Thought I should mention - this video is what inspired me to start sculpting in my flat and film the progress of my works. My channel wouldn't have happened without you.
Ive been a painter for many years but only now have i decided to try clay modelling and maybe one day sculpting in stone. I am amazed by the skill of this artist and i do not understand how anyone could dislike her achievement. I can think only jealousy. Bravo!! You are a true artist. Creator of beauty.
I just watched your video so many years after you uploaded it, by curiosity of course searching for tutorials. What I did not expect is that it would make me cry, tears of joy, emotion and felt life itself being created. Thank you.
This is absolutely beautiful. I'm not a sculptor and while I don't have any immediate plans to become one in the future, there's something still strangely beautiful about watching how this fact is sculpted. It's a very beautiful art, in my opinion.
I love this sculpture. This lady has such an eye for what is pretty. This is art that is praiseworthy. I hope others feel this way. I give my compliments, lady.
It's like witnessing a miracle, from à mere piece of clay this beautiful sculpture emerges from the gîfted hands of the artist, in total connection of heart and mind. I love it. Thank you for sharing this video.
OMG... That looks JUST like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider Legend/Anniversary. Even the braid matches up perfectly. It's a beautiful sculpture, and I'm calling it "Lara" in my head. Thanks for sharing!
What do you do once the clay is dry? Do you Kiln Fire it? Or is it an "air dry" clay? If Kiln fire... then how do you hollow it to prevent air bubbles expanding and bursting in the Kiln? Thank you
Oh god, this is stunning! She looks so pretty, and your work is very well done. Specially liked her profile and hair. You've just got a great fan here!
Yes very much, I remember a VERY long time ago in my year 8 art class we were working with clay, one of my female class mates made wonderful sculptures where as my efforts on the other hand were pretty darn ordinary lol. I don't know whether she had prior experience with clay or not so difficult to tell but natural ability makes a huge difference otherwise its just Practice, Practice, Practice :-)
there is no such thing as natural ability with sculpting its all about knowledge of the object you are sculpting. Anyone with the drive to do so can sculpt if they will take the time to observe the object they want to sculpt in a logical way. Though the difficulty curve will be based on the type of medium you choose and probably how steady your hands are and if you have no hands then well its going to be tough.
Funny how i successfully made a human head sculptor with not experience, art school or any contact with clay ever until the day ofc that i made my first sculptor. i spent 8 hours making it with a butterknife, a paint brush and my bare hands.. yet... what i do is useless in my country so I'm condemned to stay poor and miserable *-continues to collect clay out of dirt and sculpts anyways-*
I hear you i'm not a sculpter but I am an artist I can draw anything even realistic human like celebrities and what I don't understand is that I see paintings that looks likes its done by kids yet are more expensive than what I do
Jake elwafi I did. And your work is very good for a beginner but you still have a long way to go. You cannot expect to be great after just 3 sculptures. I think if you keep at it, you will most definitely make it, but your work cannot be compared to the one shown on the video. Being artistic is mainly sticking to what you love doing, whether you get recognition or not. But studying is important for art, especially when it comes to anatomy. I can see some issues with your sculpture and you should learn what's underneath the human head. Not even the great masters were able to sculpt without a profound knowledge of the human body. Study bones, and then the connecting muscles and ligaments. Use that in your work. Also studying a sculpting technique will teach you ways of doing something better with less effort. It'll teach you to use the right tools. If I were you, I'd try to get close to other sculptors and learn from them, not copy (unless you use it as a learning tool).
Your work is impeccable and wonderful. You're a great artist. I sincerely wish you the best as a sculptor. Thank you for showing us your beautiful art. Congratulations!!.
This is so amazing that I have no words!! Anyone who disliked this is crazy! There just jealous that they can't do what you do. I'm an artist my self and your work inspired me to draw!
Wow I love how the structure and shapes used to build the facial features where highlighted. But it's true mastery when the complex and fantastic appear simple and mundane. 9 years later and this is still a spectacular video and creation. Bravo.
This is so touching. The result looks so realistic, so beautiful! !! You are a gifted artist!!
Thank you ❤️

I never get tired watching this video, simply amazing. The woman looks so alive and you are a great artist.
this is so, so beautiful. you can really see the love and effort that's being put into it
Amazing! I love how the texture of the hair looks not overly flat or too overtried for detail.
¡Maravilloso!!! A medida que progresaba el trabajo parecía que surgía la vida!!!! Me encantó. ¡¡Quién pudiera hacer lo que tú haces!!!!👏👏👏
This is wonderful, I wish I could have seen it unedited.

Your understanding of beauty and the human form is amazing.
I love working with clay, such a good feeling working with it.

A phrase that immediately came to mind when I watched this was "Simply Amazing"
Dig. Ptefer ashtrays and miniture heads.

Exactly what I thought. Was about to comment that. lol
Sorprendente, nivel altísimo que orgullosa se tiene que sentir de poder crear semejante busto. Enhorabuena.👌👌👌
She makes it look easy but I know it's not.
Your profile says it all😂
It’s actually not hard, try it
@@slay_queen_abri3761 Bwahahaha!
@@blackelementstudiox3164 I tried a lot of times, and i can confirm that sentence, not yours, that one "...it look easy but it is not" 😂
I am just so thankful for your exceptional tutorials and your exquisite work!
You have gift of God.. Amazing job.
The gift of which you speak doesn't include an ability to give instruction, if you judge by the video that was shown. Absolutely worthless.
Simply amazing! Why modern art gets more attention than real art like this is beyond me.
im gonna make a gf
Lmao
Pygmalion is that you?
Erick Graziani nice
I see that you finish your project based on your profile pic
Pygmalion called. He wants his legend back.
The most beautiful features and profile of a woman I have ever seen. Love this piece!
Thank you 🙏
I am tired of seeing people sculpting monsters on youtube. It takes real talent to make something beautiful. This was very nice!!
It takes work for those monsters and talent
@@jadebarnett4451- Lol, why so butthurt? 😂🤣

Amazing! I kept thinking it was done, then you made it even more lifelike
Супер!!!! Я восхищаюсь!!!!♡♡♡♡♡

this music made me want to cry :'0)
i am not a traditional sculptor i use z-brush to sculpt but you inspired me and taught me a lot thank you so much
How much practice does it take to be able to sculpt decently?
Yes very much, I remember a VERY long time ago in my year 8 art class we were working with clay, one of my female class mates made wonderful sculptures where as my efforts on the other hand were pretty darn ordinary lol. I don't know whether she had prior experience with clay or not so difficult to tell but natural ability makes a huge difference otherwise its just Practice, Practice, Practice :-)
Yes but i think raw talent also has a fair contribution to allowing you to take on-board what you are learning.
I hope so, currently I am really rubbish at painting but modelling using polymer clay but hoping to improve a great deal :-)
MrAwrsomeness it doesn’t take practice... it takes dedication
