Kaiju No. 8 definitely hits different if you're over 30. Kafka is the most relatable shonen protagonist I've seen. Been reading the manga since it started, the story definitely ramps up more further in, but that's just how shonen is. Overall I'm happy with the adaptation so far. Most of the voices are on point, and the visuals are really damn solid. Frankly happier with it than a chunk of the Chainsaw Man adaptation.
