I've seen footage of the Tea Van, from 1967 with Edward Thomas hauling a "Mail Special", it also shows the original condition of carriage No.10 when it was open sided. It also shows the engine with the famous Giesl Ejector that some Thomas fans nickname "Peter Sam's Special Funnel" :)
Like I've been saying before, man. It's a lovely little series. The New camerawork is incredible. it makes everything look so much bigger then you'd think! The lighting just completes the set too! Great Music, narration, editing, what have you. I love it!
Wow. You took the refreshment lady's tea shop from season 7 to a TOTLR wagon is cool. Or did they have something like this in tom Rolt's Railway adventure? Otherwise this episode is so AWESOME!
Hi. Im planning to start a small 24inch 009 layout and would lik rheneas to run it. I no rheneas is a dohnloc (sorry for bad spelling) class and there are kits but they are expensive for a small project. So do you think if i bought a 0-4-0 chassis online and then a take n play body, do you think it would be a good fit/scale with the chassis? or too small? thanks and keep up the good work on this series
Cheers! The timeline matches the Talyllyn's so we could have a little more action in the lean years rather than having just No 3 & 4 running the line from 1951 - 1958. Realism, and history come first rather than following the same course as everyone else so the stories are written to gradually unfold the next, thus never ending. - The Talyllyn Railway's history does this and because Wilbert's stories depict a few of these occurances, I could probably get away with it. :P
Yoo no way I remember this video. Had no idea it still existed.
this is SO AWSOME. the narrow gauge engine rock. they kick ass

Brilliant story and excellent modelling. Well done.
Awesome! The series is so visually appealing, so with the great story adaptations it's impossible not to love.
Well done again!!!! The filming and modelling are superb!!!! I'm more impressed with each episode. Can't wait for more,
Cheers
Brilliant! You've done it again! I'm not sure what else to say, other than excellent job, and I can't wait for the next one! ;)
Well done!
But, the timeline so far doesn't match that of the Railway series; why is that, may I ask?

What scale is this layout in? I would imagine, because the engines are small, that it's in N scale?
