@abrahamanthony7106 Yes. It's simulated very well. If you yank the collective up for a quick takeoff you absolutely have to compensate for the torque of the main rotor
First thing I do after turning the battery on is turn off the low rpm horn audio (switch near the fuel switches). Of course don't forget to turn it back on when you power up the throttle to flight idle.
In the real Huey, the switches turn back on automatically when you have enough rpm. This is not like that in this one? At least it works like that in DCS.

Hi Av-thanks for great tutorial. You mentioned you were using a alpha yoke which is what Ive got along with a bravo throttle quadrant. What would you have been using to control the collective & the throttle for this helicoptor flying?
It’s a remarkable way to land without hovering, just from the horizontal flight with nose up , collective up, accelerator down. Check out Predator movie first minute. A “must have” skill for any helo pilot.
It would figure they released it while i was traveling for the expo. LOL. Now I gotta wait till payday to pick it up. So here I am, getting your thoughts on it!

I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong but everytime I start up the Huey in the right order I always get a chip detector warning and after a few minutes the fuel switch turns off and causes me to lose rpm and crash
"not very proficient" LOL. New to your channel, I was thinking "I wonder if she can fly helis?" Nice job! I bought it yesterday and saw this today. Really nice to see this outside of DCS. Just too bad, as you said, we can't load the M60s but that wouldn't go over so well on a civilian Huey, haha.
It’s better. I find the DCS Huey to be too ‘fuselage twitchy’ to control inputs. This one has a better sense of weight and inertia. It also has a more appropriate VRS and RBS implementation.
@@Belatu42 I wonder how the ground effect is - I only ever tried the two stock helos in FS since they were released and even though I made sure I got the advanced FM selected and no assists on, I never could witness any kind of ground effect modelled. Basically, when picking up very slowly leaving the collective at the point where it just starts to lift off, it will just keep climbing and the other way round, when slowly descending in a hover, there literally is no HIGE cushion effect coming up at all, it just keeps descending until it hits the ground. After having flown helos in DCS that behaviour is literally unacceptable for me, regardless of how well other facettes of the FM are simulated. The ground effect thing is absolutely vital. And I wish FS had it, even though Asobo always claimed to have it modelled. Can't speak for the Huey here though, haven't bought and tried it.
@@CakePrincessCelestia ground effect is there in MSFS. It may not be perfect, but it’s modeled.
