It's been so fun seeing all the "OG" YT beauty YTs pivot as they get older and move into new experiences. I love watching all the YTs I feel like I grew up with really find themselves and their passion outside of YT. No one is ever too old to go back to college. I did the “regular” college, did work, and went back at 29 to become a hygienist. There’s no rule for what life should be! So proud of you finding something you love and fulfilling to you ❤

OMGHHKP - I have missed your videos! I used to watch your videos back in 2009 for makeup tutorials, but I think I love watching you smash your career and education way more! There is part of me that, in hindsight, wishes I had waited to go to university until I knew exactly what I wanted to do and would probably have gotten more value from the experience. However, I recently made a career change in a direction I'm super happy with. You can always learn more, go back to school or make a career change - few choices in life are totally irreversible, and there isn't an age you have to have made all your major life decisions by!

I’m a teacher with a bachelor’s and master’s with no intentions of going back to college but I stayed for the entire video because it’s so cool to see someone I’ve followed since I was 15 and you were 16 come on the internet for the first time in forever to share a life update! I’m so happy that you are happy and I will forever watch your videos that don’t apply to me because, in the same way that watching a favorite tv show can get you through tough times, watching your “what’s in my bag” and makeup tutorial videos got me through tough times (and great times tbh) since 15. Seeing you happy now somehow continues to heal that part of me in the same way that having a new season of your favorite show is comforting. Except like times 10 because your a real person who is actually happy. Congratulations on all of your successes and I’m super excited to catch up even more with future videos!

I started watching you when I was around 11, now I’m 25 and ALSO going back to school as an adult student. This was such a heartwarming video to watch!! I'm also an OG subbie since 2008, and we're the same age. I finished school, went to univeristy, quit, worked, went back to university aged 21 as a "mature student" (UK starts it at 21) then worked, then finally did my Masters in Occupational Therapy at the beginning of Covid - now I'm 2 years into my careers as an Occupational Therapist. I think life has a different path for everyone, no one has to follow the set route. I'm so happy you've found your calling!

I've been watching your videos since 2010. It was a big thing for me to improve my English at the time and all the way from Brazil, I have been here watching us grow together! Since my birthday is 3 days before yours, you are always on my mind at the end of March/beginning of April, and right now I'm 5 years into a remote job that the primary language used is English. So this video really felt like catching up on life lol Thank you for this, for sure it will help adult students or people looking for applying as one! Blair is my entire childhood I grew up watching her and Elle, I'm so glad they are super happy and thriving and they found a path they love and sometimes we get these updates on their lives, is really fulfilling to see them here and there and to know they are doing great. Also Blair I did my master when I was 28 and a lot of people were on the older side, don't be afraid time pass by super fast, highly recommend the experience!
I’ve always been such a big fan of your channel and it’s so great to hear from you here and there since you’ve moved to Nashville. I had a sort of similar experience with being an adult student except I went to college initially but left before I finished, so when I went back years later, of course everything was different and I had to figure all that out. As someone that was homeschooled til the end of high school and didn’t go to college after, it was relieving to hear that it can still happen even with a gap in time. I’m 26 and have considered going to college but it feels so daunting especially since idk what I really wanna do with my life, but mayb one day I’ll finally take the leap. Anyways I remember watching your videos back when you still had your old pink bedroom as a teenager and it’s still nostalgic. And over time seeing how you’re maturing in your content as an adult and us the audience also growing up. 😊

I love your story so much Blair! I have watched your videos since 2008 in high school and uni! i went straight to university for interior design/ architecture from high school and as much as I enjoyed the program and being creative, I learned that I love designing just as a hobby for me and not for clients! I also learned that I hate CADing but love reading already finished plans haha! I took a few detours over the years that weren’t in the design industry thinking I would leave that world behind but recently refound my love for it! Now I work in sales in the flooring industry and I love it as it’s still in the design realm but more up my alley 😊

I don’t think I would’ve envisioned this .. yet, I remember cleaning office buiding in high school and always hoped to have my own desk one day like these folks. Blair is my entire childhood I grew up watching her and Elle, I'm so glad they are super happy and thriving and they found a path they love and sometimes we get these updates on their lives, is really fulfilling to see them here and there and to know they are doing great. Also Blair I did my master when I was 28 and a lot of people were on the older side, don't be afraid time pass by super fast, highly recommend the experience!
I’ve always been such a big fan of your channel and it’s so great to hear from you here and there since you’ve moved to Nashville. You still make excellent content, and it’s cool to see how much you have grown as a human. Thanks for still being willing to share with the OGs. I had a sort of similar experience with being an adult student except I went to college initially but left before I finished, so when I went back years later, of course everything was different and I had to figure all that out. Congrats on all your hard work and accomplishments!!!

This was a great surprise to see you posting again. I really love hearing about your experience and how you found a happier path for your life. As someone that was homeschooled til the end of high school and didn’t go to college after, it was relieving to hear that it can still happen even with a gap in time. I’m 26 and have considered going to college but it feels so daunting especially since idk what I really wanna do with my life, but mayb one day I’ll finally take the leap.
Anyways I remember watching your videos back when you still had your old pink bedroom as a teenager and it’s still nostalgic. And over time seeing how you’re maturing in your content as an adult and us the audience also growing up. 😊

I love your story so much Blair! I have watched your videos since 2008 in high school and uni! i went straight to university for interior design/ architecture from high school and as much as I enjoyed the program and being creative, I learned that I love designing just as a hobby for me and not for clients! I also learned that I hate CADing but love reading already finished plans haha! I took a few detours over the years that weren’t in the design industry thinking I would leave that world behind but recently refound my love for it! Now I work in sales in the flooring industry and I love it as it’s still in the design realm but more up my alley 😊

Interesting enough I needed this video so much, Im turning 25 this year and have delayed university for years after a family tragedy with my brother ... as years went on I just felt so out of the learning loop and that I lost my academic momentum. I doubted my ability to excel in that environment, but have been pondering it more and more recently and this is clearly my reminder I got this! Sending you and your family lots of love

I remember you being nervous for the jump but you needed it ❤ at the time, I was starting to think of a career change and it took quite a few years but I just totally changed from being a hair dresser for over 10 years to being a school secretary and so far I’m loving it. I don’t think I would’ve envisioned this .. yet, I remember cleaning office buiding in high school and always hoped to have my own desk one day like these folks. Funny how life has a way of guiding us where we are meant to be. And.. it always continues to shift and change.
