The dancer in my dsr static got a grey in our first clear. Even though he was probably the most consistent in there, actually did good damage (we were always speeding all phases), was consistent with his mitigation and supportive resources, and had an amazing attitude. Why he parsed low? Because he held for his team in every single phase, just so we can prog and clear as smoothly as possible and get the most out of every pull. The log is never gonna reflect this though, but this is the kind of player that would thrive in an early prog environment

I also have a gray parse on TOP and DSR because I have to hold for KT cause we are killing it to quickly and the people are complaining how we are killing too fast but no one else is holding. I really hope this FFlogs-first mentality dies away. I would like to find week 1 prog groups next expansion, but I'm anxious because of these grey parses in TOP and DSR.
@@nazrynn3550 Yea you're right. However, the higher quality the static, the more depths they look into the logs and know what to look for. I am honestly the same mentality as that DNC. I will gladly hold my dps to delay kill time for others to hit for their gauge. Sandbagging is almost necessary to get any good parses in ultimates, and is also why it's very easy to get a great parse as soon as the party is willing to sandbag for your parse because the competition is lower. This also includes never holding for others because it's the same exact thing when you screw other people's parses over for your own.
Hoooooly.... The catharsis. Idk if Xeno will see this. But man... I raided with this guy. I PROGGED with this guy. Back when his name was "Ayay Ron" in game. The line you said about "I bet this guy griefs his prog group" yeah... Here's some of the things that happened during our push to clear Abyssos week 1. (spoilers, we got p12s in week 2...) (Paraphrased as this was over a year ago now) - "you can't go for dinner, you took too many breaks" - He put the raid together, claimed he was raid leading. REFUSED to put any effort into actually leading. No schedules. No loot plan. Nothing. - turned my vc volume way down so he couldn't hear me, because I critizised him about dropping mechs on me. - Accused healers of greeding because they weren't dropping gcd's to heal. Then proceeded to, the literal next pull, gapclose off a mech during the end of p12, wiping the raid - He would ALWAYS, ALWAYS sulk whenever someone corrected him on something fucking up. - Walled fights if he got bad openers, bare in mind this was PROG. Not parsing. Legit was the 2 worst weeks in ff14 I've ever had. Actually ruined the game for me and eventually lead to me quitting for good. guy is an absolute toxic cesspool. Learned 0 lessons.

Kinda know this from WoW where the parsing culture is even more prevalent. It's insane how delusional some players are, you can't pick up chicks with your rank 1 parse, you can't earn any money with it, it's worth nothing irl and even ingame you have to realize even with 2 brain cells remaining it's always cheese and luck based to a good degree. It's something very stupid you just do for fun and stay motivated during farm, both games would be better off if everyone would treat parsing as such.
its a very vocal minor group its funny cause when you actualy look at good week 1 HC groups, logs are nothing more than a proof of concept. its why we all trial people for weeks and prepare a team a mounth or two in advance when we need new people
ive known ReqCat for YEARS, think close to a decade now, before this he played league of legends, this isnt actually anything new, if anything he is much more mild in ff14 than in his league days LMFAO
Holy fuckin shit I know this guy. He joined a C4U/C41 DSR party and streamed it while getting super pissy about small mistakes late into the fight where you expect them (stuff like exact positioning of wb2, and small mistakes where mit wasn't up in final phase cause people learning exact timing and so on). He was essentially using the C41/C4U parties as a content farm since you can basically go "oh look at the idiots making the idiot mistakes lol" inside of prog/kill parties. I made the mistake of tuning into his stream and since I honestly felt fucking horrible after having his entire chat and him really dog on me for final-phase shakies inside of a group where people were already angry at eachother. The most petty thing is that when I cleared the next day with another group, he took the screenshot put into the clear channel and reposted it back with my character cut out of the image completely unprovoked. I played it off as "lol now you can use my clear as a template since it was such a good picture!" (what am I gonna do, start beef when he has more of a history in the community than me and end up being pushed out) but honestly, it felt extremely targetted, needlessly vindictive and mean. I'm not surprise he's a total fucking dick elsewhere.
I unironically knew a guy exactly like this, but his ego would put this dude to shame. The moment you managed to overcome something this person wasn't able to, he'd get insanely angry and start demanding the person be kicked. It happened once and the whole FC (which I was a part of sadly but didn't know any of what I'm about to say) would actively go out of their way to stalk the person and try to get them kicked from other FCs while spreading false allegations of predatory behavior. The guy eventually came after me, which was his first fuck up because I immediately dismantled his ego and destroyed his will to live. I then proceeded to notify all FCs I had connections to about the FC he was in and left soon after, which ultimately led to that FC's downfall and everyone scattered. He's still around, tries to act friendly around me (likely out of fear) and I always tell him that if I learn about him harassing anymore friends of mine, I'll make him feel so terrible that his future generations will feel it. I should preface that I'm rarely hostile towards players. Only time I get aggressive is if someone's ego is getting out of hand so I bring them back down to Earth. Outside of that, I'm a chill (albeit very monotone) in game. Around close friends though, I crack jokes and act more lively
I love how he thinks you dont have enough gauge for meteor because he always overcaps by 5 so he thinks its impossible to have more than 45 gauge at meteor

ong, right? Sure, I could fit a few more gcds during Perfect Alexander and get a better parse, but I don't want to risk wiping the raid to dying to stillness/ghosting invuln on tb/misunderstanding what my clone does in fate cal (I gaslight myself into thinking I get something different).
@@Jet_Ink I prog atm TEA as Tank but use range attack when i have to move the Boss in P1/P2 even if its not absolut neccesary its more comfy for me to keep the GCD rolling while also moving the Boss fast enough (most of the Time it is just one range attack but im sure there are some neckbeards that want to explain me how much damage i lost)
Ultimate = Consistency > Optimization Prog>LOG. You can always tell when someone does not do zero hour raiding/week 1 PROG have no idea what it takes to figure shit out and create strats and recognize patterns. Id love to see how this guy progs just to see him struggle XD
true about consistency over logging, for the rest ur just yappin. most if not all week 1 prog groups steal strats from the actual good prog team(s) that're ahead of them. doesn't take much effort/brainpower to do that.

Just for reference Req was attempting to apply a dsr week 1 group they took a dnc main playing first time sage for them instead they cleared start week 2 i guess he never recovered from that
Few points to correct here since I was one of the people who was supposed to be in his other week 1 static for dsr but he got accepted elsewhere and he decided to just disband our group a few days before release. Everyone left had to scramble to find a new static since all of us wanted to clear fast but he just left us when he found a "better" group. Dude ended up clearing MONTH 2 and not week 2. I cleared way ahead of this guy and he got salty about it because I was one of the people he threw away for that group. And yes, he never recovered from it. Karma's a bitch Edit: Also no, Req was the sage in that group and the dnc main wasn't the reason they did not clear fast
Yep, clear attempt and the group wiped cause warrior didnt use invuln on WC1, he linked it afterwards in party chat and Req left the group shitting on the mit sheet on stream.
Like there are people in LPDU who genuinely want to help newcomes get more clears, but the majority of them are just hunting for the better parse. Like they can pretend it's all to help people, but let's be real, that shit is more of a symbiotic relationship with newbies than to be genuinely helpful. And most disgusting part, is that they got some shitters who don't shut up the whole instance but manage to commit the most cringe griefing in p6, often times we're stuck in wb1 and wb2 because these helpers are greeding like crazy whilst disrespecting the tether stretch.

The EU Top "helping" scene is so cringe. There's multiple people like him that go into clear PF's to help and then shit-talk people for making even the smallest mistake and say "You don't want to clear". They also sell Runs by the way. :) Who would have thought.
The funniest part to me: The LPDU-strats (short for Light Pf Does Ultimate) are strats that are optimized for pf, so, you know, simplicity and consistency, not optimization 🤷♂️

As a player that played on NA and now I'm on EU... NA has a lot more players so that means the PF is better because you can find a better variety, that also applies for marketboard and stuff like that. But all this has nothing to do with parse so there is no better or worse when it comes to clearing... And plus, you don't need a great parse to clear, I have a clear on pretty mcuh every fight and most of them I have grey parse like most of my friends, does it matter? NO! because we cleared in a shitty parse but we had FUN and yhat's what matters
I feel a sense of sick satisfaction from all this. I completed my first savage tier, being told that parses were everything and that for p12s Lazy Lasers was the best strat because I didn't get high parses I wasn't qualified to argue on it.
Some people clearly take this game too seriously, your achievements and shit will only ever exist in this game and nothing else. I understand the prestige of doing ultimate content and going through all the steps and fine details planning the mits and making it to the end. It’s cool it really is, but it won’t be anything else besides that. A video game achievement. Be proud of your work yeah but learn to understand what’s really important and what isn’t. This game is fun but don’t let it rule your behavior, Mind and heart. Chill out
People like ReqShat kinda soured the pf ult raiding experience for me, thankfully I did meet some nice peeps that genuinely helped me clear DSR last year so it’s not all negative. 💕
Cat actually had a "would you be happier had I a good reason?" moment bringing up logs. Like, Malachite could have 100 clears on every job as rank 1 and I can bet money that Cat'd still say the mit plan is shit.
I was able to clear TOP on patch in the PF entirely and it wasn't too bad (though yes did use the melon so take that as you will). The REAL challenge was getting reclears; so many of these "Saus Legends" would filter back into the PF after getting their clear trying to get reclears and 9/10 times they would be the ones making silly mistakes. It was so infuriating that after 10 clears I said enough was enough.
Bro I was a massive douche and did pf reclears with ppl with only 3clears+ allowed on eu. Oh booie the shitstorm for this I had to deal with was ooof But at least we would consistently clear each week in pf with randoms under 40m. God sometimes we would run 2x in a row just for fun Like breh, let me join and help ppl clear when I feel like it and don't shame me into not gating bad players to waste my time when I just want a totem
The biggest thing I took away from this is Requies Cat really just projected super hardcore and I'm surprised it wasn't caught by Xeems. I'm referring to the fact RC kept saying that the guide was being pushed on the community as the end all, be all guide. That's the whole reason he goes so hard on it too... Doesn't that sound like projection, like he EXPECTS people to follow the guides he does/make? That really didn't sit right with me at all
I used to be a parse monkey in Shb, thinking that having 100s and 99s made me seem like a better player (although I never really had an ego I just wanted them for myself and pressing buttons is fun on 6 positional monk) I switched to phys ranged and tank this expac and man I just focused on honing in on becoming a better prog player as I realised how meaningless it was to parse. I believe I’ve become a better player overall. Good dmg comes naturally, play by feel. I have found that parsers (esp. parsing healers) grief giga hard in prog a good chunk of the time or are more likely to cause issues within the group. LPDU is riddled with Boy Band members similar to Req. You can definitely do with avoiding a few of them and do fine in pf Ult
Every now and then me and my bf cohealer would have people accuse us of parsing over the clear and we always laughed because we planned out every skill and mit so we could consistently always do the same things regardless of party comp to allow us to prog/clear. And when you do that, you naturally optimize and parse higher anyway because you know exactly how many GCDs you have/dont have, etc. It was literally things like delaying spread lo for the 2nd half of a multi hit LP stack, so the group goes low but the spread lo covers the remaining damage while regens from oGCDs, etc heal everyone up as they come off cooldown. If HP felt like it was too low because of missed mits or something, I as the WHM always had flowers I could just use there to top us anyway. But we would have players mad about "yall just wanted to attack, no heals." But we cleared? Lol. Whats frustrating is yeah when you have healers that think like "oh the SCH will just spreadlo here i dont need to do anything" and then its PF, it doesnt happen, mits get missed, and congratulations, your GCD heal that SHOULD have been used there that didnt get used in favor of a glare caused you to wipe. Planning out your heals and mits is so important for savage and ultimate...sometimes during prog that means feeling out what skills to use when. Its always frustrating as a healer when you are used to using your ulti for a mechanic, and the other healer uses theirs, and t hen yall are screwed lol. Sometimes in prog takes a few pulls/times through a mechanic for healers to align stuff. Idk, I hate parsers so much. I think logs are incredibly valuable learning and growth tools but I tend to not pay much attention to them.
ReqCat continuing to prove that he's somehow a worse player than every tank in NA pf ultimates. Man cannot even reach the lowest bar there is, I see better paladins in Duty Roulette: Leveling.

Xenos is absolutely on point ~3 extra safety GCDs won't make a difference, especially compared to the saved time from not slamming into the floor chasing perfect GCD ideals.
I had a similar experience last year in Dead Ends of all places. Had a paladin who was new to the dungeon, and an overconfident, self-centered jackass Lala Scholar. (I don't hate lalas, you'll see why I added that detail a bit later) This lala got pissed at the (newbie) tank because he had to heal said tank more than *ONCE*. The pally was doing everything right, btw. This same scholar got to be so belligerent that he intentionally yanked the tank into a doom mechanic, then refused to Esuna, or raise them after their inevitable death. Leaving *Me, playing BARD* as the 'skank tank' (Old SWTOR term) Second section, he's still gloating about this or that, treating the tank like a dishrag, etc. While the other 2 in the group are just trying everything they can to get ir to stop. The third section comes around, and I finally hit my breaking point. He starts talking about shit like "I have 5 ultimate weapons! How many do *YOU* have? huh?" I snapped. And FINALLY spoke up for the first time in the entire run. And said. :"Alright, let's play a new game! How many of those Ultimate weapons can I shove up your ass, footstool?" Not one more word from him. We ended in peace, and I got 2 comms, and profuse thanks for shutting him up. XD
I'm not nearly good enough to do any of this. I'm told I have the right mentality for it, and could succeed with practice, etc. I 'retired' from raiding after getting a group all the way to Arthas in a single night, only be swapped out by an undergeared druid who made their Guild leader dump me so they could have my spot. And send me the achievement in tells afterwards. I was just completely frickin'' done. Since then, the only thing I associate with high level raiding, is people like this shithead. And I don't have time for that crap.

Xeems is totaly right about having to think in a raid fight. The more you can relay on muscle memory to do mechanics and your rotation the more you can focus on adjusting during the fight for "Unexpected changes" I need a clip of "We Gotta Chemist Dectective in Chat"
As someone who has done high-end raiding i salute this take here 12:10 absolutely right on that one. I would say it's a take that can only be learned with experience
Congrats on rank 1, as a new raider myself. I see it as content is always first, logs are secondary to check and see where you can improve. Not as a measure of my online PP size, I'm quite comfortable with my real one.
Before i left FFXIV at the end of Endwalker, i used to raid a lot, and i wasn't the worst at it, like i could be somewhat consistent with my clears so long as the people were riding the same train. But i never signed up for parse logs. The only thing i cared about was the Duty Complete text at the end of each raid. That was it, that was my goal. Parsing circlejerk be damned, i got my clear.
ReqCat is sadly very known in EU but he has been like that for ages even before he became somebody from LPDU even out of streaming/playing he is that bad and cringe he is just somebody that lives in FF and cant do anything else but live in FF

To be honest my experience with Requies Cat in Party Finder hasn't been terrible, my honest impression so far has been that he's way too influenced by some of his enthusiasts who keep following him. There are much worse players around him and I just suspect that playing in such an environment has a strong influence on his attitude. I'm not defending him with the crap he said in this video, I'm just saying from personal experience that the rabbit hole goes much deeper.
I feel the same, ppl been shtting on the guy since I started TOP and I had only good experiences with him. I still think that he and the other "toxic" healer are pretty much what kept EU pf alive lol. Not to mention dude is really consistent. This game has barely players at endgame(at least not on EU) and having 4-5 needed people/roles who nolife the sht out of this game def did helped a lot. Bro might've used people to get parses due to his no-hold attitude, but you can't take away that he also was in lower phase proggroups for half the time helping ppl out for hours on end dayin dayout.. but this dogpiling on 1 person was alrdy an lpdu special about anybody who messed up or cleared with a bad number, ppl were just trashtalking due to their miserable lives I guess

There are many reasons to prefer pf over a static and when you take a look at the pf at Peak day time its quite alive.
Aww man, I have been observing this go down past couple days and had I wondered why the name was so familiar. Turns out, req was one of the tanks helping with the DSR C42 (me and the smn) PF a few weeks back...and unsurprisingly haste to being at the very least mildly toxic on p6 dragon HP wipes to the ranged players now makes so much more sense after all this.... (cleared late that lockout after 2 p7 wipes anyhow but still, bit uncalled for ngl that day. Nobody is like trolling p6 on purpose after all) Still all this and yet this ego inflation of his is just running so deep...to rage at a mit sheet that works really well for PF is just, well it just shows madness to say the least...this is one deep rabbit hole thats for sure.
So unsurprisingly this rabbit hole is deeper than the inner core of the Earth and then some. How in the blazes has Req somehow avoided banning on multiple platforms, never mind 14 itself, is astounding especially with what has now been brought into the Light. Hopefully for everyone's sanity, that luck has finally ran out. And to think all this started over a number on a website looking smaller than it once did and regarding a video game at that... -_-
It's from ultimate raids and it's mostly the party finder scene. This is why I refuse to run content at this high end with randos. Friend and FC/static only! Extremes are the hardest trials and they're challenging but nowhere near that bad
The only people who watch this Req guy are people with the same mindset when it comes to logs or raiding. Had some of these patients in PF already, calling themselves "Maidens" 🤣

ive known ReqCat for YEARS, think close to a decade now, before this he played league of legends, this isnt actually anything new, if anything he is much more mild in ff14 than in his league days LMFAO
Holy fuckin shit I know this guy. He joined a C4U/C41 DSR party and streamed it while getting super pissy about small mistakes late into the fight where you expect them (stuff like exact positioning of wb2, and small mistakes where mit wasn't up in final phase cause people learning exact timing and so on). He was essentially using the C41/C4U parties as a content farm since you can basically go "oh look at the idiots making the idiot mistakes lol" inside of prog/kill parties. I made the mistake of tuning into his stream and since I honestly felt fucking horrible after having his entire chat and him really dog on me for final-phase shakies inside of a group where people were already angry at eachother.
The most petty thing is that when I cleared the next day with another group, he took the screenshot put into the clear channel and reposted it back with my character cut out of the image completely unprovoked. I played it off as "lol now you can use my clear as a template since it was such a good picture!" (what am I gonna do, start beef when he has more of a history in the community than me and end up being pushed out) but honestly, it felt extremely targetted, needlessly vindictive and mean.
I'm not surprise he's a total fucking dick elsewhere.
I unironically knew a guy exactly like this, but his ego would put this dude to shame. The moment you managed to overcome something this person wasn't able to, he'd get insanely angry and start demanding the person be kicked. It happened once and the whole FC (which I was a part of sadly but didn't know any of what I'm about to say) would actively go out of their way to stalk the person and try to get them kicked from other FCs while spreading false allegations of predatory behavior.
The guy eventually came after me, which was his first fuck up because I immediately dismantled his ego and destroyed his will to live. I then proceeded to notify all FCs I had connections to about the FC he was in and left soon after, which ultimately led to that FC's downfall and everyone scattered.
He's still around, tries to act friendly around me (likely out of fear) and I always tell him that if I learn about him harassing anymore friends of mine, I'll make him feel so terrible that his future generations will feel it.
I should preface that I'm rarely hostile towards players. Only time I get aggressive is if someone's ego is getting out of hand so I bring them back down to Earth. Outside of that, I'm a chill (albeit very monotone) in game. Around close friends though, I crack jokes and act more lively

@@Jet_Ink I prog atm TEA as Tank but use range attack when i have to move the Boss in P1/P2 even if its not absolut neccesary its more comfy for me to keep the GCD rolling while also moving the Boss fast enough (most of the Time it is just one range attack but im sure there are some neckbeards that want to explain me how much damage i lost)

Just for reference Req was attempting to apply a dsr week 1 group they took a dnc main playing first time sage for them instead they cleared start week 2 i guess he never recovered from that
Few points to correct here since I was one of the people who was supposed to be in his other week 1 static for dsr but he got accepted elsewhere and he decided to just disband our group a few days before release. Everyone left had to scramble to find a new static since all of us wanted to clear fast but he just left us when he found a "better" group.
Dude ended up clearing MONTH 2 and not week 2. I cleared way ahead of this guy and he got salty about it because I was one of the people he threw away for that group. And yes, he never recovered from it. Karma's a bitch

Like there are people in LPDU who genuinely want to help newcomes get more clears, but the majority of them are just hunting for the better parse. Like they can pretend it's all to help people, but let's be real, that shit is more of a symbiotic relationship with newbies than to be genuinely helpful. As a player that played on NA and now I'm on EU... NA has a lot more players so that means the PF is better because you can find a better variety, that also applies for marketboard and stuff like that. But all this has nothing to do with parse so there is no better or worse when it comes to clearing... And plus, you don't need a great parse to clear, I have a clear on pretty mcuh every fight and most of them I have grey parse like most of my friends, does it matter? NO! because we cleared in a shitty parse but we had FUN and yhat's what matters

I feel a sense of sick satisfaction from all this. I completed my first savage tier, being told that parses were everything and that for p12s Lazy Lasers was the best strat because I didn't get high parses I wasn't qualified to argue on it.
Some people clearly take this game too seriously, your achievements and shit will only ever exist in this game and nothing else. I understand the prestige of doing ultimate content and going through all the steps and fine details planning the mits and making it to the end. It’s cool it really is, but it won’t be anything else besides that. A video game achievement. Be proud of your work yeah but learn to understand what’s really important and what isn’t. People like ReqShat kinda soured the pf ult raiding experience for me, thankfully I did meet some nice peeps that genuinely helped me clear DSR last year so it’s not all negative. 💕
Cat actually had a "would you be happier had I a good reason?" moment bringing up logs. Like, Malachite could have 100 clears on every job as rank 1 and I can bet money that Cat'd still say the mit plan is shit.
I was able to clear TOP on patch in the PF entirely and it wasn't too bad (though yes did use the melon so take that as you will). The REAL challenge was getting reclears; so many of these "Saus Legends" would filter back into the PF after getting their clear trying to get reclears and 9/10 times they would be the ones making silly mistakes. It was so infuriating that after 10 clears I said enough was enough.
Bro I was a massive douche and did pf reclears with ppl with only 3clears+ allowed on eu. Oh booie the shitstorm for this I had to deal with was ooof
But at least we would consistently clear each week in pf with randoms under 40m. God sometimes we would run 2x in a row just for fun

The biggest thing I took away from this is Requies Cat really just projected super hardcore and I'm surprised it wasn't caught by Xeems.
I'm referring to the fact RC kept saying that the guide was being pushed on the community as the end all, be all guide. That's the whole reason he goes so hard on it too... Doesn't that sound like projection, like he EXPECTS people to follow the guides he does/make? That really didn't sit right with me at all
I used to be a parse monkey in Shb, thinking that having 100s and 99s made me seem like a better player (although I never really had an ego I just wanted them for myself and pressing buttons is fun on 6 positional monk) I switched to phys ranged and tank this expac and man I just focused on honing in on becoming a better prog player as I realised how meaningless it was to parse. I believe I’ve become a better player overall. Good dmg comes naturally, play by feel. I have found that parsers (esp. parsing healers) grief giga hard in prog a good chunk of the time or are more likely to cause issues within the group. LPDU is riddled with Boy Band members similar to Req. You can definitely do with avoiding a few of them and do fine in pf Ult
Every now and then me and my bf cohealer would have people accuse us of parsing over the clear and we always laughed because we planned out every skill and mit so we could consistently always do the same things regardless of party comp to allow us to prog/clear. And when you do that, you naturally optimize and parse higher anyway because you know exactly how many GCDs you have/dont have, etc. It was literally things like delaying spread lo for the 2nd half of a multi hit LP stack, so the group goes low but the spread lo covers the remaining damage while regens from oGCDs, etc heal everyone up as they come off cooldown. If HP felt like it was too low because of missed mits or something, I as the WHM always had flowers I could just use there to top us anyway. But we would have players mad about "yall just wanted to attack, no heals." But we cleared? Lol.
Whats frustrating is yeah when you have healers that think like "oh the SCH will just spreadlo here i dont need to do anything" and then its PF, it doesnt happen, mits get missed, and congratulations, your GCD heal that SHOULD have been used there that didnt get used in favor of a glare caused you to wipe.
Planning out your heals and mits is so important for savage and ultimate...sometimes during prog that means feeling out what skills to use when. Its always frustrating as a healer when you are used to using your ulti for a mechanic, and the other healer uses theirs, and t hen yall are screwed lol. Sometimes in prog takes a few pulls/times through a mechanic for healers to align stuff. Idk, I hate parsers so much. I think logs are incredibly valuable learning and growth tools but I tend to not pay much attention to them.

I had a similar experience last year in Dead Ends of all places. Had a paladin who was new to the dungeon, and an overconfident, self-centered jackass Lala Scholar. (I don't hate lalas, you'll see why I added that detail a bit later)
This lala got pissed at the (newbie) tank because he had to heal said tank more than *ONCE*. The pally was doing everything right, btw. This same scholar got to be so belligerent that he intentionally yanked the tank into a doom mechanic, then refused to Esuna, or raise them after their inevitable death. Leaving *Me, playing BARD* as the 'skank tank' (Old SWTOR term)
Second section, he's still gloating about this or that, treating the tank like a dishrag, etc. While the other 2 in the group are just trying everything they can to get ir to stop.
The third section comes around, and I finally hit my breaking point. He starts talking about shit like "I have 5 ultimate weapons! How many do *YOU* have? huh?"
I snapped. And FINALLY spoke up for the first time in the entire run. And said. :"Alright, let's play a new game! How many of those Ultimate weapons can I shove up your ass, footstool?"
Not one more word from him. We ended in peace, and I got 2 comms, and profuse thanks for shutting him up. XD
I'm not nearly good enough to do any of this. I'm told I have the right mentality for it, and could succeed with practice, etc. I 'retired' from raiding after getting a group all the way to Arthas in a single night, only be swapped out by an undergeared druid who made their Guild leader dump me so they could have my spot. And send me the achievement in tells afterwards. I was just completely frickin'' done.
Since then, the only thing I associate with high level raiding, is people like this shithead. And I don't have time for that crap.

Before i left FFXIV at the end of Endwalker, i used to raid a lot, and i wasn't the worst at it, like i could be somewhat consistent with my clears so long as the people were riding the same train. But i never signed up for parse logs. The only thing i cared about was the Duty Complete text at the end of each raid. That was it, that was my goal. Parsing circlejerk be damned, i got my clear.

To be honest my experience with Requies Cat in Party Finder hasn't been terrible, my honest impression so far has been that he's way too influenced by some of his enthusiasts who keep following him. There are much worse players around him and I just suspect that playing in such an environment has a strong influence on his attitude. I'm not defending him with the crap he said in this video, I'm just saying from personal experience that the rabbit hole goes much deeper.
I feel the same, ppl been shtting on the guy since I started TOP and I had only good experiences with him. I still think that he and the other "toxic" healer are pretty much what kept EU pf alive lol. Not to mention dude is really consistent. This game has barely players at endgame(at least not on EU) and having 4-5 needed people/roles who nolife the sht out of this game def did helped a lot. Bro might've used people to get parses due to his no-hold attitude, but you can't take away that he also was in lower phase proggroups for half the time helping ppl out for hours on end dayin dayout..

Aww man, I have been observing this go down past couple days and had I wondered why the name was so familiar.
Turns out, req was one of the tanks helping with the DSR C42 (me and the smn) PF a few weeks back...and unsurprisingly haste to being at the very least mildly toxic on p6 dragon HP wipes to the ranged players now makes so much more sense after all this.... (cleared late that lockout after 2 p7 wipes anyhow but still, bit uncalled for ngl that day. Nobody is like trolling p6 on purpose after all)
Still all this and yet this ego inflation of his is just running so deep...to rage at a mit sheet that works really well for PF is just, well it just shows madness to say the least...this is one deep rabbit hole thats for sure.
