The train on display in Come By Chance was built by Dan Benson. He worked with the railway. He was interviewed in Wade Kearley's book "The People's Road".. Wade Kearley walked across the railbed in 1993 from PAB to St. John's. I don't know if the train is still in Come By chance or it was turned over to Mr. Benson's family after he passed away.
We got hoodwinked trading the railway for a divided TCH from St. John's to Whitbourne. We should have had that anyway as a national standard.

I love how they kept running mixed trains after the official passenger service ended.
