This is exactly how I am when I read a good fan fic. Not like mediocre fan fic, but the type of fan fic that you KNOW is written by someone with some type of professional writing under their belt. I feel this on a spiritual level.

I've also borrowed so many books from our library cause you can borrow for longer now and I'm waiting for two more after panicking because they said they might close the libraries any day now

Super-excited to see Gillian Flynn's work being reviewed in this channel!!! Sharp Objects used to be my fave novel by her, but now I think Gone Girl holds up to the test of time a bit more (and is definitely more fun to read). I once wrote an essay about marriage, gender and the parallels between Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House and Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl for my Drama class because I decided that I really liked Gone Girl that much lmao.

We had to read Little Fires Everywhere for school and I love reading so it was so pleasant to read!! Very fast pace in my opinion and for a school book it was quite enjoyable.
