    Great top 5. I started with the cobras and pliers wrench as well. Then got hooked. I do building controls. By far most used Knipex is the 6" diagonal cutters. I've used them for everything for 3 years and they'll still cut pull string like scissors.

    I have quite a few Knipex but I don't care for those "comfort" handles, they just seem to get in the way in tight working areas. I do really like the Pliers Wrenches, as they call them, but with the other handles. The leverage and design is extraordinary and allows you to do things you couldn't with any other hand tool.

    • @foodparadise5792
      @foodparadise5792 Рік тому +2

      Totally agree, I own almost every knipex tools, some of the same tool I even own two. The comfort handle version just takes more space in tool pouch and you can hardly feel the difference.

    • @woodworkerroyer8497
      @woodworkerroyer8497 Рік тому +1

      I could see that. The only comfort grips I have are because they're vde, or on the twin grips (and I think that's the only option on those).
      Only thing I hate about the pliers wrench is that they don't lock. So if you get some real high torque stuff you'll need a different tool. But for most things they're invaluable. I carry Cobras for work though, cause I'd rather save weight and find a rag to save the chrome finished stuff than not have a grip on the stuff that needs those teeth.

    I use the Twingrips at our OLD stables too. So many ancient, rusty nails, screws, bolts in the barn, fences, you name it. This thing just yanks stuff out. And I agree, gotta have the comfort grips on these... I wouldn't have known about them without you of course, thanks!

    In the last month I started changing over all of my other pliers and wrenches to Knipex . However I did make a mistake when I ordered the double grip pliers I did not get the comfort handle. You absolutely want that handle if you have bigger hands because those are thinner and aggravate my palms the comfort handles are incredibly comfortable and don't have any of these problems. I know a quality that's why the first time I used one of these changed everything for me next ill get Whia Screwdrivers and PB Swiss

      It's better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

      You ignored my question.
      Do you say "jeez-us" or "hey-soos"?
      If you're American, you're free to pronounce words the way Americans pronounce them.

    I always called it "ny-pex".
    Silent "k".
    Either way they're good quality in my experience.

      Absolutely. The company even sells a shirt now to help with pronunciation ua-cam.com/users/shorts1mgCErcyifw?feature=share

      In English nypex sounds ok. But in German the K is to be pronounced too. Maybe Qneepecks?
      Same with Biden. In German you read Beeden - a not existing word.
