- When Greg Perano purchased a box of 8mm films for just $11 at a Sydney market, he stumbled upon an extraordinary piece of music history: unseen footage of The Beatles' 1964 Sydney concert. Filmed by journalist Gil Wahlquist, former music write for the Sydney Morning Herald, this rare film captures intimate and candid moments of the Fab Four on stage, showcasing their raw energy and charm.

Incredible. What a find.
I can never get enough of The Beatles. Ever! Lucky find, huh? Who knew? Again, thanks! 🌹💕✌️☺️
Fab!
Wow. Thank you for sharing this amazing find!
Absolutely incredible find.
Amazing find!
A Beatles video grail find even if it's without sound
Great to see footage from the old tin shed. There's a plaque on Neild Avenue marking the location of the old stadium and the Beatles' concert. We talk about this and other locations in a forthcoming episode of our nine-part podcast on the tour (and the broader Australian social context)
That's so cool! What a treasure to find that❤
This is gold.
Impresionante documento...¡¡¡ YEAH 😎😎😎

安うて珍しいもん手にいれて。うらやましおますわあ。ないと思うな運と財産、いいまっさかいなあ。
Nothing to get excited about. No audio and it could be anywhere. Much better live concert footage exists- with audio - but no doubt somebody will pay to have it because...well, I don't know why really.
Amazing find!
