What about the call quality and microphone? LC3 is supposed to work there too.

Hi Aaron and thanks for looking into this new BT standard codec! Windows 11 have official support for LC3 since May -23, could you please test the XM5 with LC3 on Windows 11 with a compatible dongle? Just to see if it finally works, how much better the latency is and if it sounds better than the built in SBC/AAC? Many thanks for diving into this subject.

I don’t have any problems with my xm5s anymore thanks to me losing them a month or so ago. 2nd pair in quick succession I’ve lost so I’ll use loudspeakers from now on. Surely I can’t lose them right?
Hi, i love your analysis type videos and i'm currently stuck between two earbuds, both of which I am seriously debating on getting or not. It's the Jabra Elite 10 and the Airpods Pro 2. I am truly stuck between these two. Can you make a video on it please. I know I'm asking for a lot and you could not read this at all. But please make a comparison video on those two!
Love them equally, but if have devices on multiple platforms, buy JE. Do note that Je is a little bit more comfy because u don’t feel the pressure effect of having anc on without music.

Hey there! I was wondering if you have any updates on using spatial audio for the WF-1000XM5 in other devices such as samsung phones. I recently bought a pair and i was really hoping to use the spatial audio, but i cant seem to find any options for such. P.S my phone is a galaxy note 10 lite and a friend's galaxy buds spatial audio worked completely fine.
I don't see this as a problem. This still quite a new codec and some buds will never get access to it. I think a bigger problem is wireless buds only coming with sbc and aac codecs. I do want to get some XM5's soon but I am happy with my XM4's right now.
Which is an all-rounder tws you can suggest me to buy?

Yes the difference between codecs is so subtle, can be challenging to hear.

@@Michael-ru2vo yes I bought them they are amazing comfortable the sound is great the anc just lowers the people's voice , you can still hear them but not as loud as before the case and earbuds are very durable the app is amazing I have no complaints If I want to change something is the ear tips don't get me wrong they are comfortable but it collects so much earwax so you have to clean your ears from time to time that's my opinion for the jabra elite 10 and yes they are worth your money but wait till it get a discount I got them for 200 euros
I listened to the sound sample by using JBL TOUR PRO + TWS & in here LDAC has the best quality.
i have a Motorola Razr 2023 and a pair of Soundpeats Air4 Pro...and they keep defaulting to the LC3 codec over Snapdragon Sound with AptX Lossless. It's annoying as shit!

Wf-1000xm5 turn on by themselves in a closed box in your pocket. Additionally, draining batteries. Do you have that too??

This was happening to me because the pins in the case and on earbuds needed cleaning. Cleaned and the problem cleared up.

Erm…. Multipoint is a Bluetooth technology therefore of course it is not available under LE connection
That is not Sony problem but LE technology simply not that developed yet
I can definitely hear some air in ldac easily superior and clearer than others
What about battery drain? LDAC is way better in terms of sound quality.

LC3 is just a licensed mess to replace SBC. Getting off the propriotery train is the best cource of action, OPUS should be default.

People misunderstand Sony. Their earbuds are geared towards noise cancelling, not audio. If you want the best audio for the price get Sennheiser
Avoid these headphones. They only have problems and nothing else to offer...
