    I have about 9k rounds through my Shadow1 now. It's CZCustom trigger job DA/SA with safety like the SAO Shadow2, with no decocker. I hardly ever shoot it DA. I like it better than the Shadow2s I've run stages with.
    The entire CZ75 line is fabulous.

    Great video, a real good comparison of the two pistols. I’d like to have your DA/SA with, his grips. But CZ should have put a decocker only instead of the safety on it, like the Beretta 92X G.

    The trigger reach index is not in favor of either pistol. Depends on the shooter’s hand size and preference. If the trigger reach is short I have a tendency to dip muzzle down on trigger pull. I would most likely favor the single action trigger.

    I have the CZ Shadow 2 SA version, and love it, but I do wish they hadn't colored the trigger blue. it limits the grip panel options to those that match the trigger. The grip panels in this video are cool, but with that blue trigger - It's like driving a black Ferrari with one red door.

    How would you compare a CZ 75 SP-01 with a CGW conversion job to SAO with the same blue trigger/a short reset CGW job and installation of CGW lighter spring set to the Shadow 2 SAO? I can save hundreds of $’s doing the work myself and getting the parts from CGW. I’m no mechanical genius but having watched dozens of installation/conversion videos, I feel fairly convinced that I can do it myself with the small addition of some minor gunsmithing tools… I’d also polish the trigger attachment and hammer rod…. (Pardon the lack of proper names for these parts but I figure you know what I mean)

    My just bought CZ Shadow 2 SA using same guage and never fired gun or polished any trigger parts . And it breaks at 3lb-3lb4oz and take up spring pressure is 1lb 11oz and half cock breaks at 4lb 2oz also i do straight back wherever guage rides on trigger at which is middle trigger, then i do 10 deg. angle pulls which pulls about .05-.075" lower on trigger and that is where i can get a few pulls at 2lb 15oz. Let me know when someone is more detailed on trigger pulls lol. But anyways dont buy a double action assuming it has a lighter SA trigger pull because that will not be the case in terms of my gun bought in march 2021. Not sure if they put a different spring in mine or what but im happy with the pull.

In my country the price is exactly the same and I have to choose on Monday. • @jeffroberts760
    @jeffroberts760 Рік тому

    I guess I don’t see any disadvantage in the DA/SA, considering it makes it a safer gun to carry. The action will stay single throughout your runs in a match when you reload unless you inadvertently drop the hammer on an empty magazine, right? And before you start a run you would already have the hammer back unless your prefer it down.

      That is a good question. I think the Shadow 2 has a larger slide and frame. Handled this at a dealer show (already a huge fan of the Shadow 2) as well as the DWX and I liked this better...

    • @danielhenderson8316
      @danielhenderson8316 4 роки тому

      Smaller grip since it's based off the smaller CZ-75 instead of the larger TS (with cheaper/easier to find magazines), 4.7" barrel vs. 5.3" on the TSO, heavier trigger on the Shadow 2, and $500ish cheaper than the TSO.
      A 2011 is a step above the TSO, but odds are you're spending at least $1k more on a comparable gun. More hand fitting and higher parts cost drive the price up.
      TL;DR - A Corvette will do everything a 911 will do for less, but won't give you the precision or the refinement of the 911.

      Not the guy in the video, but I paid just south of $1100 for my CZ Shadow 2 SAO.
      I prefer the flatter trigger, as it "feels" lighter. Some people like the curved trigger because it gives you a consistent finger placement on the trigger. It's personal preference. Go to a gun shop that has both and try out both and see what you like.

U r not wrong, but in terms of competing, this is the USPSA competition rule. No, for shooting groups on paper I don't like to do more than 10 and sometimes less. Fatigue will set in, and the group will suffer - that's not a fair representation, IMO.

      I’ve got one and I’d “Carry Neither.” I would carry my CZ 75 compact. The Shadows are HEAaVY ! About 42? Ounces unloaded and a lot more with loaded mags !

      @@JustinOpinionChannel If A CZ-75 is not a known quantity to the potential buyer they are ignorant or retarded. They are about as sure A thing as gravity and taxes.

    Shadow 2 SAO? Pretty good. Sahdow 2 DA/SA? Amazing. Why the difference? If you want the S2 in SAO, just get the tac sport line. It’s like the S2 but better.
