 100w out of these at most as i have nothing that can take advantage of the 140w output. It is definitely disappointing to see that it wasn't able to even do 135w for a few seconds though but it's also possible that you could've gotten a defective unit based on how inaccurate you mentioned your display is as i definitely didn't experience that with my unit. I'd really be interested in your opinion about the P50-E1 from them. I recently got one after seeing how tiny it was and man is it incredibly small. Smallest 10,000mAh power bank I've ever seen and man have i seen and owned many. Moreover it claims to support Samsung's 45w super fast charging 2.0 protocol and based on my testing it's actually able to deliver this power for a very usable amount of time. It recharged my S20 ultra from flat with consist power levels and didn't get very warm especially given it's tiny size. Either way, great video. I really enjoy these.
Well you just know I'm gutted as I have two of the inui chargers. At least I got them at good cheap prices. I have been waiting for this particular video so a big thank you for that.
@@AllThingsOnePlace It really sucks that the quality between products even from a brand with a previous winner varies so much. I loved the paw on the oId Iniu . Hi would you take a look at v mount batteries with usb ports? E.g. the ones from Smallrig etc. Curious if they hold up vs the consumer brands given they’re meant for production use (the assumption being they should be more robust, reliable, performant?). They also often come with claims they use “grade A” cells in the marketing claims. Thank you!
😢I'm so sorry this clip didn't come out 2 months earlier. I managed to buy that inium b64 and yes it has problems with the correct display and that stuttering but instead I managed to get it to put out 142w.
Well that went off to a great start 😬 Jokes aside...do you think we shall see stricter regulations on power banks on airplanes? 2 already caught on fire mainly in Korea.
I always wondered why there are almost no power bank with an integrated wall plug! Would it take much different AC-DC components or do they just avoid it to prevent another source of failure?
There are reasons, heat management is one, a USB power brick can be 100C inside and it's not too much of a problem, a power bank battery would not be happy in that situation. So, when they do exist they're often lower wattage devices.
would you PLEASE do the iniu Cougar P63-E1? I would really appreciate it since im looing into buying it but it seems too good to be true for its size. Also, do you think that iniu has won its spot in the power bank space, or is it still far off?
I bought a funky Remax 140W RRP662, OEM product. Some non-systematic testing (unlike yours) reveal around 84Wh or less as the final output. It can also do at least 100W/100W passthrough which is insane.
Any chance you could test the Anker Solix C200? At the $100 sale price the capacity and power output seems very good, but I wonder about efficiency and how much the screen and bluetooth drains.
Surprising to see that Iniu 25 000 mAh 100w was so good, but this one is so disappointing. I bought the one with 100w thanks to your review and I am very happy with it.
Yeah, I put in a request to Siglent, it's not covered (it's very much under warrantee, but technically it still works so it's on me to replace it) and only they can do the replacement, and they have to send me a quote to replace it, which I don't have yet. Of course they won't sell me the screen module and if I mess with it myself it's then voided warrantee. I can't afford Keysight, Yokogawa or Chroma gear.
So What would you recommend as a 20k powerbank that can charge a laptop at 100W? I currently have the iniu BI-B5 and its good for basic use but cant charge a laptop
At 20k I don't think I've tested one that can hold that power level. I think you need a bit of a bigger battery, the 737 can do it. The Iniu in this video could handle a 100 watt laptop, it's just right on the edge.
I guess ugreen seems to be the product where everything you buy has been good so far. ive spent 350 overall on cables, power banks hdmi cables etc.. that is a shame though wanted to try inui though. Baseus is next on my list
I wish there were some lower cost units with displays that show what the unit is outputting. (Doesn't need to be fast or have great capacity). That would be super helpful for charging some of the security cameras around my friend's place as they seem super fussy about when they charge (I haven't found any rhyme or reason -- some like cable X, some Y, etc.). My anker 737 is great for that but I don't want to buy more 😅 I guess I could see about getting a few USB-A meters really cheap? Don't have to be super accurate...
@@AxisImagery Yeah, it is a big power bank. This is why I carry the 15K Iniu, good capacity smaller size, generally good performance but yeah no 100W capability. I need to check out more 20k-25k power banks.
I'm pretty sure you got a lemon. I have an Iniu BI-B64 and it works great. Plug in a 65W charger, it shows charging at 65W. Same with 100W. Mine slows charging as it fills up, as it should. I have a device that only draws 100W, so I wasn't able to test it at 140W initially. I found someone with a MacBook and tested it there and it showed it was providing 130-something watts. I'd return yours and get a replacement.
The B64 is their old model, the P64 is smaller (in capacity) but also supposedly significantly smaller in size (for a 2000mAh penalty). Rather confusingly, on Amazon, they don't have a separate listing for it, it's just buried in their B64 listing as the "Small Size" version. I believe their P models are their more compact but higher end models, so maybe better electronics/efficiency too? Would be curious what you think of the P63 as well, it is also buried in the B63 listing, but "mini size". Same advertised capacity and output.
I’m astounded by the striking resemblance between the AMECAT powerbank and the Promate Titan 160w powerbank I own. The only distinguishing features are the logos and packaging, and the product itself appears identical.

Very disappointing show from Iniu. Baseus left me scarred for life on their power banks. I wish there was a decent one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg like the Anker ones. Keep it up!
I'd save that money. Doesn't act like a defective piece of tech, just a poorly engineered one. I guess they spent all the budget to put 140W on the box and skimped on the ICs.
Wow big blow to INIU on that one. Hopefully there is some way they can fix that by pulling stock and updating with new firmware. Always appreciate your truly detailed and heavily engineering-focused data-driven reviews
Nice review, thank you. I was about to buy this exact Amegat powerbank a few months ago. Glad I did not. Which power bank do you recommend? I have laptop that has a fairly big battery (MBP 16) and I want a power bank that can fully or nearly fully charge my Mac. Charging speed is not the most important feature, I can easily accept a power bank which can charge up to 60-70W. Capacity is more important for me. Could you recommend any decent power banks? Thank you.
Yeah, the battery in that is 100wh essentially, so any power bank is not quite going to be able to fully charge it if it's at or under the limit for airplanes. But you should be able to get like 90% battery or so from a larger power bank. The 250W Anker delivers a lot of energy for the size of the power bank. For a 'plane ready' power bank it's the best capacity one I've tested. It can handle 140W charging and discharging too. I haven't tested many in that size range yet though.
Appreciate the honest reviews on these.
Guess we'll both keep looking for the perfect ~100W Powerbank...
Yeah, if it says 140 on the box... if they called it 100W I wouldn't been like wow it's not bad, ha.
'for earbud charging, it's fine' I now want to see earbuds that will charge at 240W.
The powerbank has a low power mode, obviously it won’t charge at 240w
@@alejoblogs2088 I am quite aware. Earbuds that charge in five seconds (in their case) at 240W amuse though.

Ankers usually use high quality Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo, or LG cells... besides the cheap ones that use pouch cells. So thats pretty cool!!

At this power level pouch cells are probably better.given that they have lower internal resistance and hitting 140W requires ~38A.
