Greeding as a DPS has actually taught me how to heal better. Soaking up some radiation is fine when it means getting off a critical heal.

There was a time where, if you didn't hit your positional, the combo stopped. When you had a tank with happy feet, just turning the boss randomly... Oh man, you wanted to murder them.
My main tank does thus in p2s where there's no positionals hahaha
Im a tank main, but I must admit that there are few things in-game more satisfying than playing as a DRG and backflipping out of a danger puddle at the last second just to jump right back in as soon as it goes away without losing any uptime 😁😁

you can do a macro for when you activate Enshroud where you yell "time for spooky slice!"
All he did was use the song "Monster Mash" and put his own little spin on it. The original song was from the 60's era. I was 6 years old when the "Monster Mash" came out. The song is old as hell. lol

Just goes to show that adding your own little twist to something "old as hell" can make it that much more enjoyable, try it out! 😁

black mage makes more big numbers tho.
and i don't mean that black mage does more DPS, i mean he does an overall more bigger numbers, given the fact that he's slow and has very potent spells.
with other DPS you'll see one big number every once in a while but mostly you'll be dealing a lot of numbers instead.
Ya, burst damage always looks impressive. Can be harder to hit consistently though, because a single miss/wasted action is much more of a disruption for the overall DPS.
I don't really greed, but I guess that's because I started on black mage/thaumaturge and you cannot be greedy on that

I wont say that Monk rework was a success considering hes the least popular melee job played(Second least on 6.1 and third least played of ALL jobs in 6.2) DESPITE being just reworked, compared to SMN that despite its flaws is right now sitting on the top 3 of the most popular jobs.
Monk has good damage numbers and SOME cool animations but thats the most you can say about it, since gameplay is extremely boring outside the messy burst phase and looks now like a discount ninja. Probably MNK will be stuck like that until 8.0 for the next "hope we get it right this time" rework

The golden rule of If you aint gonna greed you probably shouldn't play melee

Monk is so bad now. It's literally just another sticker job like Samurai now. I swear Square needs to stop making all these jobs so braindead. Bring back old monk and Summoner!
