I’ve started to use color pencils for sketching because graphite smudges in a way that makes it look dirty no matter how careful I try to be. Color pencils smidge too but not in the same way
FINALLY an art tutorial that isn’t “first sketch then draw the eyes mouth nose and hair like this this this and this and basically also shade it and done” and ACTUALLY EXPLAINS how to draw it

Idk if it's even gonna help someone but when it's your first try it doesn't have to be perfect you have to practice hard and hard if it's not that good just notice your mistakes and make sure to correct them.

How long she took doesn't really matter if you're trying to estimate how long it'd take for you you might learn faster or even slower so it doesn't really matter just start you'll see results if you put in the work. I'd say if you know the basics such as line quality and all you can try studying the Loomis head method and knowing how each part is proportioned and then you move on to the practicing how to draw a good eye,nose etc. and if you have enough time you can combine learning each in a day if you want but I'd suggest not rushing it and you'd also need to learn the basics of shading/basic shading techniques
