@DAMNyoukilledME Hi, I just opened a new pottery class in downtown San Jose 2 weeks ago. It's just few minutes walk from San Jose Convention Center called Higherfire pottery studio. I am also opened for workshops if any group interested in inviting me to demo.
Best tutorial on structure and creativity in pottery I’ve seen so far.

Hi, I did hand-trimmed the feet but they didn't need to be level. When I used the stick to push the feet against the bat they are leveled.
That is beautiful!!!
Thanks for sharing your technique. Lovely piece.
It's really beautiful what you do!
Good teacher Hsinchuen.
pleasure to watch you work :)
@afatdutch Hi, the surform is my favorite tool when I alter my thrown forms and I can't trim them on the wheel.
Beautiful! Thank you. I've been wondering for 4 years how it was done.
i love your work!

I love it too, both relaxing to watch and listen to. It looks just as relaxing to work as well.

Watch my video #504
Inspirational work!
Gorgeos piece! Oh my! Thank you for the video...If I may ask what is the clay-body you are using for this.. it looks very plastic (flexible)?
Magnificent work!
Wow he works very dry
Had no idea that much work went into that.
So elegant...
Beautiful! How thick did you leave the bottom to allow for the feet?
Maybe about 1/2 inch
Earth Wind and Fire. Good tunes ahaha
Did you trim the individual feet at all? The very bottoms of them seem to miraculously get cleaner at the end. I was worried it might end up wobbly.
Hsinchuen I'm sorry I missed the first part! I love this technique. I'm going to assume you threw this?
excellent work
Wonderful ! Thanks for sharing ♥
What a work how much will you be selling this piece?
I am verry happy with you, thanks
Hi 林老師:
Is it possible to make a twisted triangular vessel using the same method? If so, can you make a demonstration on how to do it?
Check video #42 on his channel.
Perfect as always :)
