The problem with Starfield is the things NPCs asks you to do would only make sense in a medieval setting. Those "talk to [person]" quests where you travel to another planet, talk to [person], then travel back to the 1st planet, would only make sense in a future where interstellar comms somehow don't exist, but interstellar travel does.🤨
I think that's mentioned in dialogue. You can't exactly connect a grav drive to a radio signal. I guess you could have ships that routinely jump to different systems to relay messages, but maybe it's cost prohibitive. I kinda think this limitation makes sense.
Certain fetch quest make more sense, not the 'fly back across the galaxy and tell this person it's completed.' But if you are doing a solo mission and do something a companion doesn't like and wasn't there to see you do because they are either on the ship pr another planet- Everybody in the star system knows what you did instantly. WTH?!
@@luckylanno Very true. People greatly underestimate the vastness of space. Radio waves travel at the same speed as light in space, and the amount of time it would take for radio waves to cross the galaxy is way more than a lifetime lmao. That said, fetch quests and the like are especially boring in starfield and the realism does not make it more enjoyable.
Yeah, it is literally told in the lore and dialogues that humanity does not have FTL communication and literally have jobs of message delivery, news broadcasting. Literally dream job for Skyrim's courier with his ability to teleport even to literal hell to deliver. But also yes, fetch quests suck as long as they are just straight deliver mission. No stealth-based fetch quest, where you must deliver nuclear device to middle of a laboratory and escape it, no fetch quest where you're on the constant run on another ships...

How do you hype a bug fix patch like it's something major and then find someway to still underdeliver on such a tiny deliverable? There's something foundationally broken at Bethesda.
I find it funny how FSR3 is still not added, considering it only took a few days before a modder was able to add compatibility with their FSR3 mod. Some people might consider it a meme, but its the reality - the modders did fix most of the bugs before Bethesda.
Ever heard of something being so bad that previous iterations look good (and are good) in comparison? Starfield is trash tier and anyone defending this game has 0 taste or standard. Or rather, anyone who defends this game is precisely the target audience.
I actually liked the concept and idea that it could be downloaded as a mod for your world. The reason people hated the settlement building was that Bethesda tied it as a main story quest for you to side with The Minutemen and you couldn't even get around it by contracting builders in the game. I love Camp building in Fallout 76, I've always hated settlement building in Fallout 4
I mostly just focused on the settlement building in FO4 and didn't really care about the game's story, though it is better than SF. The writing is not good. SF to me is ship building with a dull game around it.
@SicSemperMortemTyrannisI don’t think they have released the official Creation Kit yet, so we will see. I have doubts that modders are going to put the time and effort into this game that they put into previous titles.
Compared to Larian Studios, which came out at a similar time, this is absolutely ridiculous. LC has updated their game multiple times with innumerable bug fixes, quality of life changes and actual new content and they’re not a AAA studio.

My gut feeling is that bg3 was able to be bug fixed faster because it uses an engine that’s not a house of cards and interdependent knots held together with tissue and prayers.
As someone who loves Starfield, this is a good update, but it's not fantastic. The more bugs that are resolved, the better. But waiting 6 whole weeks for simple bug fixes is too little, That is literally a month and a half. They need to be cranking out these updates faster. Or every six weeks, they need to have massive updates.
@deergreen1997 Honestly, you're probably right. But let's not act as if bethesda has never added things into their game. When skyrim first released kill cams for ranged weapons were not a thing. And mounted combat was not a thing either. Plus, they improved vampires and Werewolves through DLC.
And it’s not just that Baldur’s Gate 3s bug fixes are bigger, they’ve also add new content in patches, like the post game reunion camp, or the new Avernus ending cutscene with Karlach, because that was something players complained about, and they listened. But no matter how much we complain, we’ll never get a better solution for the horrible ECS Constant quest.
I feel for those that bought this thing buuuuttt HOW PATHETIC is it that after EIGHT YEARS , after SELLING it they're STILL working on COMPLETING it? Sad, pathetic and a little enraging.
Responding to Chevalitron, yes that is indeed the bug where the game would run out of ID's and thus screw up your save file leading to a perpetual crash. This allegedly can happen around the 200-400 hours mark depending on how many items you've encountered along the way. New game plus will reset the ID's thus making your save safe from this happening for another while. Definitely the most urgent, game/save breaking bug to fix. Glad its hopefully getting taken care of.
Unfortunately, BethSoft has kind of gotten stuck in their own hype since Skyrim. Unfortunately, I feel like they shot their wad with Skyrim because they’ve not actually released a decent game since. Fallout 4 was a massive waste of time and energy to try to enjoy, Fallout 76 should have stayed a nifty idea for Reddit board discussions, and Starfield is like a really big proof of concept. If they aren’t going to actually listen to what the fans are saying and asking for, they really need to do some internal house cleaning.
Speaking of fixes, someone correct me if I'm wrong here, but I don't think I am. They STILL haven't fixed the headtracking bug. This makes your character look off to the left while running in 3rd person. This bug was reported DAY 1 and was FIXED by a Mod, DAY 1. Stuff like this is baffling to me.
So….moral of story is not to buy video games on release, at least AAA, and wait about 2 years after release to buy. These studios and investors NEED to lose money, a lot of money. They have big heads and shit ideas.
All this time they made this game they coukd have made elder scrolls 6 and fallout 5. With Fallout 76 and Starfield, and to a lesser degree Redfall since they published it, Bethesda has 3 back to back to back duds. They better hope Avowed fails.
Has it? I'm still playing. They said they'd be doing one about every 6 weeks so why are people whining still? If you like it play it, if you don't don't. Easy. How did the world become so soft that they go online & whine about everything
And this disappointment somehow surprises you? Look at what they are concentrating on, in regards to their biggest game ever. A game over a decade old they are *still* trying to re-monetize. And in the process breaking existing mods repeatedly. Their focus is getting their monetizations done right. Anything else is of secondary importance. Maybe one day they will actually add in some *content* that has choices that actually *DO* something. Or hand-made quests. Or hand made areas. Or anything that requires effort, that isn't related directly to making more money from their broken, boring half-assed overpriced piece of crap.
Definitely well laid out. I’ve been involved in a few discussions and I’m one of those people that think. Isn’t this a little bit slow? Anyway, the fixes are coming. Hopefully the content will be coming. If we’re gonna get every six weeks that’s great. My last bit of confusion is why didn’t they fix the quest issues that are literally preventing people from playing the game before they did all of the graphical issues? The first patch should’ve been here let’s fix the quest so you can continue playing the game. I’m confused why that has not been a priority. Anyway, I hope we get a speeder bike, a city map, and a navigational computer. Thanks again for a great video
If I had to guess... People in the Studio who did quest/save/mod stuff are already mostly shuffled to other projects. This means the majority of people left(as planned with any L-S) are graphical. Keep in mind SF had the largest project team and had to pull other teams from all their current projects years ago, those people after a botched release would just be flat out gone from the project and back to their own project the Studio needs to go well, this would mean the small ongoing content staff are the only guaranteed staff left, everybody else is either renegotiated or held back from potential profit making projects. SF will never be "fixed", the biggest issues are poor decisions made in the visualization of the game loop, to get back the full target audience would be to essentially remake the game. This means they are aiming for maybe 10-30% of the current audience satisfaction or a better audience ONLY if they go multi-platform... Which means they cannot budget more that 10-30% of the developers who worked on the project to keep working on it.
@@michaellane5381 OK could be sure absolutely but Todd told us that there are 250 people currently working on the game. That’s bigger than a lot of studios. That’s a lot of people. Hence my confusion but it could be that I just don’t understand how many people it takes to work on a specific issue and if that’s the case I’ll buy that too I just don’t know but to a layman it seems like 250 people working on a game after it came out should be producing a shit ton of Contant. But again I’m a lemon I have no idea how the system works and I could be completely off base.
@@MrTehru the game itself was developed over something like 10 years with 400 people AND pulled in most of Bethesda's other teams for a few years, most of these people can't do the same stuff, and you don't want them all messing with the same core functions simultaneously, they could easily create as many problems as they solve doing things that way, but more importantly they would be taking over for other people, effectively starting from scratch a half finished project without knowing where it was stopped.
this isnt slow at all. normally after a game releases a large part of staff goes on vacation and then they come back and since it was close to Christmas it makes sense this way. cyberpunk took 2 years to get it fully fixed
Quality of life fixes. They're just fixing crap that should NEVER have been "broken" in the FIRST place. The LAST thing I listen to now is, "What they SAID." IT ain't worth NOTHING.@@Joseph-wh5of
What gets me is that this 'Update' was so hyped up and yet it's STILL NOT something that is really ready to roll out!?! So I have to wait another 2 weeks to get the fixes provided here... Obviously, even IF BGS has 200 people that could work on this, there aren't that many people doing so. And they have No 'Quality Assurance' team set up to test an update before it's released. Which is just poor management for what's supposed to be a 'Triple A Game Developer'. It just seems like BGS is NOT acting Professionally. BTW, my first character experienced the Quest Blocker where Temples failed to spawn. So I've been forced to create more characters. Oh, #1 Rule for this game... Save Often, but maybe save Locally so you run out of space and are forced to delete some of your saves.
here is the problem, bethesda chose to do quality of life improvement's over the major fixes, meaning they did the bear minimum of fixes, i want them to prioritize what is more important first, then they can worry about stupid shit like lighting and texture nonsense. if your product is a shitty product and you just polished it it's still shit with some polish on it, so instead of working on it's polish like the stupid moon shadows or the lighting in the game, work on the broken ass shit that is causing people to hate the game. that shit can always be fixed later.
I think this is the sort of patch you expect at the 2 month point, not at the 4.5 month point. If they keep patching and don't stop until it's done, that would be acceptable at least.
It's extremely telling that they put so much effort into graphical fixes instead of actually making the main quest playable. Shows that their priority is looking good instead of being good. Classic Bethesda.
Starfield came out at the worst possible time, with the holidays approaching I fully expected Bethesda to not update much of anything until the new year. They just finished their major game after years of work, I imagine many staff took extra time off, you combine that with the holidays and not much gets done. So I don't think Bethesda was being lazy here, just a lot of the fixes people want were delayed a long time. Now with people back in office working, fully expect Starfield to pick up the pace with updates. And its not like you can't play other games, just come back later if its not up to your standards.
I keep coming back to these starfield videos, perhaps with some foolish hope that they'll come with some game changing update, like literally changing the quests and exploration... but my issue was never the bugs, it's the game itself. I've since been playing fallout again and having fun, idk if I'll ever reinstall starfield again tbh. The only thing I miss are the ships and the ship builder. The rest is bland af.
I'm on PC and been playing for 212hrs without any problems regarding quests, the only weird things i've seen is a guy walking around the martian surface wearing only shorts, spinning ships/boxes, crew members walking across or in the middle of the screen in flight mode but nothing major lol
I have 530 hours in the game and wonder if everyone else is playing the same game. I had 3... t h r e e bugs, none of which were game breaking in that 500+ hours. Who knows how bad their PC/Xbox is, though.
I have still not played the game because every single person I know said its a bug fest. I can't believe this studio have put out a game that needs this much work after so many years of dev time especially after such a bad fallout release
Bethesda has to act like this is a win and a step forward. They go on about how many people have played the game, but it's like a store saying we've had x amount of customers come in. But it doesn't go into depth about how many people have bought the game, how many are still playing, what was the users experience. I sadly think Skyrim was the peak of Bethesda gaming..
I have over 250 hrs played for Starfield. Couldn’t have played the game un-modded, even if I tried (which I have). Despite the anticipated update and promised future updates, it’s time the game and I went our separate ways.
@@ceaserknk6640 you’re missing the point. I am not complaining. Point is I thoroughly played the game to the point where having new updates/DLCs won’t even warrant a replay. People love to complain and to be part of some camp - not me. And you shouldn’t too.
They need to fix the glitch that destroys the New Atlantis spaceport when you take a new ship to the Den. Seems like that’s been a glitch since the start.
I didn't manage to get into Starfield much but when they announced that this big update was coming I was considering giving it another go. I'm a little disappointed that the update didn't change much. That being said at least there seems to be SOME 21:9 support in this update...
@@Joseph-wh5of I had constant performance issues that shouldn't have happened since my PC's specs are comfortably above the recommended specs. But more importantly it just didn't hold my interest very well, you know? But it's happened before that a game didn't grab me the first time but I loved it when I tried again so who knows.
Oh yeah, I've definitely experience the 'modded save files not showing up in your saves list' bug. Unrelated, I haven't been following the updates very closely since I finished my first run, but did they ever get around to fixing the major problem of cargo tranfer link just deciding to stop working? That's what made me give up on building outposts, when I realized that I couldn't reliably ship materials between them because the links kept breaking every time I turned my back on them for a while.
Yeah, well... Bethesda is a notoriously shtty studio that really doesn't care, and has demonstrated a complete lack of care for the quality of their products. It's basically like, "Hey, we made Skyrim", and hoping that's enough to justify their garbage writing, cancerous game engine, awful graphics, complete lack of optimization (remember, you need a NEW PC for this ugly crap), and inexcusable bugs and glitches. The only thing that keeps them in business are all of the console fan-girls. And before you get your panties in a twist, quick question: How many times did they re-release Skyrim without fixing any of the well-known and well documented bugs, without fixing a single one? They don't care, and they don't give a sht about the players.
The only reason I’m coming back to Starfield is because of a bunch of survival mode mods that I downloaded. They really should’ve just had it in the base game after seeing the reception it had in Fo4. It actually makes traveling somewhat interesting because you have to manage your resources and make outposts.
I love the fact that I have put console commands in not only does it disable the achievements because it's "modded" but once I turn the game off to save files are no longer there. if I reload a different game save so if I go from one character to the next some of those saves will not be there.
When I played Starfield, I mostly ignored quests and focused on one goal, fully surveying every planet and moon. I did it, and all I got was a game that was FUBAR because of the FormID issue. I was even denied the official achievement, I assume because I had to spawn in a creature on two planets they would not proc-gen. They were fish on planets without a significant body of water 😓
New Game plus is meaningless , Didn't invest over 450 hours just to toss it all away and give up my rag tag crew of 8 , Starfield really needs more content for those that choose to disconnect from Constellation and do their own thing …
There are a large number of important fixes in the patch. I think that people would have been more receptive to the size of the patch and what it covers if Bethesda had done this much sooner rather than focus on other priorities (even if it delayed Shattered Space since it doesn't have a release date anyway) and if they did not keep misrepresenting what these patches will provide. I believe these misrepresentation are completely unintentional, but they still hurt the narrative of their transparency and support.
I greatly appreciate your fairness and efforts to help explain delays given some of the realities of the industry despite what players hope/think will be done in "no time at all". Good advice to Bethesda on how to be informative instead of just putting out vague statements that don't convey what's going on.
One thing I hope that they smooth out in the future is the camera look and aim sensitivity acceleration in first and especially third person. It's very jerky still. 😢
This is the February update. It's in beta for two weeks and going live to all players in early February. The next beta patch won't be until late February or early march.
Not saying this is the case for the bugs that haven't been fixed yet but one big reason a lot of bugs in games don't get fixed is because the programmers don't have a solid way to reproduce the problem. This is where officially submitting a bug report is critical as it will typically involve prompting the user to submit all of the necessary information to troubleshoot, fix and verify if the bug is gone after said fix. Some issues also have multiple causes, so fixing one cause is sometimes doesn't stop the problem from happening again. On the flip side, a good QA team will be looking for the "biggest" and most impacting issues and try reproducing the problem themselves to help expedite the fixing process. However, even the best QA teams won't be able to help if they can't reproduce the issue to push it up and thus why official bug reports are so important...
They are likely holding any "features" that aren't just bug fixes for the Shattered Space launch. I'm curious to see what direction they go with the DLC and will maybe reinstall when that launches.
If it's a single world with a good map I'll totally install. If it's in the middle of procedurally wastelands in abandon copy paste dungeons I'll pass.
1st: they fixed "incorrectly" invisible creatures. there are still invisible creatures, but there were some that were invisible that weren't supposed to be. And 2nd: What disappoints me is that with the whole "every six weeks" thing, that means we have at least two more months before getting the CK. That will make this the longest wait between launch and CK that Bethesda has done yet.
Forget bugs, the overall structure of the game is dull. I put over a hundred hours in SF, hoping against hope the game would get more interesting, but I found myself impatient with dull quests, dull dialogue, and an overall sense that playing was a chore more than an adventure. I'll check back in a year or so for total conversion mods. Until then, I'll be playing Fallout London.
It's all worth it for me when I grind to lvl 151, kill a lvl 100 boss, on very hard difficulty, and jump for joy by being rewarded a Rescue Axe, or a naval cutlass. Just imagine how exciting it gets!! I've also realised something about weapons like the Demoralising Ripshank.... The Demoralising is aimed at the player, not the NPC!!
Bethesda has horribly fallen behind the rest if the industry since the beginning of the PS4/XB One days. I feel like even Fallout 4 was a let down not just Fallout 76.
😂 dude when I first encountered it I was in the Wolf System. I noticed it at a far distance behind my ship, it was so far I couldn't make out what it was. At the angle I was looking at it, it seemed as if it was above one of the planets. I assumed it was a station that wasnt showing up on my scanner, my dummy self thought I found something. I spent a good hour and a half trying to fly closer to it. After no luck I decided to take to the internet and see if any hidden stations were in the Wolf System, nothing came up. Then I remembered seeing others in the past talk about pet asteroids. I thought to myself "I hope its not" so I went into photo mode and got close enough for the asteroid to load in a bit better and when it did I couldn't help but feel defeat 😢
So, every 6wks, F4 and Diver Dan have more players now......how many will still be around by the time the vaunted dlc and creation club fall I wonder?..
i must be one of the few people that has not encountered a single game breaking bug. got 270 hours of playtime. it hasn't even crashed. yea sometime enemies get stuck in a wall, but that isn't nothing to cry about. the only really bad thing i encountered was a visual bug, when all the NPC shadow tuned into black boxes. all i had to do was look the issue up, and i just had to deled the shader cache
Their failure to fix Divided Loyalties is glaring. It’s a fundamentally gamebreaking bug, and still not even a recognition of it. I suspect they simply don’t know how to fix it.
You said that Bethesda were never going to fix all of these things, thats not how they work. Why not? Thats a serious question. I know you used to work there, but just step back for a second and look at what that says about company culture. Does that mean that they are incapable of seeing or admitting there are problems? Does that mean that they (as a company) don't take enough pride in their work to want to make it right? I love BGS games, and I love the studio, but they have become worse than the DMV. The fact that they are touting this patch as a Major Accomplishment is kind of sad.
Many of us knew after the release of the game the DEVs would be taking a break. They have done this for every one of their games. We also knew the DEVs would be taking a break during the holidays. They do this every year. Instead of stating the obvious and being transparent with their costumers they went with the “biggest update yet” public relations statement knowing people would actually expect big changes and knowing they were not going to deliver again. This company has no credibility. Here is some hard truth. This company has no track record of being able to release a patch every six weeks. That was a PR statement. Expect to be underwhelmed every six weeks by what other studios would call a hot fix and Bethesda will call a full patch.
I really hope Bethesda start to do actual ‘quality of life’ improvements / updates every 6 weeks 🙏 - & not just bug fixes every 6 weeks.. 😅 BGS should be doing ongoing bug fixes in addition!
Hexworks only has 75 people and they are constantly working on Lords of the Fallen with small updates while also giving new bosses, weapons, armor sets FOR FREE. Bethesda is not even trying.
It blows my mind they still haven't fixed the ship shield bug. If you get it, an entire section of the game becomes unplayable. Shouldn't fixing that be a priority? I have eventually experienced it on every save file and NG+ playthrough I've done.
I think bug fixes are paramount right now. Before anything is added we need to make it playable. Nothing more frustrating then getting into a mission and fully immersing yourself in its story just to have your progress blocked by a door that won’t open and an essential character being unavailable do to that.
Bethesda said after the release of Starfield they are going to release a series of updates focusing completely on fixes and then eventually will move on to content updates.
"The Biggest Update, ever!" for Bethesda means, "It's almost a title someone else MIGHT consider releasing one day! Oh, here is a map like every other game".
Bethesda is a company that owns several other studios besides their own. There is absolutely zero reason they can't have multiple teams working on multiple projects.
Well, this is where Outer Worlds 2 should come in and create what Starfield couldn't. Obsidian vowed to improve where the first game fell short. It has potential.
There is no good faith. Starfield was released seemingly lacking and unfinished and bugged out. Now they put out more big fixes 6 months later? Are gamers just going to keep paying for crap released games? 😔😞😭
They're too large to hear the things we want most, and too corpo to care about how things like formID is screwed, until it directly affects their Creations push (which it may not for quite awhile). This isn't the same Bethesda most of us loved. This isn't even the same Bethesda that released Fallout 76.
Tbh, you’re probably the only voice I trust on Starfield news nowadays. Most other channels are so far extreme on either defending or hating BGS. I appreciate you working so hard to be fair in your reporting and in getting your vids out. Now, go get some rest!
Also Bethesda didn’t lie. This is the biggest update for starfield yet. They’ve only released one other update and it was tiny. So the bar wasn’t all that high and all the features are promised in future updates it didn’t say this one specifically. It’s only frustrating if you don’t realize they use language very specifically.
It's super frustrating. It shouldn't be where some people have issues and some don't all willy nilly. Game breaking bugs need to be fixed. Thank God for game pass. Never paid for the game yet. Lost interest.
@@GSXR750ization I don't think it's a per player number, but the game earns on how many have played it and for how long. That information is between the game and Microsoft.

@@LoneVaultWanderer Yep, considering a few of other games implemented FSR 3 already as well
I like how Settlement Building is suddenly a feature everyone liked in Fallout 4. Yeah nobody remembers people shitting on that🙄
I've personally always enjoyed the settlement building but it seemed out of place, forced, and clunky.
Ever heard of something being so bad that previous iterations look good (and are good) in comparison? Starfield is trash tier and anyone defending this game has 0 taste or standard. Or rather, anyone who defends this game is precisely the target audience.
I appreciate the privacy.
Let a man do his business in private!
The same incompetence Bethesda showed some months after Fallout76 was released
Patching rare bugs, yeah, really useful. I don't play anymore, I went back to fo76.
And Bethesda couldn't care leas because you're still playing their online game. Good pet.
People need to stop buying broken games. Simple as that
Lets be honest guys, this might take three years to get fix or until some courageous modder will mend this game. Ill see you in three years guys. 😢

I wish I had waited a few years. I went to Skyrim years after Fallout 4 came out.
Dude, BG3 was in early access for 3 years compared to 1 week for Starfield.
Larian has more people working on Baldur's Gate 3 than Bethesda does on Starfield. Baldur's Gate 3 is absolutely AAA
I have no interest in playing this game ever again. Unless they add vehicles and make space travel engaging. I don’t think mods can save this one.

You love starfield? You might want to go get you brain checked
@SecksyMan Why? It is a good game. Many people like it. Just because it's not perfect doesn't mean there isn't anything enjoyable within the game.
Just wait for the creation kit so the modders can update the big community patch. These clowns aren't fixing anything.
it has good graphics and music, and cool ship customization system. Name anything else that's good about it.@@Joseph-wh5of
@deergreen1997 Honestly, you're probably right.

Glad its hopefully getting taken care of.
that is just crazy
How is that even possible?
They have fixed it
So….moral of story is not to buy video games on release, at least AAA, and wait about 2 years after release to buy.
How do you know if Todd Howard is lying?
If he's still alive. Not sure it will end there either...
So. Did NOT fix my missing outpost glitch. Joy.
@@MrTehru the game itself was developed over something like 10 years with 400 people AND pulled in most of Bethesda's other teams for a few years, most of these people can't do the same stuff, and you don't want them all messing with the same core functions simultaneously, they could easily create as many problems as they solve doing things that way, but more importantly they would be taking over for other people, effectively starting from scratch a half finished project without knowing where it was stopped.
thank you for the support mate
this isnt slow at all. normally after a game releases a large part of staff goes on vacation and then they come back and since it was close to Christmas it makes sense this way. cyberpunk took 2 years to get it fully fixed

Describing fixes for quest breaking bugs as "Quality of Life fixes" is...pretty accurate I suppose. ;-)
here is the problem, bethesda chose to do quality of life improvement's over the major fixes, meaning they did the bear minimum of fixes, i want them to prioritize what is more important first, then they can worry about stupid shit like lighting and texture nonsense.
if your product is a shitty product and you just polished it it's still shit with some polish on it, so instead of working on it's polish like the stupid moon shadows or the lighting in the game, work on the broken ass shit that is causing people to hate the game.
that shit can always be fixed later.
I think this is the sort of patch you expect at the 2 month point, not at the 4.5 month point. If they keep patching and don't stop until it's done, that would be acceptable at least.
i see what you mean
I felt and thought the same. After release it seemed like a skeleton crew was replying to comments and trying to fix bugs and gltiches.
You spent 250hrs on the game knowing these issues and yet you still played it. The actual fuck !

Thank you for beta-testing this game so that when I buy it next year it will be running smoothly! Much appreciated, guys.
I fixed Starfield by Modding Skyrim
The only reason I’m coming back to Starfield is because of a bunch of survival mode mods that I downloaded. They really should’ve just had it in the base game after seeing the reception it had in Fo4. It actually makes traveling somewhat interesting because you have to manage your resources and make outposts.
Yep, because currently the outposts are kind of pointless except for xp and credit farming.
At this point, I'm considering Starfield a financial loss. I played it for a few hours & am not planning on going back any time soon.
6-week support cycle starts in February. HOPEFULLY that is when ACTUAL features start to show up.
Let’s not forget, Bethesda is a small indie studio that only gets funds from Todd Howard’s chess club winnings.
I feel like the only way for them to “fix” starfield is to release the creation kit, so we can do it ourselves
Seriously, the asteroid follower had me confused for a long time. I was wondering if it was some sort of communications beacon or something.
Uninstalled Starfield yesterday...
A space game without space sim mechanics isn't a space game.
Of course it's their biiiiiggesst "update" They've NEVER done it before. "Fix" THEIR games. The first line written was their "biggest update" to date.
Can I still hack the treasure chests to make easy money? lol
As in, in this update, they were never gonna fix absolutely every issue people were still having
@@LoneVaultWanderer That is totally fair.
"I understand your frustration" 😂 That's when you know, nothing is ever going to be done about it.
If Bethesda don't even want you to finish their game, take the hint. ;)
I really hope Bethesda start to do actual ‘quality of life’ improvements / updates every 6 weeks 🙏 - & not just bug fixes every 6 weeks.. 😅 BGS should be doing ongoing bug fixes in addition!

It blows my mind they still haven't fixed the ship shield bug. If you get it, an entire section of the game becomes unplayable. Shouldn't fixing that be a priority? I have eventually experienced it on every save file and NG+ playthrough I've done.
You know why you deserve it? Because you still trust them despite you were deceived by their blatant lies over and over again.
