I tried M+ Focus Assist once, but as shown in the footage, there are often times when your entire party is lighting up like a Christmas tree when nobody is in any actual danger. I also think having enemy ability CD's on the enemy nameplates helps consolidate information in fewer places. Instead of shifting your focus to the ability bar on your right and the DF dungeon icons popping up randomly, you can check the timers in a place you were already regularly looking (enemy nameplates). Clearcasting weakauras I've never used because clearcasting has never previously affected your decision-making in M+. The mana savings aren't worth your attention globals. I'm currently on the fence whether to track it in the current season M+ given the tier bonuses.

I’ve found that it can still be helpful in those scenarios - but that is something that is definitely a personal preference! So I totally understand your point of view on that. The enemy CDs on nameplates is a great WA for increasing awareness and I just started experimenting with it, but have not set it up to my liking yet to have included it in the video. However, this is a great suggestion with your reasoning! Clearcasting is completely optional but the reason I made it was because the built in UI feature, depending on the background of the dungeon (think Everbloom), can obscure the green on green bloom effect. With our tier set and running omen, I like to have a quick way to check to try to assess how many globals I would need to get the party back to being stable and safe.

@@estesthebestes For me it's Rogue main, Druid alter! I use Luxthos rogue specific auras. Rest of them you mentioned in your video. Assa is pretty good right now! In m+ maybe Outlaw is slightly better, but if you enjoy Assa it's a very good patch for him too. You're right, it could be a bit long-winded... but I kinda prefer it. You need to understand the basics to understand the talents, builds, rotations... etc. Maybe one day you could implement also a short version with a summary of everything for the rushers :D

Okie doke - so Dotty has been helping me restructure my healing and I am the dorky druid nerd making an appearance -- I can honestly tell you with his help my healing has taken on new levels - and I am now hitting numbers that I didn't think I was going to ever see in HPS -- I mess up etc but healing is now so much more fun -- Thank you so much for all you do !!!!
thank you for taking time to teach us and sharing. still a lot going on in your screen. i see you changing to dps a lot and seemingly hardly ever clicking over party member bars for heals, yet for the most part they stayed healed up. ive watched a handful of your videos to help myself learn better rotation. currently i am ilvl 477 and kinda afraid to run 16s and up. i use a razer tartarus v2 and a simple razer mouse. i dont even know how to type, so the tartarus is very helpful but i can only fit so many spells on the simple keypad it has. all that being said , you are a great teacher. i have your discord but havent posted yet.
This is a great comment, thanks for taking the time to write it out! There’s a couple things that I’ve become good at with a lot of practice. 1. Mouse flicking - I do heal quite a bit during the dungeon, BUT I am pretty efficient with my mouse movements so it may look like it is less time that it actually is. 2. Grove Guardian usage - I’m almost always getting close to 90+ % usage of all of my possible grove guardian charges. Make sure that you’re using them liberally as the only way to use them incorrectly is to NOT use them. Don’t hold them for a rainy day as you can just prevent the rain from coming most of the time. 3. Keybinding is super important to resto druids and I even struggle with having enough binds…and I have a LOT of binds. Having the setup to do is Tartarus/mmo mouse is big and should provide enough binds if you’re utilizing shift, ctrl, and Alt. You’ll get there and feel free to submit gameplay if you’d like some thoughts about your gameplay that are more specific to what is actually happening on screen.
You can free up a lot of binds by using the Clique addon. My left click is Rejuv, right click is Lifebloom, scroll wheel up is Cenarion Ward, scroll wheel down is Ironbark. They all function in a mouseover fashion. You can do countless button combinations for binds within that addon and I hardly use it to its full potential. In case you’re wondering how I left click and right click party members when I really need to, I bound that to alt + left click and alt + right click respectively. It doesn’t come up often when you are using mouseovers for everything.

Maybe an idea for a future vid which I think people may find useful. Would be a run with commentary for a given dungeon (commentary after ofc). This wouldnt be to explain the dungeon. But instead what you are doing leading up to a pull and what you do in the pull. What is the prep to known damage spikes on 1 player/2 or all the group - how a ramp is achieved and how to pay the ramp off. What is the reaction to the tank dipping and a random DPS where the dps is unexpected. Or when damage is unexpected but both light and heavy to just 1 player or many. This would be like your explanations that have gone before on the spells but the final vid on how it all comes together in a run. Apologies if you have done a vid like this already.
Yeah, I do plan on doing those things. In the resto Druid reviews I do get into these types of things. Please let me know if that is what you’re wanting or the type of content you enjoy!

As a new druid Im really hoping I can test these out and stuff like OmniCD in follower dungeons just to sort placement and how they work and then adjust any if needed. People saying follower dungens are only for people starting to play the game havent thoguht enough about them yet. I have been healing since TBC (priest) and I use the mouse pointer WA BUT I never even thought of putting a CD/Aura missing on the pointer....Thats a game changer.

The interrupt tracker is done via an addon called OmniCD which you can find on curseforge. If you are asking about how to get the cooldowns displayed on the screen as well next to their frame, OmniCD is also the solution to that!
I feel that. I’ve enjoyed playing monk in the past, though not as much in dragonflight - except for Mistweaver which is much more interesting than it was before. I don’t like what they did to WW in shadowlands after playing it a lot in BFA and I think WW is less fun now than it was even then sadly.
@@treebirdtv I think you'd be surprised how many people don't know that. And I'm a M+ healer and groups tend to base their search for members on lust and brez. I'm starting to get into the 18-22 range so it's not as bad now because at this level, players tend to know more about other classes. But finding a group from 2-15 was not fun as a monk, even though MW is in a great place right now

The Mark of the Wild Missing WA does not display when I am in a party by myself and doesn't appear to have a number attached to it (e.g. 0/1). Any advice?
Hmm. If you are in a party by yourself and you have already applied Mark of the Wild on yourself it should not display. However, I assume that you are asking this since it is not displaying when it should when you are in a party and missing mark of the wild. Without taking a look at the loading options I’m not sure how to fix that.

I do not use any particular addon to heal. I use the blizzard UI and mouseover macros combined with the WA MyRestoBuffs to display all the hots on a target.

@estesthebestes1370 that weak aura is incredibly helpful. Most druids don't realize buffs are down. I've had to request evoker buff hundreds of times in raid. Poster above is a monkey, please continue what you're doing.

They have mystic touch. Gives the entire raid 5% increased physical damage
