- This was so fun to film! If you have any splurge beauty products (or budget faves) that you love please let me know! Also, I've never used the UA-cam shopping feature to put product links in. It’s so refreshing to see someone who’s done the whole influencer thing and come out of it and back around to the real world. You were so ahead of your time with the influencer game and where it is now. It’s refreshing to see how you rebuilt your life and have entered the working world. I think so many of us that watched you for years and years grew up to be corporate girlies and it’s so relatable to see someone that’s within your same budget sharing their thoughts, opinions, and likes with you.

Blair, I’ve followed you since around 2007, and I’m so happy for you and all your accomplishments since then. You seem so fulfilled, happy, and even more like-able than you were in your “prime” influencer years. I think conquering your fear and going to college as an older student is the best thing you could’ve done for yourself. This is the first time I am leaving a comment on a UA-cam video, ever, but I just had to. I like so many others in the comments here practically grew up watching Blair and Elle's videos (and me and Blaire are the same age!) I learned so much from this beauty guru duo from how to do my hair, makeup, how to organize and decorate my bedroom / apartment and handbags...and had so much fun the whole time. Today I'm a successful investment executive in Mayfair and am also about to be engaged, and a lot of my makeup and fashion taste (and handbag organization skills!) today, aged 31, still go back to what I learned from Elle and Blair. I was so excited to find Blair has been making videos again and I am living for it. Nostalgia overload. SO excited for more content..!
You are a testament of success in so many ways and irs so inspiring to see. You went from your parents bedroom filming.. moving to LA. Doing the entire LA thing (used to live there, it can definitely be challenging) then you said nope its best for me if i go back to school.. its inspiring because like you said you went from influencer budget to normal. This would be SO difficult for the majority of people. Kudos to you for sticking to yourself. I hope you give yourself all the credit you deserve... And congrats on your engagement!

I also use Cle de Peau concealer. There is no better. With the brush they made for it and dig all the way down to the base. I buy one once a year so I feel it's justified ❤
honestly it feels great to watch someone discussing beauty knowing they live an ordinary, working life like myself. very refreshing to see this amongst a sea of influencers with seven and eight figure salaries.
We’re around the same age and I grew up watching you and Michelle Phan. There’s a nostalgic feeling seeing you post content here and there… like an old friend from HS or college popping in to say how things are going. You just pick up right where you left off and it really does take you back to that period of your life. There’s also something so calming and authentic to post for fun - the original purpose of social media. I don’t comment very much but just wanted to say hi. I don’t even think I ever commented back then but I did watch your videos consistently.

Seeing this video in my feed felt like such a treat! Influencer videos these days are terrible for my adhd & give me anxiety. They talk too quickly, the thumbnails are too chaotic & the theme of the video always feels click baity for the views. But I never feel like that with the OG influencers like you, elle, fleur, lindsey etc. It’s always calm. It always feels like a warm hug. I leave the video feeling joyous and happy. I’m so happy you made this video/ are back making videos. Even if it is as little as once a year! Or not even! There’s no pressure Blair. I can confidently say I will always feel happy after watching a video of yours regardless of how frequently or non-frequently you upload! I often rewatch you & elle & just put your videos on in the background while i’m doing chores. But then sometimes I feel a little isolated cause i’m watching a video from 8 years ago & don’t know what’s going on in the world 😅 so it’s a tough balance.. but you will always have our love and support! Thank you for the joy you brought me as a teenager & also the joy you bring me now as someone in my mid 20’s. Your videos with your dad during vlogmas were some of my favourite.
