  • Skarloey used to pull lots of passengers, and misses them dearly now that other engines do his work. A new timetable might just help him out.

Hello all! Now, I know what you're going to say - a Skarloey Railway story is cheating. You'd be right, too, but we've had Trevor and Butch before, and the Mountain Railway - so I think that "Skarloey's Railway" fits nicely into my collection of mutinous uploads.
Particular thanks must go to Chris (TheKipperRunsAgain) who provided a wonderful narration for me to work with. It's always a pleasure to edit with lines that hit their marks at the first go; quite honestly - it makes the process rather easy!
Here's a tale that's lived in my head for a while, if not in narrative then in visuals and feelings. I've always loved the Skarloey books - I used to have them read to me by a parent when I was ill. Now, with a little help from some charming models, I hope to have paid tribute to what they were, in some small way. I am not Reverend W. Awdry by a long-shot, but I owe a lot to his stories.
I very much hope you enjoy,
    George
