Lol it’s the opposite, everyone saying “it’s peak!!” Is forced af. It’s plastered all over Crunchyroll and MAL and being astroturfed so hard. The ones who love it point out vague reasons, while the criticisms are all very specific.

Lol the avg Freiren fan has the IQ of their shoe size. First of all Frieren has like 1/50th of the votes and it’s mostly the stans who have even watched it so of course it’s astroturfed. Also anyone who takes MAL seriously is a clown. FMA is great but it’s certainly not the #1
@52:00 Just one thing i want to note is that that although Frieren is getting a few haters, they'r minuscule compared to those who love it. this can be seen by the way that its ratings is going up after the series finishing. to me this means that most often when people watch this series , they will love it , and those who will give it a low rating will be few and far in between. i do think Frieren will dethrone FMA and i think it will be deserved , this is coming from someone who for a long time believed that FMA deserved it's place as the best anime of all time.
MAPPA could potentially take over only if the directors stays the same and let him do his stuff. If we take that into account other studio could fit the bill like kyoani or shaft
Personally, I think Cloverworks could try it, since they are familiar with director Keiichirou Saitou, who did _Bocchi The Rock_ for them. Barring that, KyoAni or TRIGGER. Ultimately, it's not up to Madhouse. It's up to the people who put up the money, TOHO & Nippon TV. If the money men believe they can get the same results for less... Hell, they'd give it to GOHANDS. One thing that we do NOT want is to use up all the chapters too quickly, because then the demand for more will drive the money men to do things like.... anime-only episodes. AKA filler. And the rate at which the story is coming out is not steady-state, either. As of this week, the manga has gone on indefinite hiatus for unstated reasons. Maybe it's to help with the next season. Maybe it's just a vacation. But if they do another season, I'd be happy with a single cour covering the story up to the next major storyline, then the next one for said story. But whatever happens, we do not want to kill the elf that laid the golden mimic. >_
Are we really forgetting KyoAni and Saru? I mean, sure, neither could do a Madhouse born show as well as Madhouse, but come on, those two would be fantastic to take over Frieren. With all due respect, picking Mappa without even thinking of them first is wild. Bones would still be great, they would be forced to buckle down with something as successful as Frieren.
If KyoAni got Frieren I would ascend on the spot. I would spontaneously combust from excitement. Science Saru could probably pull it off, though I'm not too familiar with their recent stuff, they're like chameleons with their projects. (Oh, right, they're doing Dandadan.)
You are not convincing me that it is better than Steins;Gate. Best story, best characters, believable drama and best romance. Visuals? Obviously not, but I do not care about visuals that much and i do not care about battle scenes in the slightest.
@@rumfordc I mean... I am not into it, but both Steins;gate and Frieren have fan service. And it is arguable about writing in Steins;gate. Sometimes it is meh, but often it can be just breathtaking, overfilled with symbolism and meaning.

I am not a slice of life guy but frieren is PEAK and you gotta be on that stupid potion to think otherwise
Cringe af
Frieren is so fire and the hate feels so forced
it is not.
these are its flaws.
it is boring and slow.
no plot.
very little world-building or uniqueness.

On MyAnimeList the top 10-2 shows have ratings of 9.02 through 9.09 (FMA:B at 9.09). Then Frieren is at 9.39! Absolutely goated, not even close.

If it has a good ending it will be my all time favorite. They just need to not mess it up.

KyoAni is better suited if Madhouse decides to let go of Frieren.
Other studios most likely will abuse cgi for corner cutting..
If someone's favorite anime is JJK, they should be used to other anime being better than their favorite, not that hard lol
The fact that his assumption is that the avg anime fan loves JJK just shows his entire POV is based on the Crunchyroll homepage lol

Steinsgate has a better story but Frieren has better writing and _most importantly_ it doesn't have any cringe cliche maid outfits.
