No., the scrren does not go blank. It goes to another screen on which the options are either "Continue" or "Set up Later." "Set up Later" does get rid of it, but for just how long is unclear.

How would you do this but keeping only video files in their dated folders too move them to a new drive I have dated media folders containing both stills and videos I back up the images to the cloud but need my video files on physical storage Any suggestions?

Great. Clear instructions on how to create a NAS drive using the usb port on your router. I couldn't do this before, as I had a Virgin router. Now that I have a 3 router, with a usb port, I'll give it a go. Thanks for sharing.

this is like something most of you already know how to do individually, but never to think to use this way.

What if your files are layers deep in each folder and every folder has different layers of folders. E.g. I have music sorted out by Artist, then album. But sometimes there is an additional folder so the song is actually another layer deep.

This review was going brilliantly well until you mentioned the the bit where we were instructed to go to Brother Support UK , which at the outset seemed like an obvious place to get an update …. But although I directed my request to Brother it ended in the hands of something or somebody called HOWLY,, initially it seemed to the uninitiated that this was a part of ‘Brother’, but far from being the info/support of Brother their modus operandi is that I was they charge £1 for this service and this ‘Service’ resulted in absolutely NOTHING by way of updating my PC, and to compound this within 3 minutes of discontinuing my connection and logging out 2 further transactions both of £46 were processed on the card of course with the details that I had willingly parted with for the £1…. and whilst I will take the matter further with my bank to see if I can get redress but Im disgusted in Brother for promoting this outfit who are evidently conmen in the name of Brother.

So just ignore the folders, and all the files should be in the bottom... right?
