Just realised that the US market is getting shafted compared to the EU market on the trim levels. Even the basic trim level in the EU has 17 inch alloy wheels, 10 inch screen is standard, keyless entry is standard, fully digital dash is standard, and some other extras too. This is not an "EU is so much better than the USA" comment, I just never realised how different trim levels can be across different markets.
Just bought a corolla cross LE after driving my wonderful 1999 Rav4 for 25 yrs. I'm kinda disappointed and very much confused.😢 I hate the way the engine shuts off when stopped at a light. Feels like you just ran out of gas and makes for a very disjointed ride as well. Also, why cant you lock the glove box? I would trade my keyless entry for physical key every time! It's nice looking and I especially love the Cypress Green color but I think I should have gone with the Subaru Forrester.
@@vs6462 Yes I saw that in a video! My question is can it be turned off or disabled? I'm seriously thinking about taking the monetary hit and buying a Subaru Forrester or Rav 4.
@@mofreedom2913Yes you can turn it off, but you have to turn it off every time you start the car. The button is located just above the gear shift. It has the letter A with a circled arrow going around it. I hate that you can't permanently shut that feature off, but I've grown accustomed to pushing that button and utilizing the brake hold button next to it every time I get in my Cross.
This was hilarious cause over the weekend I went to go test drive the hybrid SE and the scummy salesman tried telling me the best OTD price they could do was $40k 😂😂 I couldn’t have walked out faster
I got mine in May and I love it. It's great for city driving and does well on small hills. You can only fit 2 adults in the rear seat comfortably.

@@omolara OK, thank you for the information as I'm still trying to decide whether to keep the Cross or not. I appreciate your response! 👍
At least it isn't like some Subarus which die out at stop signs and lights.
Some of the comments from the host are funny
You guys charge too much for these economy cars in a bad economy 😂. Otherwise I’d get one.

33K for an LE AWD rip off 25K makes more sense But Toyota prices are high
So don't get the LE for the KEY ignition model. OK
