I really liked Maeve Fly! The story and ending were so well done! It's nice to read a book that just goes for it, unapologetically so. I will definitely pick up her next book.
I’m looking forward to Maeve Fly, I don’t mind extreme horror as long as it fits with the plot! I really want to read from Shanora Williams, never tried her but I have one book on my physical TBR!
If you love gore and fast paced books Mique Watson on UA-cam just released his first extreme horror novel called “Them”, and it did not disappoint! Would recommend🖤
I am so interested to check out Maeve Fly. I've heard a few people talk about it being pretty intense. Which, like you said, isn't my thing really either. I've only read a few extreme horror and ( again you said this) a lot of times I feel they are gruesome just to be as "extreme" or gruesome as possible without really adding much to the story. So, I am interested to experience Maeve Fly.
I am thinking about checking Maeve Fly out because I am just getting into extreme horror. I was looking forward to reading The Other Mistress. I don't know if I will like it after what you said but I still might give it a try when it comes to Libby through my library. I won't buy it though.
Great vlog! I have a hard time with extreme horror too. Are there any animal triggers in Maeve Fly? That’s usually how I decide if I’ll read something or not 😂
I'm super excited for Maeve Fly! I read Andrea Bartz previous thriller and honestly it felt more like a friendship drama and now I probably won't pick up this new one. Sad because I also loved her sister's book this year! I'm gonna pass on The Other Mistress as well. I liked the style of this vlog!
not me thinking ill get into booktube and vlog me reading my netgalley arcs.. and then seeing this and being like.. ugh yeah... ARCs be like that sometimes! haha still enjoyed it!
Maeve Fly was an easy 5 star for me! One of my favorites of the year. I’m obsessed with it 😅 I feel like it said and did so much. I highly recommend anyone who loves extreme horror to check it out. We Were Never Here from Andrea Bartz is pretty good! I would recommend
Hi Ashley, I love your shorter videos. I'm also glad you kept this vlog UNDER 35 minutes. I'm becoming less tolerable on vlogs that are over 50 minutes. I don't want to be sitting down to a tv show. I also don't want BookTube to take away from reading time.
I’ve been so curious and excited for The Spare Room!! That’s a bummer it ended up being more of a romantic thriller, that wasn’t really what I was expecting from it either 🥲 I’ll have to readjust my expectations if I do end up reading it!

I enjoy watching your videos because you approach your discussion of a book from an intellectual level. Thank you for your break down of Maeve Fly.
I love the orange eye shadow! It compliments your eyes and hair super well!
Thank you! 💕
Hey, that’s my name!
Just started watching and love this style more. I've always wanted to request this type of vlogy vlogs, but was reluctant to ask😅
The Spare Room sounds very much up my alley...
I love the vloggy aspect of this reading vlog 🤗🤗. I love Hello Fresh. I'm looking forward to Maeve Fly.
thank you!
I’m so glad you made this video! I just took 2 books off my want to read list so thanks for saving me time and money! Loved the vlog!
Digging the eye shadow! And the vlog with the food and drink🍻
I’m glad you said it about The Spare room! I kinda was struggling with Kelly going to Sabrina’s house lol
Like in what world??? Immediately makes you suspend disbelief 😅

I always hear about extreme books but then I am always left feeling underwhelmed so I am truly looking forward to reading Maeve Fly !

You will love it!
When you said you weren't going to explain why you weren't rating I was like no no please explain 🤣🤣
I could pre-actively hear you all screaming at me from the other side of the screen lmao

it's an interesting one for sure. Verryyyy intense. 😬

Oh yeah, one of the most difficult to read scenes for me involved an animal. Maybe not in the way you’d think, but it was ROUGH
@@ashleyslittlelibrary oh noooooo :( Disappointing, but I guess I’ll be skipping this. Thanks Ashley!
Also want to agree with others in the comments. I love the more vloggy sections!

I too am more of a Julia Bartz girly than an Andrea Bartz girly I believe 😅 hope you enjoy (enjoy? Or whatever you say for extreme horror) Maeve Fly!

You never know what you’re in for 😂

I’m so sad about Maeve Fly! I was hoping it would be more of a cosmic/monster horror. I don’t love extreme horror.
I love your nails!
thank you! I've been playing with press-ons the last few months and they're so fun (and easy!)
@@ashleyslittlelibrary I’ve legit wore press ons for 4+ years! So easy!

Hope you enjoy it more than I did 😅 I do think knowing what you’re getting into would help!
