This is great! I love how realistic you made Gordon, he looks more like an A0 or A3, which ever you prefer and the OO9 models look fantastic too. And Matt Cooper's narration is spot on.
I enjoyed watching the story come to life before my eyes. I certainly wasn't expecting the bit at the end with the Thin Controller. I'm glad to have been a part of this.
I still love these. I can just keep watching them over and over like I have done for about 5 years. The story, the sets, the rolling stock. This is actually one of the reason why I changed from 00 to 009. I even made my own Peter Sam using yours as a basis.
I really gotta admit you got everything working in this series so far! Well done! At least you got P.S.'s color right! Plus, you made S.H.'s happy face look SO CUTE!!! Reminds me of my pug! Unless I'm mistaken, would that black shape in 8:29-8:33 be... Diesel?
I am speechless. I can't even start picking my favorite bit of the episode. the models were surbrubly made (Gondon's in particular). 20/10, absolutly brilliant!
I have said it before and I shall say it again. Whenever I see I video from you I know I will enjoy it. This was fantastic I like how you mixed the two stories and also threw in your own twist as well! The sets where fantastic as well. Also Matt's narration was superb! Great job Adam!
great work, it was worth the wait! i must ask you were you got the chassis for your engines? was thinking about making some 009 Skarloey models and can't seem to find the right chassis for them.
this is fantasic... although its not the first time ive watched this it is really exellent video engines, voices, narration and the video its self wee done
I really don't see anything that could be improved. This episode is perfect. It has that laid-back tone that makes for a smooth and meaningful story. Excellent work. :)
this is beautiful, right now I am giving the missing in action communitychannel a spin but I will have your video up on my channel next thanks for your detailed PM, right now it's nice to know I have some good old friends on these networks
Did you get the station sound for trainz because thats what the stations sound like aswell also this is an excellent first episode and another thing sir Haydn wasnt sir Handel why was that
@DarthWill3 When the story unfolds, the series spans over a period of time. Rusty and Duncan wont be in it for a while as they arrived in 1958, episode 1 is 1951. Duke wont appear at all as Im stopping In 1965, from then Ill be going back into time before preservation and the series will be purely about Skarloey and Rheneas, then I'm done! :P
brilliant that's the only word i can find to describe this the voices just seem right the smoke effects are incredibly well done and all in all it just seems for lack of a better word right the atmosphere is spot on although one small nitpick is that some of the goods trains seem over length for such a line if that makes sense?
Remarkable start of the series with a very well written episode, based on one or two stories from Four Little Engines book by Wilbert. :) Plus a really hilarious ending, poor mr. percival! :P 5/5 Dan5589
@godred01 Because I suck and I still havent plopped it on, I found it easier to change the position of the driver in sacrfice of keeping the shots low if Im honest :P Since the next episode is about him, Im going to have to put it on for then so!
brilliant! just brilliant the models, the scenery, the photos of the acctual line at the beggining could you give any pionters to a first time 009 guy im doing a narrow gauge layout but in two shoeboxes put together only a small side project from my 00 gauge stuff
@evafan002 Cheers, although I can assure you every aspect about this video is accurate to positioning and angle of the shed. The trains are no-where near over lengthed, nor will they ever be.
i love ur set bro im doing a crovans gate layout but based on the tv series but tugs style writing do u think its a gd idea i think it was but i thought id ask the people who wud know :)
@ajhdbsteam sorry i should have made myself clearer i meant that to my eyes the goods trains consist of a few too many wagons as i have always imagined such trains as being made up of a maximum of 4 or 5 wagons and maybe a coach. thats all
When I started watching this I thought hmm you sound like Caledonian812 but at the end I realized; oh of course he narrated it :) Beautiful models; I would even go as far to say they have much better detail than the original tv series models. Hell the Tv series models are pretty plain compared to these and only lighting really brought 'em out. In this these models win with or without professional lighting! :)
Duke arrived on the Skarloey Railway years after this story takes place, and the reason why Sir Handel is red is because the models are based off of how the real locos on their prototype railway are rendered. There's even a shot with Sir Handel's nameplate saying "Sir Haydn", who was on e of the many people who worked on the prototype railway, a.k.a the Talyllyn Railway. Do your research, dumb-ass!!

Who’s here in 2023 missing HenryBlue’s contributions to the community? And Matt Cooper for that matter!
Me too; HenryBlue's stuff is an absolute nostalgia fest. These three episodes in particular are so cozy and down to earth
I really gotta admit you got everything working in this series so far! Well done!
At least you got P.S.'s color right!

Simply wonderful! I'm at a loss for words! I especially love Gordon's model!
This so EPIC!!!! The models are the BEST. The sets are AWESOME. And all the rolling stock. THeface masks are also Epic!
I am speechless. I can't even start picking my favorite bit of the episode. the models were surbrubly made (Gondon's in particular). 20/10, absolutly brilliant!
It's great to finally see this episode come to fruition. Well done Henryblue. I enjoyed this enormously! The narrating was good too.
Yes. This has been well worth the wait. One of the most original fan series in a long time :D
@HenryBlueProductions Yeah, I can see your point there.
By the way, when do we get to see Skarloey, Rhenaes, Rusty, Duncan, and Duke?
I don't know what to say. I am very impressed with this. You created a masterpiece :D.
I have said it before and I shall say it again. Whenever I see I video from you I know I will enjoy it. This was fantastic I like how you mixed the two stories and also threw in your own twist as well! The sets where fantastic as well. Also Matt's narration was superb! Great job Adam!

Well done, a few shots looked liked real life!
XD at the tag scene!
Could you please tell me where you got your kits or models to make this?
You have so much detail for the Skarleoy Railway set.
ok, it's up now
i love your engines and your effects.

Very nice! I like the cues that you've taken from the original stories' illustrations!
i've been looking everywhere for this
Did you get the station sound for trainz because thats what the stations sound like aswell also this is an excellent first episode and another thing sir Haydn wasnt sir Handel why was that
Delicious OO9 and glorious special effects
Great Job whens the next episode coming out?

wow, great job! the models are very nice too, it looks like a few of the models were repainted, were they?
what chassis did you use?
wow were did you buy them
That was the best 10:49 minutes of my life
@evafan002 Cheers, although I can assure you every aspect about this video is accurate to positioning and angle of the shed. The trains are no-where near over lengthed, nor will they ever be.
Had I not been a member of the forums, I never would've known about this. Will you ever be changing Peter Sam's coat of paint to match his RWS paint.
Are your models kits or are scratch- built. If they are kits were can I get them? Answer back soon!
Where did you get the engines?
i love ur set bro im doing a crovans gate layout but based on the tv series but tugs style writing do u think its a gd idea i think it was but i thought id ask the people who wud know :)
Make another video...I like these.
Cool, how come Peter Sam is missing his cab roof?
this is excellent, well done!
Watched it. Loved it.
You've just got yourself another subscriber!
very nicely made
this is awesome keep up the good work
Come back when you build models to that standard maybe?
HOW DO YOU MAKE THE STEAM!!!!!
brillant film. I like the peter sam model. my model of edward thomas is going to be at the 009 society stand.

i loved gordon what did you do to make him look more R.W.S. acurate.
wheres duke and sir handle was organically called falcon and peter Sam , Stuart and FALCON was blue
@Caledonian812 Good job on the narration man :)
How come Sir Handel is not painted blue, but Peter Sam is painted in his green livery?
good call mate
It's been 7 years, will this ever return?!?
North Western doubt it
This is great
@ajhdbsteam Oh, I see! Very nice!
