Skyward X is the GOAT Max Stack Mafia Certified shoe. Love the Glizzy Max too; agree with everything you said about those shoes. I need to try the Puma Magmax
I’m so glad I bit the bullet two years ago and bought the PrimeX Strung OG. I ran in it earlier this week and it truly is special. I’m on the fence with the Skyward X only because of the color choices. Maybe the 2025 version will float my boat. I enjoyed your review.
Some these shoes are described as heavy, like glycerine max, but I don’t notice any extra weight. People worry bout a few grams here or there then carry a heavy iPhone or drinks, cushion max is great for non race situations
Prime X2 Strung is the daddy 👌🏻 Had the Superblast 2's and Glycerin Max, sold them both as I just don't think they are as good as all the hype. I really want to try that Glideride Max as I loved the Glideride 3's 😊
I'm a former barefoot mafia only guy and I'm here to say they're crazy. I wear barefoot/minimalist for my daily wear still, but im all max cushion gang for marathon training. Marathon training in barefoot shoes is fuckin insane and for someone like me, I'd have to do a 10 year long training block before I could even attempt 26 miles in barefoot shoes 😅
@flipperzero9662 I'm mostly a barefoot mafia dude, but yeah I would agree, doing a whole marathon barefoot or with barefoot shoes is mad. I can only handle a half before my feet die
I have 4 of these shoes. The prime x2 are heavy but they push you. The glycerin max if they have a defect for some there is the risk of rubbing with the inside of the white midsole. The SB2 and the Magmax, in my size the magmax weigh 100g more, they are nice shoes but for the majority of runners the SB2 will be much better.
yeah.. saturdays are get your run done early.., because we have 2 birthday parties to go to in addition to,, the other stuff we already do. looking at the glyercin max, as a maybe shoe to change into, for a 50 miler I am looking at .. dont worry, its gravel and hard pack dirt.., not a trail 50 miler
Every shoe has a max now. If glycerin max is soft max and Hyperion max is max pep. Why does the ghost max exist? What does that one do? I can’t afford all these maxes
I am retired from max cushion shoes… More V5 and Glycerin Max have seriously destroyed my inner arches. The sidewalls that these shoe companies involve to help stability has been the death of me. I’ve heard similar complaints about the Bondi 8 and other max stack shoes. Luckily it’s very fun and still very possible to do slow runs with other options- Maybe I should try a max cushion + plate if they use the plate for stability. Open to all suggestions. I’m a 175 6’1 runner and always appreciate the Cush but that sink into the foam could be the reason I’m rubbing no matter what.

Weight on foot is very different, think about how a light weight feels if it’s attached to the opposite end of a board that you’re holding.
Asics Glidride max is in the list... i bought it after listening your previous review

These shoes are really crimes against the barefoot mafia

How about the Mizuno Wave Rebellion Pro (or 2 / Flash / 2, etc)?
So surprised the Saucony Hurricane 24 isn’t a top 5 😮
Yo whassa up Yowana 😅
Just got the Magmax for 140€ BF deal, really eager to test them
As a 200 pound hobby jogger putting down POWER, Superblast 2 on the treadmill has been perfect
Magmax is the sleeper hit of the year, i thought that would go to the SL2 but this stole it for sure.
Could you advise a shoes for my girlfriend, for the beginner level, pace 8-9. Thanks.

First comment.. hello yowana... Which is most cushion plush soft hurricane 24 or Asics glideride max or Asics nimbus 26 ????
I've been wondering about.the current Hurricane myself. Who has a thorough review?
Glideride max gots pop and dus work
@@brianway4240yowana did one or two videos on it; search for them. Run testers reviewed it too I think.
Of those three I think the nimbus 26 is the softest

I think Brooks positions them as Ghost - daily max, Hyperion - speed max, Glizzy - long max
Yeee let’s go Bang
The zebra max max stack shoe mafia is in the chat
Stack em up boiiii
Does the goat say hi ?
Puma MagMax ❤
Where would the original prime x strung fit in here?
He addressed it in this video.
3:50 to 5:18 specifically, although he was holding it to the camera right from the start.
Sup your max stack?
Don't the chickens eat the slugs?
They also destroy your lawn looking for bugs 😢
Stack’em
👍

You're most likely running in them too much. I pull mine out on recovery days only!!!
