Great Video. Another thing to add to turn signals(indicators) that a lot of people don’t know is, that you can lightly tap it in either direction and it will only blink 3 times and will automatically cancel itself. It helps when you changing lanes
No you don't. I have the X6 f16, we lost internet capabilities. The extra functionality thru the app is now useless and no longer supported. There are class action suits against bmw over this. Plus...his isn't even an Msport or M.
Thank u very much for this helpful video, I have a problem that I can't find a solution for,The speedometer, radio light, and air conditioner buttons are white when there is good lighting, but when the lighting becomes low or when night falls, their color turns orange. How can I keep them white?
Also, get yourself Carly adapter and its app guys, it will unlock so many features e.g closing trunk with a remote, Fold and unfold mirrors with remote, The door handle lights on reverse gear, enable video while driving, remove that camera and navigation disclaimer, change BMW startup logos and much more. Remember, it can void your warranty on a new car. I wish I knew about Carly when I first got my F15.
Hi, you know how can I set to activate "auto Hold" permament (coz i hate to activate every time when I start the engine, hope is some options just to keep always activate. Is that possibile ? Thank you.
@@SimpleCarGuy I've have some electric side steps to put on my x5, there off the Internet. What do you think I've been told if there not original from bmw to steer clear, what do you think.
I’ve never installed or used aftermarket ones, so I can’t tel you for sure, but I think as long as they are installed properly and are of good quality, there should be no issues. I would steer away from aftermarket sensors and most plastic parts.
I had one of these pull out in front of me.guy was wearing a hoodie. .dude didn't even look to his right turning out not sure we're they get there licenses these days but the goof ball with hoodie mite not be so lucky next time think I'm going to get a train horn installed in my rav 4 .Humm not a bad idea.
I guess these aren't strictly 'hidden features', but can be useful for those newer to BMWs or this X5. I guess I could rename the video to "I have read the manual for you and summarized it under 10 minute with some items you may or may not find interesting". Thanks for watching!

You can also change it from blinking 3 times to only 1 time. Very cool feature.

I've had my x5 for 3 years and didn't know about the writing pad or the sunroof😂😂. I immediately went out to try these and all I can say is Thank you.
