I found this video very crucial and important. I'm not a Muslim myself, but I'm living in a town where the Muslim community is slightly growing and being recognised. Some of my friends are Muslim and I'm acquiring some knowledge about their faith through your channel. My parents are really close-minded and I have been dropping quite a few (positive) comments on Islam from time to time to let them understand my Muslim friends are no different than my Christian friends from a moral point of view. I'll surely keep doing it so that my family can gain more knowledge about this faith. Thanks a lot for this video and greetings from Italy!

Hi, may I ask on which town that is? I'm currently planning on studying in Italy, but I'm still uncertain mainly bcz of this issue. How do they viewed muslims there? Also is there any muslim in the community that are native italian(not immigrant)?

@@as-wr1bt Hello. I actually come from a very small town close to the countryside where there was a handful of Muslim people (literally a handful). I won't say the name because that's the last town you should pick to pursue higher education due to lack of schools in the area. I'm currently living in Bari to study at university and I must say the Muslim community here is more intact and compact. Youngsters tend not to be racist towards religions different than Christianity; what's prevalent is a general ignorance. The main racism comes from older generations that see Islam as a threat. You may face discrimination in Italy, but considering you will be in a bigger and educational environment, you can make it through.

@@as-wr1bt Italy's main religion is Catholicism. The majority of Muslims either migrated from their native countries or took up their (immigrant) parents' religion while being born and raised in Italy.

Cutting off from your family is not a good idea, sons of Sohail Ibn Amr, Abu Jandal and Abdullah became Muslims but Sohail Ibn Amr wasn’t a muslim until Prophet’s return to Makkah, both sons didn’t give up on their father always respected him.

I'm a muslin in secret. Because last time when I was 12 years old. My mum got mad at me for wearing a hajaba. Its soo hard to wearing it too. While living with them. I'm muslin right now. I didn't tell my Christian mum.... My mum was kinda upset too. I don't wear my Hajabs at church or in front of her. I do go to church with her. I'm Islam that goes to Christian church. I'm scared to tell my mum. Last time she got upset😭😭😭😭. I hate living with my Christian mum and family. I'm a muslin in secret. But cannot wear my Hajabs. I'm 20 years old right now. And is female😭😥😥. And I am gonna wait a little bit longer to say to my mum that I'm Muslim😇😭😭. And I also weared black hajaba at school. Most people didn't get along with me. Because I was wearing a Hajabs. I'm still wearing one right now😇💜💙. I decided to become a Muslim because being a Christian was too much for me to handle😭😭. A lot of BAD things happened for the past few years before I secretly became Muslim. I wonder how would my Christian mum would react if I say that I'm Muslim right now. I think my mum would get upset because I have been secretly a Muslim since at the age of 12. HELP. I'm scares😦😦😦

I am in the same situation. My mom got angry at me last year after I told her I did not want to go to church anymore, I still go to church just because I don't want to make my mom angry. I also live a secret muslim life and I wear my hijab at school and other places 8 go to where no one knows my family and I, it's very hard 😢😢😢 but Alhamdulillah Allah kept me strong for the past 2 years . Allah hears all duas we make and inShaAllah Allah will make a way for you to tell your parents in a more peaceful manner.

Great video 🥰 I teach my mom little things about Islam and read to her a few chapters of the Quran. I still get a lot of backlash from her. Mostly annoying things from my aunt and my aunts daughter sending me bible quotes text messages about Christianity. My cousins husband said something to me the other day. He said I can’t back a religion that says you can’t be friends with Jews or Christians. I replied to him saying I know what your referring to because I read this in the Quran but what it is saying is the Jews will not be your friend unless your Jewish and the Christians won’t be your friend or satisfied till your just like them. I reminded him the time period was a war torn pre Islamic Arabia. Yes it does say do not take Jews or Christians as your friends because they will try to change you and won’t be satisfied till you are just like them. I told him this doesn’t apply to this day in age we are friends with everyone and no one try’s to change anyone’s beliefs. I wish there was something better I could of said to him. I don’t think what I said was enough to change his opinion on the topic or see it differently just a little.

You are misunderstanding the verse sister, the verse you referring to لا تتذخوا اليهود والنصارى اولياء
Do not take Christians and Jews as your alwiya'aa
Alwiyaa is plural of Wali'ee means here as superior in guidance and direction, the Jews and Christians during the time of thw prophet had many wrong beliefs about God and many rituals/practices that God was not pleased with such as not giving inheritance to women, not allowing women to seek education and knowledge and no role for her in their community. Also today's time Christians are anti Hijab which is the modest clothing of Virgin Mary may God be pleased with her and her Son Jesus peace upon him.

The prophet said: He who harms a peaceful/contracted non‐Muslim Harms me; and he who Harms me Harms Allah.” [al‐Tabarani, with a chain that is sound/hassan)
In Quran we must be very kind with non muslims, and it is ok to be friend, but without taking them idols or do what they do against our religion, like christmas celebration...etc
In the time of prophet, jews at first violated the treaty with the prophet and allied with the polytheists to besiege the Muslims and eliminate them .. and that was different situation, but in Quran, when muslim kills innocent non muslim or muslim, as he kills all people on the earth, and the punishment will be same . That is our relationship with non muslims .. that is my knowledge and Allah knows better

Hold tightly onto your faith and Allah SWT, it will be 100% worth it. Your situation is your test of this life. Some people live in Muslim countries but they experience war, bombings, starvation. Some people are born in countries that are mostly free of this, but cannot practice Islam freely. Both are going through their own tests, and if they struggle and pass this test, Allah will give them a huge reward one day, insha’Allah! I’m also a revert and I also used to be an atheist. I live in Serbia, ppl hate Muslims here too, sadly. It’s out of ignorance and being brainwashed. May Allah strengthen our faith and make it easy for us and all reverts!

May the creator of Jesus and the God whom Jesus, peace and blessing upon him, worshiped open your heart and cleanse your soul from the worship of human beings to the worship of the one almighty creator the God of Moses, Jesus and Abraham.
We bear witness that there is no God except one almighty God, and that Muhammad and Jesus are the messengers of God.
