I've been watching and following travelers for many many years and some of the biggest issues that are still at the top of their list are that they claim they are victims of prejudice and the laws everyone else has to follow don't pertain to them? They clearly talk about locals not liking them and it's more than likely very true! B/c when they blow into town and leave a path of destruction and chaos behind them it's not surprising? I find it very strange that they want everyone else to accommodate them and their way of life but don't have the education and common sense to realize it works both ways?. Educating their children should be a priority and not an inconvenience to them,! Life will leave the children behind like it's left their parents and grandparents behind because of no education... everything changes and nothing stays the same with or without participation.

@@DawnShipley1977And some people are so entrenched in their own culture that they can't see it for what it really is, which is a way bigger problem than what you're describing. When your culture has specific customs women need to abide by when their husband goes to prison, you need to start wondering what kind of culture you're living in. When your culture normalizes men physically forcing women to get intimate with them, you need to start wondering what kind of culture you're living in. You can repeat this ad nauseum with, at the very least, this subsection of the gypsy culture that's portrayed on the show. A lot of states it’s 16 in fact. Only a few are 18.
