Would like a deeper dive into linking to other apps in the Apple eco system (Reminders, Calendar, Notes, etc) to build things task management routines, research notes...
Awesome! I just started mind mapping on freeform and appreciate the tips! I didn't realize holding the shape would create a perfect shape. Do you know how to group items together so they're always grouped? For example the handwritten text on the note.
🐬Great video. By the way, with the smoothed out shapes you drew with the Apple Pencil, is it possible to fill them with colour? I could change the colour of the lines making up the circles/boxes I drew, but I cannot see how to fill them with colour.
Great video on the features of FreeForm and what it can do. However, I have never been able to really understand the "why" of the app. What is it good for? What are its uses?
🐬 The auto-connectors is really useful. I didn't know they've added the maths solve function into Freeform either. I need to give it a try. Really useful.
🐬GREAT Video! 👏🏼 I started using Freeform recently and didn't know about many things. Are the UA-cam video thumbnails clickable with hyperlinks if exported in a PDF?
I think I can't properly use freeform in its state. I love concepts for my endless canvas app. They ignore the potential of this app, but I am hopeful for it. Look at where Apple notes is now 😊
To be honest Freeform was the initial reason why I decided to switch to Mac, but in the end I`ve discovered it lacks in features, compared to industry standard like Miro. The only advantage is offline mode.
@@TekkitsWorkshop this is exactly the problem with these kind of stock apps. Same goes for Microsoft or Google. The first bought Whiteboards, but after that development and integration are very slow. The latter had Jamboard that was nicely integrated with Workspace, but of course they had to kill it… probably because the initial business case included dedicated hardware sales.
Very good video explaining what can be done with FreeForm. However, I still struggle to see who this aimed at, as a drawing tool it is short on features compared to OmniGraffle and as a collaboration whiteboard tool (something you didn’t cover) it is a long way off tools like Miro
@@MrInFlight True dat… Research, Mind-mapping, Presentation, Studying and then some. Just like its infinite canvas, the possibilities are really endless with this app.
The current method of grouping a post it note and your writing on that post it turned me off to using it. Most apps like this allow you to draw a circle with the spiral select tool and then tap in the center and select group.
Many functionalities and versatility, but I still don't see the sense in it, can you give an example of a task you want to perform and you decide for Freeform as the best option to achieve it?
This app appears intimidating due to its extensive capabilities, which may deter users from investing time in learning its intricacies and maximizing its potential.
It needs a lot of new features to make this tool my creative choice. Apple is very slow in developing its productivity apps like Pages, Number, KeyNote and Freeform. I sometimes find that a shame. They make billions of dollars so they should invest a bit more in these kinds of apps.
We need integration between notes, freeform, reminders, and calendar. Allow us to add "blocks" from other apps and I'm all in.
Great ideas!! I need an iPad to utilize Freeform seems like it’s mostly designed for iPad rather the iPhone or Mac
Apple needs to add folders in Freeform so that you can organise all the files
Also search would be great too

I’m interested in seeing Freeform create a knowledge graph from my apple notes
Im shocked there is no way to organize boards into different groups or folders....
I use Freeform quite a bit. It’s great for story boarding
I am so glad I stumbled on this channel. I learn so much about free form.

Thank you, this helps tremendously.

Not putting dark mode on Freeform is insane
🐬 first time watching you! thank you so much! perfect video
🐬 Thank you very useful. I just bought a Mac mini and I was wondering if I can do all this just with a Magic Mouse?
Great video on the features of FreeForm and what it can do. However, I have never been able to really understand the "why" of the app. What is it good for? What are its uses?
Thank you.
🐬 Another great tutorial, thx fernando
Great vid! Got some great ideas on how to return to using Freeform 🐬
🐬 Useful and well explained as always! Thank you!

🐬That was informative.
I need the handwriting tidying feature which is in Notes 😭 bring it to Freeform!!

some features are not available in Europe yet unfortunately. Eventhough you havr the latest ipad pro
I never really use the app but I can see maybe using it now for maybe a vision board. 🤔

For some reason my iPad heats up when I use freeform, I think after the latest os updates.

To be honest - I just dont see a use case for this app. What type of content would you actually use this to crease? I dont get it I’m afraid 🤷♂️
It’s a great app for brainstorming
🐬 Good video
Any macros or third party plugins for Freeform?
Would like a full tutorial that covers the mindmaps feature only
I love freeform
Can upload a PDF and mark it up and print it. 8.5 X11 I mark up PDF and would like to print from it.
Please respond with your answer

a really useful video! Gonna use freeform more 😂
Thank you. It’s a good video, but it would be great if you slowed down. Your talking speed make my brain get lost quickly.
You can slow UA-cam video playback down. Google how to do it.
iPad STILL need Journal
@@666Valo777 yes , it does
Why do you never never give a actual example rather than just plopping things here and there but that seems to be the pattern

Anyone figured out how to create templates or import templates into Freeform ?
This could of been like figjam but they don’t let people share board editable links

Love this app but can't use it until they add dark mode.
i 100% agree. I really want dark mode

One reason to not use Apple’s own apps: interoperability. Love to use macOS, iOS and iPadOS, but always very aware of vendor lock-in.
Notoriety = famous for being bad.
This channel might gain some notoriety for its misuse of the English language.
