First time in front of a camera... proper torture, you bloody right ! And, despite this, I've changed my life to become an actor. Some folks probably like being tortured. Should I start worrying ? ^_^
These guys have way too much fun together. I love that they can do all the trash talking without getting upset. My friends and I do the very same thing and they will always be my friends.
You guys need to know - I don't often have the time to sit down and watch a lot of your videos, but you can bet, any videos with Pye in them will ALWAYS get watched. I love how he shoots and I always learn so much. Make it a competition and I am aallllll in!! LOVE these!!
Thankyou for being raw and honest with your photography. I hate feeling small compared to all these UA-cam photographers that give off this "perfect every shot" vibe. You make me feel like photography can be fun!
Probably the best Fstoppers video yet, most entertaining and educational. The three of they trash talking sounds just like my head space on the shoots I do, glad I'm not alone!
guys, i have to tell you.... LOVED the video.... this battles are getting classic!!!! I laugh a lot and always always always learn something..... glad that you had a wonderful time over there. Send you all blessings for doing this kind of work Congratulations.....!!!!!
This was super funny video. The trash talking made me laugh soo much. It is true when someone finds that strand that breaks your concentration its not as easy to concentrate and take pictures... A cool experiment your guys can do is do this challenge with a random member or beginner or something of the sort to show how difficult it is when you are under the gun. Great stuff guys
Lol you know what? Best episode ever! I loved everything about this episode and what I like about it is that it shows you guys are brave and went out of your element. And no.... I would not unsubscribe because of those images. Lol gotta say, love Lee’s Hail Mary touchdown(almost) pass of an image! But I enjoyed all 3 of the shots!
29:56 Patrick's cropped version on the left could've easily won. Lee's picture was the safest choice. Pye's was too overprocessed and didn't fit with the plain clothes and hair.
The real winner is the lady in red for trying to maintain some seriousness with the three goons' constant school-grade trash talk circling all around 😅 As a first endeavor into modeling she kept it together pretty well. As for good takeaways: I liked Patrick's self-summary the best -- The biggest win comes from taking action and actively appreciating the lessons gained when you experiment in areas you're not comfortable with. I also got a lot of value from thinking about adding "controlled chaos" to ramp up your skills (as they said, having two hecklers constantly interrupting your flow adds an incredible amount of simulated stress *on top of* the natural anxiety that comes from wanting to professionally satisfy a client with your work). I imagine this is like athletic training for a competitive event, you could condition yourself to deal with BS that you'd never have to deal with in >90% of ordinary work situations. I also appreciated "the willingness to try" from everyone involved: from the men vying for 'best shot' and from the waitress lady for doing something outside her regular comfort zone (maybe we should all give kudos to Lee's wife for legitimizing you guys in public :P )
Lee made her look like he shot with an iphone 4. Patrick made her profile look like leatherface. Pye made her look like a model. Pye won. (That check better clear Pye).
really liked this one. Enjoyed you hunting and struggling to find the setups and would like to see some more of those shots in your presentation. Was funny and helpful. Thanks!
I laughed so hard all the way through this. Lee reminds me of me going completely blank on a shoot😂. Thanks for keeping it real, you guys. I love the Fstoppers/Pye combo - great fun and chemistry👍😁
I have an idea for you guys. This series is great, and apparently, a lot of us in the Fstoppers community love it. I know it may come with a heavy investment, but: how about challenging a random photographer either from SLR Lounge´s community or Fstopper´s? I imagine posting a poll with 1 or 2 months in advance to see who would like to do it, and then randomly choose one of those.
Lee Morris, you may have “let your fans down” but you did not let your mother down. I chose that as your photograph and I chose that as the BEST photograph! Love, Mom.
Love these videos 🥰 and I think Pye shoots Canon and not Nikon which shows that the camera is a tool, but it must put him at a slight disadvantage and he won’t just know the settings and buttons like Lee and Patrick. Next challenge shoot each other, rock, paper, scissors to decide who gets which model 🤗
Pretty much, Pye's style is very distinctive and I was able to pick it out of the three.. so far, I have been getting it wrong with choosing between Lee or Patrick's with this and the past of their competitions :D
Honestly, this is how the first 20 odd minutes at the start of my shoots go. You take a lot of images you aren’t happy with and then you dial it in from there once you have seen for yourself and through the lens what doesn’t work.
Need some suggestion How is the samyang 18mm f2.8 on sony a7iii as compared to sony10-18mm f4 on a6400? I am planning to go on sony system. And i am confused between sony a7iii or a6400 because of that ultrawide lens. I have two sets in mind but I can’t choose which one to go 1. Sony a7iii+ tamron 28-75 f2.8+ samyang 18 f2.8 2. Sony a6400+ sigma trio + sony 10-18 f4 I mostly shoot in the range of 24-70 but sometimes I need that ultrawide lens(near 16 mm) for covering the whole landscape and some creative photos with unique perspective that ultrawide gives. I am not much into video or vlogging. Photo is my priority. F2.8 on full frame will give me sufficient amount of blur and low light capability. It would be much better to just zoom in and out on tamron than changing lens each time with the sigma trio. And it will be easier to carry one lens than carrying three lens while travelling. But If I go with a7iii and tamron 28-70 I couldn’t afford more than the samyang 18mm lens. If the samyang lens is as good as sony 10-18 I would easily go with a7iii but I don’t know if the photo quality of samyang is as good as the sony 10-18. since it is a cheap lens I have some doubt. Can you tell me about those lens which one should I go for?
The most wonderful thing about this video is that it really makes me realize that "... yeah, I can do that" :P Sure this isn't their best work. But if this is what they do at their level, I don't feel so bad about myself :D
You guys are so entertaining. I'm laughing so hard. I feel like I'm not so bad after this shoot you guys should get fans to compete with you guys as a curve ball. I vote me I would be a great trash talker as well..
I would love to have seen Patrick's image have a little more head space in it... but I LOVE Pye's image. Mostly because it invokes a little more emotion, it's creative, and it's not something you would expect to see in everyone's portfolio. I'm not a huge fan of Lee's, but it may just be my personality, style, and type of photography I like.
Hi @@amadaleezgarcia3353 ! Just wanted to share you have a nice smile and a sweet voice! Every if you didn't enjoy modeling this time! Please do continue it!

Fstoppers these work great btw
I like this, because it shows me that even pros can take bad pictures. thank you for that guys!
Screw you Alejandro ;)
@@FStoppers 🤣
Hahahahaha!
Yup! It’s about the Knight, not the Sword
This is why I love fstoppers man he's such a real guy
That poor young lady must keep asking herself what she got herself into.
Jim Hunt just awful. We’ve all been there
First time in front of a camera... proper torture, you bloody right !

Should I start worrying ? ^_^
This show feels like Top Gear with cameras.
Patrick is Hammond fr. Jury's out on which one is May, I feel like Pye or Lee are a close race for Clarkson
Pye = May, for sure. I think, in my mind.
where's stig?
which now thegrandtour, hahaha lol I cant agree more with you on these.
I am sure who will be Hammond, but who is the Orang Hutan.
The best, most entertaining challenge to date!
"Who is your favourite photographer?" - "I can't tell"
"Who paid you earlier today when you showed up?" - "You"
"Just edit that!" :D
The little guy's Amazonian pic was the best of all. He should have submitted that one.
This is the funniest challenge ever. Nice to see some real world crap lighting, crap location, no forethought and thus a bunch of pros crash and burn.
These guys have way too much fun together. I love that they can do all the trash talking without getting upset. My friends and I do the very same thing and they will always be my friends.

Thank you guys. You've given me a real confidence boost!
This was great, I could watch a lot of these videos. Great photographers and chemistry, love the trash talking.
The trash talk is so good, love it too!
I’d watch these all day long. Great dynamic between you guys.
Does anyone else think Patrick looks/sounds like Nelson "Big Head" Bighetti from Silicon Valley?
Shane Hunter yes!
Have never heard this ever...not even once. -P
totally
Patrick looks and sounds like someone that had his body shrunk but his head stayed the same size.

This was so fun to watch! Love all you guys.
The best photography challenge ive ever watched 👌 pure and real emotions and atitude. Cheers from philippines
Pure gold ! :) I'm having a blast watching the trashtalk battle
I loooove these challenges!
Hands down the funniest one of these you guys have ever done. Great job
The best challenge episode. Do more of this!
You are all just amazing. Harsh and funny at same time. Good freindship! It's nice to watch your content.
I love this series! Keep it comming
You guys are hilarious! Absolutely love these challenges. Patrick, the Amazonian one was killer
I sooo love this episode! Never had so much fun watching a video as this one!
More challenges! These are definitely my favorite kind of videos.
I loved to see you all BOMB! This was great probably one of my fave vids!
Me after watching this video: "Guess I'm quite good actually".
Clarkson, Hammond and May vibes. I'll let you decide who is who.
Lee is Clarkson. Little guy is Hammon obviouslt. And the Pie guy is James May.
Seriously, these competitions are freaking so funny and FUN! If I could see one of these a month that would be golden haha 🤣Thanks again
Love this series! Cant wait to see more.

This was great! I laughed the whole episode. Great jobs all around.
I love these challenge contest videos. You should let the community choose the next photography challenge competition.
You guys r amazing .. specially Pye.. he is mine fav always. I learnt lot from him.. great teacher. Great man..
These competitions never disappoint 😂...more please
The cropped vertical version of Pye’s when all 3 images are on the screen is by far the best. Looks way better than his wide landscape crop.
Hands down the BEST videos on the channel.
Y'all gotta bring her back and create some phenomenal images for her.
Three of you together are the most entertaining to watch. Do more videos with Pye.

I loved the short loop low key shot. Can't believe it didn't get picked. Thx guys for the awesome content
this was probably the funniest competition I've seen on this channel.
29:56 Patrick's cropped version on the left could've easily won.
Lee's picture was the safest choice.
Pye's was too overprocessed and didn't fit with the plain clothes and hair.
Yes, that was a good shot.
Totally agree!
Agreed
The best for sure
Except is miss focused.. the focus is on the leg not on the eyes but yeah.. much better than that ww2 style lol

This was great Please do more modeling with non-models! It is defiantly something that not many channels are doing.
I like Pye's image against the rock. Very nicely done.
More of this please. This is genuinely funny 😁

Another brilliant challenge video guys, please make more! Lee, as one of your three UA-cam fans, I'm not angry, just disappointed.
this is the best video you guys ever made, I had fun editing and watching
Patrick could you explain a bit better how you removed the highlight?
I was having so much fun watching you guys, I didn't even care about the pictures!
I LOVED this! Had a lot of laughs!
this was vey entertaining and funny good job guys loved it
Fun video guys but educational also. The video was helped by the presence of a pretty lady, who was amazing as a first time model!
Lee Morris, you may have “let your fans down” but you did not let your mother down. I chose that as your photograph and I chose that as the BEST photograph! Love, Mom.
A mother’s love and support triumphs everything❤️
I enjoyed your photos man. You definitely got more than 3-4 fans unless I'm one of those 3-4 :p

Pye running in slow motion is the highlight of my day. 😂
I would of went in with the smoke bomb too, guilty as charged haha! I use the rim lighting in a lot of my shoots as well adds a nice touch!
How did the top of Lee's head get cropped off at 42:00? Is it really shaped like that?
T Freeman hah I didn’t catch that. My background mask was just a little too close to his head! -P
Whenever I have a bad shoot i'll revert back to this video as a pick me up lol
What's the name of the model?
Annaliese

Ha ha you guys are so much fun. I like all the pics too. Awesome location and pretty waitress

I reckon Patrick's other image maybe would have won it.
He had some decent pics but He picked the worst image to submit.
Not even halfway through this, and I am cracking up here at work. No work is geting done for the next 40 minutes! haha
funniest episode ever! especially the trash talking! lol but to be honest all of the 3 photos are below average! but again a very funny episode!
