I've come to believe that WatchMojo is staffed with 18 year olds. They don't shit from shinola about music. They're all under the misconception that Rap and EDM are actualyl music.

WatchMojo has its place in the ecosystem. Creatures will exist to feed on low effort benign view harvesting and inertia of the YT algorithm. At least the narrators have a tinge of ‘I really don’t care what I am saying’ to keep it real.

I still think "Heart of the Sunrise" is a pretty intense bass line, but then you have the chill bass solo after that's so good. "Roundabout" has a good bassline as well, but I feel like Squire's best stuff can be found on "The Fish," or "Tempus Fugit." Of course, he did some incredible work over his career, so there's certainly plenty to pick from.

Roundabout is the most amazing song and the endurance to make it all the way through from beginning to end is amazing and so are his riffs Rhythm changes just the whole song. I still get worn out after playing the first three and a half minutes LOL.
I mostly use my fingers on bass but I also use a pic once in awhile and slap. Here's one of my songs as an example. Nowhere near the talent on here though.

    1. Jamiroquai: Paul Turner is a great bass dude, but the main riff in Runaway it’s completely CRAZY. It’d be nice to hear your “version” of this bass masterpiece
    2. Mohini Dey: I don’t know if it’s properly a song, but the first thing she played at SIT BOOTH at NAMM in 2019, to me, still remains a crazy and top bass moments, ever. The “theme” is such a perfect fusion of groove, musical taste and “variations”.

Some of the hardest bass lines I've ever tried to figure out came from Tool- especially their most recent stuff. The Pot was particularly difficult for me. That said- I haven't even tried anything off Fear Inno. yet so- I assume it's even more difficult because Justin seems to have been finding his footing and I would say on 10,000 Days he really started to shine but you could tell he was evolving quickly- becoming even better.
