For me, the solution was to install the Sony app on the smartphone and use their Connect assistant. After that, it worked well on the laptop.

Thanks bro you save my wallet. been with this buds since release and never happened to me before, just yesterday I wanted to give the foam tips a good clean up and today it started with this problem and I was like I fucked up water got into one of the buds and now i have to buy new ones.
