I had a fold-out almost life-size poster of Bobby, leaning against a tree, wearing those pants and that shirt. The shirt was light blue. My first crush, I was about 11.
I love this classic song and performance by the very cute and very talented singer, musician and actor Bobby Sherman! I love the dancers! They are great! I was born in 1978! I bought this record album and CD which included this song and all of Bobby Sherman's greatest hit songs! Thank you for posting and sharing this classic video! I love it!
Thank you for sharing. Any clips you find, please share. I missed out on all things Bobby Sherman back then. So tonight, I'm trying to catch up. BTW, hot damn, look at those pants!
I also would like add that I wish they'd release the short lived series "Getting Together" on DVD . That'd be owesome to see these from the original source , cleaned up and remastered. All I've ever seen is a copy of one episode from a tired old film that was very close to looking like an x-ray.
Although Bobby Sherman had a hit with this sing in early ‘70, it had been recorded previously by Cass Eliot as an album track. Both versions are good and worth listening to.
Actually sporting a nice crooner voice, Bobby Sherman was 27 years old when he got his major breakthrough in 1969, so he was no teenager. Catchy songs expertly sung and fine his hits remain fine late 60s/ early 70s artifacts.
This was taken from. Te show is called, make your kind music. Starring ma Cass s and Kenny Rogers, after he left the first edition. Comes on Saturday night at7:30 on ABC.
@@42NORRIS, I watched the Mandalorian episodes on Disney channel so now I like Mandalorians and foundlings.....no crush there just like, same with Groot and other characters in movies and TV.
When he was very popular, every black girl got his albums, posters and stickers on their noteboks. Even though here come the bride's was real hot on tv, he's still handsome and paramedic in Santa Monica ,can. He's a bit silimar like David Cassidy.
Bobby... I had one poster of him on one side of my bedroom bureau, and a poster of David Cassidy on the other side and I would kiss each of them goodnight every night before bed😍
Egawds, I was listening to Creedence Clearwater, Deep Purple, Steely Dan and others then. If you were into Bobby Sherman and David Cassidy then you might as well been listening to Wayne Newton and Engelburt Humperdink. Has the plastic 70's appeal of John Davidson and Burt Convy. Uhhh...Robert at 67.

I remember this song Easy come and Easy go. and the drum. Thanks Mr.Sherman. 😊🌷🌷 💿
Its funny how music promos/clips from the 60's and 70's evolved into videos of the 80's, 90's, and beyond.
1970 was my first year of high school at Belmont Highschool in Los Angeles, many of us guys had long combed hair just like this.
Looks good, that John Davidson thing goin' on :-)

Bobby Sherman was my teen idel I remember singing long with I also made him a birthday cake in July 1970 I think back and smile to myself so silly
I wish someone would make a documentary. There is so little footage of Bobby available.

I wish I could see you.
I am living in Georgia,America
So gorgeous!!
Cool!
Every time I see this guy I think of 7-Eleven stores his face was on every magazine rack along with The Osmond Brothers
Better class of artist here, from the clothing to understanding the words to the song... 💜😘

He was also the featured male vocalist on Shindig, well before 1969.
OMG!! I was writing a story and I remembered my sister's crush on him. I am glad I found him
Man, the 50s,60s and early 70s sure had its fair share of Bobbies! Sherman, Rydell, Goldsboro to name but a few.
And Bobby Darin!
I have a bobby sherman lunchbox thermos.

That hairstyle was first rocked by John Lennon, mid 60s - Revolver album era
Who wrote this song? "She wasn't kind, I wasn't smart, I lost my mind and fell apart." That sounds like every relationship I ever had!

It's hard to sing and smile constantly
And we all just tried to do just that!!
Embarrassing to say this was my first record as a 10 year old 🤷♂️
You had great taste in music at ten.
I bought it when I was 10, too, and I am PROUD to say it!!😊
Me too and proud of it!!!😁
My first was Dizzy by Tommy Roe.... but shortly after came all my Bobby records

Oy vey, what a flashback. What’s next, “Up With People”?
Sh*tty creation that haunts us through the decades of manufactured pop artists.
You are in the minority here. Why are you here?
