Also worth mentioning: the Pliers Wrench soft jaws are hard plastic, and the Cobra soft jaws are rubber. And if you find yourself using the pliers wrench with the soft jaws a lot, but they don't stay on very well, try a Gedore brand pliers wrench with their soft jaws. They stay on way better, but they're hard to remove, so they work best as a dedicated soft jaw tool.

I wish they had chromed these like the originals. Did it really cost that much to add so much more durability and resistance to rust?

Can you share the part no of the soft tip for both cobra and nut plier please. Also did you say the tip will not fit old style nut piler, do you mean it will not slide in at all or just hold in place?
    Thanks

@@projectpinehills These are not the best. The best are with VDE handles. The same tool, but protects you up to 1000 volts.

@@pzwolski If you need that protection for electrical work, then I'd agree. I like the vinyl dipped handles because they are slimmer, lighter and take up less space in the tool bag.

@@projectpinehills You never know what the pipe is connected to. XD
I have heard stories that iron cast wall heater killed the plumber, because someone connected the stuff to 230 volt in the building's basement. Rare case, but 'life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get'.
      Safety first!
