like you, i have my own shop. just 1 lift and me. so happy this way. I tell you I found that having a pressure washer and a leaf blower really makes the work much cleaner. I save a lot on brake cleaner using the pressure washer. it also is nicer working on a clean engine. also using a pressure washer on brakes before i work, it is very effective and I save on brake cleaner.

I tend to pressure wash before I start on the job as well and after I really just don’t show it on video too often because some people think pressure washing your engine or certain car areas is bad And I wouldn’t wanna deal with 500 comments about how I did something wrong😂 … this brake cleaner method lasts me a long time if you’re like me, it’ll last you a year or two.

@@TheEnthusiastMechanic yea, i can imagine people talking crp. here in FL it really helps me cool the eng down to work on it. I watch your vid on the parts supply problem and I can relate. i am so sick of not being able to get simple things like rotors! 29 years as a Mercedes tech and I never seen it like this. Also the people are getting bad.

@@narcissistinjurygiver2932 it’s getting to be that way everywhere although I must say I am kind of jealous that you’re in Florida. I wanted to make a move out there. I’m sick and tired of the cold weather up here in Chicago.

@@TheEnthusiastMechanic FL kinda sucks now. So many people moved here that the traffic and rent is horrible. the people are not great also. I just built a shop in TN. 1500sq ft. with 2 lifts. I will retire soon. Plan to learn paint and body and restore cars. I would want to get away from Chicago as well. thing is I work in 97f 90% humidity all day. It is tough. If you move I would suggest you consider somewhere else like TN or around that area. If you can get some land it is cheap to build a steel building. You may want to stock up on oil.

I wouldn’t mind the heat. I know that Florida is getting crowded and expensive but it’s just so beautiful out there. I’ve been a Chicago person my whole life so Florida is a wonderland. I know Tennessee is nice too but eventually, everyone’s gonna wanna move there as well, it’s pretty much the same almost anywhere you go nowadays.
