Hey! congratulations on obtaining your new guitar!
I tend to use the sowftare Guitar Rig, the effect is a Chorus one, with any Chorus effect you should get a similar sound, and the microphone should be one of the last 2, the ones that sound more warm, not the crispy and "soloing" ones. I hope this helps you

Thanks man, the software is just Guitar Rig 5, with the Clean Chorus preset and some easy tweaks.

Sure:
1. Train your ear, some things come easily if you do it.
2. Trial and error method.
3. Use chordify as a tool (altough is far from perfect it can be very useful)
4. Doing research even in pages completly in japanese (in this case, if not do a research on social platforms and webpages the most you can)

Thank you, I was wondering for so long, what fucking chords are these people playing in these City Pop songs? Where are they getting these chords from? What notes are they playing in between not being on the spotlight, those very simple one-note-sounding melodies. So much stuff.
It is a very accurate comment, in many songs, City Pop composers put these non spotlight guitars that sound so precisely good, they do it with all the instruments as a matter of fact. The mixing and mastering is elite in these kind of songs as well.

Actually those are just notes, i think those are frets 10 and 9 from the B string, hope it helped!
