There are many combinations of tau out there, but I was not expecting Nick to bust out the no crisis suit, 6 full squads of breachers. I have mad respect for running something so out of left field.
Spoiler!! JT saying Nick using the overwatch being nuts yet all three of them were absolutely crucial to pulling off the draw. Absolutely incredible battle awareness and strategic thinking. Impressive from both players!
@@Black_Blow_Fly hmmm yeah I am going to read the comments before I finish watching the video it's not like people will comment and have discussions about what happens in the video
I think that was one of the most entertaining battle reports of this season! Nick and Adrian have such a good synergy, and it was neck and the entire way through! What a game.
What a great game. It's always fun to see how the heavy firepower of the T'au matched up against various swarm armies like orks & nids, but a T'au swarm is definitely an interesting and novel list to try. Definitely did not expect Nick to do as well as he did.
Never thought of how fun the 2 fixed + 1 extra secondaries would be. Amazing that 3 Overwatches let the T'au survive, as each one took out 1-2 models max
Late for the live premiere, however, WHAT. A. GAME! It's good to see Nick back with Mont'ka. Got to see how bully boyz work. Haven't played that detatchment yet. Thank you for this amazing video, fellas! All the best from Crete!
Absolutely fantastic game. Unbelievable course of the game. The show you make gives the game a great atmosphere. The commentator adds the cherry on top. Good work guys!
this was a ton of fun to watch! I do hope for the tau though the kroot make a repeat appearance sometime, and of course Genstealer Nick when the new codex launches!
That was an awesome game and love the energy in the game! Gotta be the highest scoring game have seen for a while too! Love the T'Maui beach sounds at the end 😂
That was such an epic game! The asymmetry of the armies balancing to the final result was very cool. Also, love the visual image of those 6 devilfish flying forward and disgorging all those beautiful blue boiz (and girls)!
This was such a good match. Nick getting a tie game with one of the worst performing armies out there against one of the best shows how well he played. awesome game.
I would love to see a "meme" list game, like a tyranid hive army with as many termagants, hormagants, gargoyls, barbgants as possible (s/o poorhammer podcast)!
Thanks for having Adrian on! What a fun game!
Our pleasure!
Tie!!!
Pants gone!
Waaaaaagh this summer in Tau-maui!
I miss James
Nice
Me, watching Adrian meet Nick with the same amount of energy and enthusiasm:
"Holy sh*t, there's two of them!"
This is getting out of hand. Now there is two of them!
0:30 Missed opportunity to say "Green Tide versus Riptide"
The energy between Adrian and Nick is fantastic. You can tell they’re really having fun.
There are many combinations of tau out there, but I was not expecting Nick to bust out the no crisis suit, 6 full squads of breachers. I have mad respect for running something so out of left field.
That's literally the Montka meta ATM , no crisis
thats the exact meta, there is nothing left field about it.
Spoiler!!

Thanks for the spoiler… 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻

"Un Dirty Word Believable" is an amazing quote!
This channel has caused me to come back to the game after 20 years. And I'm bringing my two sons with me this time. Very pricey
998 Sons to go
Buying a 3d printer will save you a lot in the long run!
I love the reporter orc that just shows up during deployment
had to double take real quick
As someone who started playing warhammer 40k in 4th edition starting with Tau, I love the throwback to the old fish of fury!
I seem to remember Commissar Nick telling the Emperor he'd never play Tau again if he got a six... He got a six.
I’m sure that was a different nick. :)
@@PlayOnTabletopTauNick and GuardNick are twin brothers, confirmed. By the Emperor's holy decree, this is now canon.
@@PlayOnTabletopI swear you guys have various of Nicks variants in the basement
I’m primarily a Star Wars Legion player but I can’t get enough of these. The energy and production is so good.
I think that was one of the most entertaining battle reports of this season! Nick and Adrian have such a good synergy, and it was neck and the entire way through! What a game.
OOF Adrian forgot his beastbosses gets dev wounds on charge and rerolls hits because of the beast snagga boyz

I love Nick's energy and dedication. The enthusiasm to use the 'Splitfire to Victory' is what make Playon the best BR channel on UA-cam.
Late for the live premiere, however, WHAT. A. GAME!

Nick is Manning the Tau, this is going Hot
Love how the battle played out, and that ending! T'maui here we go!
My god, this game have got me on the edge all the time. It has been so fun.

Can’t believe a range specialist army managed a draw against a melee specialist army in a brawl fight. Amazing game play and sportsmanship!
Glad to see a Stormsurge. Just finished assembling one myself. And I don't even play T'au!
That was the _best_ game of 40K I've ever witnessed. Incredible! Hats off!
Everybody gangsta till the t’au gets close and personal with the 12 gauge
Absolutely fantastic game. Unbelievable course of the game. The show you make gives the game a great atmosphere. The commentator adds the cherry on top. Good work guys!
Glad you enjoy it!
That was nuts dang nick i thought the melee would grind you down but you suprised me. Im impressed
oh the devilfish wasn't on the postcard from t'maui because it died... thats surprisingly sad.
That was a terrific game with unmatched energy from our two players. Bravo!
What a game! I was on the edge of my seat for the last two battle rounds
Respect to Adrian for not just fielding 18 MegaNobz in bully boyz
I've never played this, but I was SO invested in this battle! These are the two factions I'm trying to choose for starting with!
Great Game ! BIG Overwatches that really mattered, especially that Broadsie one that kept him allive and even shoot next round 1 more down..
Loved the armies.
Loved the energy.
Loved the game.
Loved Adrian's shirt.
Like the new white/orange color scheme on Nicks tau quite a bit
This close games are simply the best.
I like them the most, both whatching and playing.
Bloo Gitz is funnie to scrap wiv.
Cows vs. Fungus Woo!
Who knew that would bring in a cat?
this was a ton of fun to watch! I do hope for the tau though the kroot make a repeat appearance sometime, and of course Genstealer Nick when the new codex launches!
Funny sound from Adrian at 26:40
Wasn't expecting it, cracked me up!
Brilliant battle I have never seen a draw before
What an amazing game to watch. It certainly kept us all on the edge of our seats.
This has got to be one of the best 40k games I've seen in ages! Wild. Good stuff Tabletop 🤙
good game guys, what a WILD end score. huge fun from 2 very enthusiastic players
That was an awesome game and love the energy in the game! Gotta be the highest scoring game have seen for a while too!
Love the T'Maui beach sounds at the end 😂

What a wild game!
Everything was thrown on the table and I loved it!
Tau fighting? Ork shooting?
And it kinnnnd of working? That was great.
I love Nick's energy. Always a blast watching him!!
This is an amazing format for watching 40k can't wait to watch more 40k40m
Glad you enjoyed!
That was such an epic game! The asymmetry of the armies balancing to the final result was very cool. Also, love the visual image of those 6 devilfish flying forward and disgorging all those beautiful blue boiz (and girls)!
Man, I'm going to miss the Tetra...was a solid unit and really helped the Tau
Ever since I found this channel I'm starting love warhammer table top
New Warhammer40k fan and thematically Tau and Orks are my two favorite factions so it’s exciting to see them throw down against one another.
Such great production values, these are such a fun watch. Congrats on the intense and close game!
I just now had an itch to see a proper krumpin’ when I saw this upload. The WAAAGH energy no doubt at play!
I was just looking for this exact matchup, Mork must have been favourable to me today
My two favorite tabletop channels! Loved this BR.
I love Adrian's dice rolling technique. It's like he's jerking his hand back from a hot flame after every roll.
All those overwatches came in absolutely clutch!
This is the most agressive I've ever seen Nick play, and that's *really* saying something.
Seeing these videos makes me wish and pray for a revamp of the Dawn of War RTS. Imagine Devilfish speeding down a map with modern graphics.
Adrian's converted orks are awesome! Nice work!
WHAT ARE THESE ORK CONVERSIONS???
THEY LOOK SICK!!
What a wild finish that was bonkers. Love it.
Those Nobz using the old fantasy ogre bodies look awesome
Omg that ending was great.
This was a FANTASTIC episode 🎉
Wow my two Favorit Armys in one Report, thank you Guys
Two loud bois making a racket. Love it.
Awesome play guys !!! Play on !!!!
I love how this channel does their battle reports
Always wanted to see a 6 squad Breacher team in action!
I absolutely love that Ork army.
That was insane! They performed just like 2 opposites should!
This is one of the Best matches ever seen my 2 fav armies tougether.
What a game!
I think both armies should sip coconut margaritas together in Tau-Maui!
That was insane!!! Great game guys!!!!
The whole sequence from 19:25 made me laugh out loud. Great energy!
I havent watched Playon tabletop for a year... and it seems like Nick gained some weight, but glad to see him playing semi competitive lists.
Holy *damn* that's some incredible tactics!
When your just happy to see Nick again
This was such a good match. Nick getting a tie game with one of the worst performing armies out there against one of the best shows how well he played. awesome game.
These two are so fun to watch, its like a labrador meeting another labrador, their energy is contagious hahah
I love games with NIck. He's the wargamer I hope to grow up to be.
Love to see some legends models getting played
Starting to get into some Tau stuff now but these 3 Devilfish getting wrecked right away is kinda scary.
Holy crap! What a game. Amazing stuff.
WOW what a battle, that was incredible 😂
I love one of the devilfish is just a hammerhead with the turret removed
Three of them even 😅
brilliant match! loved it
I would love to see a "meme" list game, like a tyranid hive army with as many termagants, hormagants, gargoyls, barbgants as possible (s/o poorhammer podcast)!
Wow !!!! So much effective overwatch throughout this amazing game
14:25 That's what she said, JT, that's what she said.
Has to be the absolute best 40k in 40 to date.
Those templars look stunning 😍
These are always fun to watch
The game was awesome, but can we all take a moment to appreciate Adrian's cool shirt?
Oh my god, as I wished for a new tau upload, one came
"That's going to strand those nobs deep in Adrian's zone"
A sentence that someone actually said out loud people
