I was doing this today and it would help considerably if the "Check adjusted settings" dialog displayed the current (actual) pen pressure while you were testing it. It would help a lot to see just what it thinks the pressure is while testing to know how best to adjust the curve.
I just downloaded a brush from clip studio assets and it was really heavy to use I had to put so much pressure for it to work. This video is so useful and right on time 🥰
When I tick the pen pressure box, it still acts like I’m not using it, it even shows on the image of the pen that it’s meant to be thinner from less pressure but it doesn’t work and I don’t know why, the pen works on other programs
i don't know if that still happen to u or if you already fixed it, but try to download the latest driver of your tablet it happened to me and i do that, and worked c:
This is why I’m staying with CSP. I needed to know how to do exactly this and BAM, simple easy and official tutorial on how to do this. Didn’t have to go through forums, google searches or Reddit post. Worth the few dollars a month to me.
I adjust pen pressure on my brushes almost every time i use them but i did not know you can drag those points lmao i thought you can only adjust the curve
So i just bought a new display tablet and i keep having problem because pen pressure is not properly showing up and this kinda help me in showing the adjust pen pressure option and i went and switch from wintab tablet to tablet pc and it work thank you!
I did this with my Huion HS611 but try as I might I couldn't get it to work - the brush sizes remained constant. However I discovered if you install the earlier version driver for the tablet, *then* it will work as you describe. Avoid the October 2021 driver.
I currently find myself in troubleshooting hell where I'm perpetually iterating between my CSP pen sensitivity settings and my XP-Pen sensitivity settings. But I know that if I get this right I'll be able to figure it out quicker in the future for future tablets and it'll improve my experience.
I didn't know you have to activate the pen pressure on all tools . there should be a button to apply the pen pressure to all tools . no wonder why everytime i tried coloring with the goache brush , it didn't have that thin think thin effect .
I've installed CSP today and in all my other drawing apps the pressure works fine, just clip studio doesn't work.... I was testing to see if I get the sale thats happening, but without the pressure I'll have to pass....
I've had this issue for a while now: whenever I go to adjust pen pressure, the Adjust Pen Pressure option is greyed out. How can I fix this? Help is greatly appreciated, thank you!!
I have the problem, that the pressure sensitivity does not work some times. Even if I click the box, and I selectet pc Tablet in the preferences. It works when im using the testing option in the driver of the Tablet ( Im using the Huion kamvas pro 13). But some times it works even in Csp.
You get fixed? installed here today and in all my other drawing apps works fine, just clip studio doesn't work.... I was testing to see if I get the sale thats happening, but without the pressure I'll have to pass....
@777:what about the pen calibration, mine is so sensitive that it doesn't even need to touch the screen to draw, like the screen literally detects it from 4 santi-meters away, how can I fix that?? 😭😭 I can't start drawing 😭😭😭
I'm no expert but try checking if windows ink is turned on or not, the 2 tablet software I've used had a button on there but you can get there though your pc settings and try checking your pen pressure in the tablet software and csp settings menu and setting for each brush. Hope this helps.
My brush will not register pen preshure no matter wjat what I do, ive changed done just about everything even resetting all of my brushes to default and nothings working
minimum value was for some reason set on a high to me i dont know why i never noticed it because its hidden but i had it as a problem for a long time and now i putted it on a 0 and i can finally do the pen pressure right jesus christ and on every pencil is set up on a high u have to set it urself on a 0 and also i do not know why every pen if u dont press hard the color looks transperent
Hello Clip Studio Paint, how do you delete the little blue squares in the brush size dynamics? I have tried pressing delete on keyboard after I click on them but that doesn't delete them, then I tried right clicking on them and it didn't bring up a menu to delete them. Can you someone let me know how to delete these?
@@_-9087 Hello again. Do you know what setting menu I need to go to stop a pencil brush from doing a lighter colour when I use a lighter pressure force on the stylus? If I just turn pen pressure off then I wont be able to taper pencil strokes, I just want it to have the same darkness but control how thick or thin the stroke becomes.
@@ines8228 hey, I managed to fix it, the problem was about the controller app of the tablet, and a problem with windows ink, I just deactivated it completely, you can try
My pen pressure won't work, ive checked my tablet and my Clip studio paint pressure settings but im at a loss.. Ive tried adjusting things on CSP but did nothing.
I need a talking human to go through, step by step, and show what you're clicking on from the very beginning. It appears to me that you've already opened the tool window that allows you to manipulate your pen/brush pressure settings. But I don't know WHAT or WHERE or HOW you opened that window. I don't see any icons anywhere in my CSP workspace or dashboard where I can adjust my brush/pen pressure settings. So watching you do what I can't or don't know how to do what you're doing is like watching an astronaut make a space walk and then tell me over the radio to do the same thing. LOL!
I was doing this today and it would help considerably if the "Check adjusted settings" dialog displayed the current (actual) pen pressure while you were testing it. It would help a lot to see just what it thinks the pressure is while testing to know how best to adjust the curve.
I was literally sobbing over this thank you so much for helping me

Mine too

it happened to me and i do that, and worked c:
try go to file>preferences>tablet then under "using tablet settings" toggle between wintab and pc tablet
Put minimum of pen pressure value up a bit from zero to 20%.
I like how you still get "shoelaces" in the strokes even in the original video by CSP :D
This is why I’m staying with CSP. I needed to know how to do exactly this and BAM, simple easy and official tutorial on how to do this. Didn’t have to go through forums, google searches or Reddit post. Worth the few dollars a month to me.
Thank you for this! I'm gonna try this out right now. This also kind of almost demystifies brush making for me in a way. Very cool.
Thank you It just work out for me! You have to select tablet pc in pen pressure (select the l'une une et the graphic) and then apply
I adjust pen pressure on my brushes almost every time i use them but i did not know you can drag those points lmao i thought you can only adjust the curve

Messing with the graph but im still not getting the thin to thick to thin effect
bruh, where do I get that stroke size image you are using ?
Gpen tends to be too thin with pen pressure, so set minimum value up a bit from zero.
I just transitioned from Photoshop and was wondering why my brushes feel off - this was it. Thank you very much! RIP Adobe, btw.
No matter what I can’t get it perfect and everything feels a bit stiff. Any tips?
The GOAT music is back, baby! 🙌
What do I do if the pen pressure has stopped working altogether? Even with the video the pen pressure setting does nothing to change it.
I didn't know you have to activate the pen pressure on all tools . there should be a button to apply the pen pressure to all tools . no wonder why everytime i tried coloring with the goache brush , it didn't have that thin think thin effect .
thanks for the info now I can try smoothing my line more, also what's the music called?

Hello Clip Studio Paint, how do you delete the little blue squares in the brush size dynamics?
I have tried pressing delete on keyboard after I click on them but that doesn't delete them, then I tried right clicking on them and it didn't bring up a menu to delete them.

Drag the blue dot outside of the box of effect grid to remove it.
