Really love the creativity of this video. I know it's a "Beat game with one weapon" video, but Pew Pew is one of the few weapons many player forget because of needing the star caps yet is really cool when used. Not only that, but I gotta appreciate the intro, since I can a few chuckles out of me. Overall really cool video! Also 2 things: 1.) If you had the caps, you could've bought an upgrade for the suite in the Lucky 38 where you could've bought your own Sunset Sarsaparilla Vending Machine, which could be a requirement for anyone attempting the challenge. 2.) I know the challenge of only drinking Sunsets was ruined by the canteen, but maybe we can just say the it's water mixed with small amounts of soda because FNV would be the one to make a new Sunset flavor be water.
I honestly forgot about the suite having that as an upgrade option. My last proper playthrough of the game was ages ago prior to this one. In hindsight it would have been a fitting spot to store excess Sarasparilla but the Pack Rat Perk made it somewhat redundant by halving the weights of smaller items.
Another great video on a favorite game of mine! Happy to see the Pew Pew getting some love, especially since its one of my favorite unique weapons to grab playing an energy character. As tedious as it is to get it normally, I usually just kill any character I know has star caps on them and then visiting some of the easier spots to find them, though I understand the redundancy and difficulty of running around without a weapon to grab them. That being said, there is at least a decent supply of Sarsaparilla in Goodsprings provided you're willing to steal from the crates around the General Store, remember to grab the vending machine by Ringo's gas station, and might want to spend a few extra caps to grab some from Trudy This did remind me of Fallout 3s obsession with Nuka Cola, to the point there's a museum for it, multiple quests for it, and even an upgrade for your home in Megaton to chill your drink before consuming it. If you ever wanted to do another soda themed Fallout run threes a great one to try out Anywho, amazing video again! Love the humor, animation, and production quality! Keep it up!
First time watching one of your videos, loved the intro, loved your avatar. The fact that i saw a bag belonging to Malcolm Holmes in your inventory, a hint of things to come in this Pew pew challenge. I always kill him and Oliver in every run. Great work on the video.
