    Hi,
This is very useful information, thanx for the same. But can we schedule some images that can be run or popup automatically on specified day and time?
    your reply is highly appreciated
    Thanks

Doesnt work. shell:startup command doesnt work. It says it cant find anything

That's why you have to move things into the startup folder for them to work

When I open shell:startup it says there's nothing in the folder, but when I log in to windows I see CMD windows opening & closing. Where else is this crap hiding in my computer!

Hi Noe, not sure I understand the question. Let me know what you are trying to do and hopefully I can help.

@@Computroon I want the pc to bootup to a splashscreen (pic/jpg/png) and then from there launch an .exe program. It is for a kiosk demo and I dont' want the windows desktop screen to show at all when we turn on pc.

Ah, great question. First thing I'd suggest is to have the system boot and launch a Powerpoint presentation. However, save the Powerpoint as a Powerpoint Show (this will run to full screen). It used to be called .pps but now when you go for File / Save as.. look for Powerpoint Show .ppsx .
If you are auto-launching an .exe that will run the kiosk software, you can easily hide all desktop icons and hide the taskbar and set your desktop background to a jpeg that says "loading". To hide icons, right-click blank space on desktop / View / Show desktop icons. To hide taskbar (inc Start Menu) right-click the taskbar and go for Taskbar Settings.
Good luck, let me know if that helps.
