@@silvarainbowsparkle hello i thought u'd wanna know, I did start sculpting about 3 weeks ago and I'm in love. Its definitely not as easy as it seems on the video but I've noticed myself getting the hang of things after my second head that I made. So go for it dude. It's so so so much fun. 🌸
i literally go so far for a dumb middle school art project that i make i figure, the video and the process are very calm and relaxing tysm for the help ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the tutorial! Absolutely love your sculptures, especially their faces , they always look so beautiful and peaceful. Can't wait for the second part :D would definitely give this a go
You are such a brilliant sculptor. You have now given me the confidence to do this. I’m always buying the ready made or the moulds. This is so soul satisfying. Thank you again for sharing 👏🏼👏🏾🥰
thankyu! i am dissabled and was having trouble finding vidios i could follow well. this is perfect thankyou for explaining what you are doing while you do it and why!
I didn’t know you added the clay for the features. I had is I my head you started with a big lump of clay and took away clay as you sculpted. Every day is a learning day.
Thank you for making this tutorial. I am trying to make a sculpture since weeks ( for art class by the way ) and I didn't know how I should sculpture the face. So, thanks alot again! ❤️
Thank you very much for the very good performance, especially no time lapse. For me, her toorial was very easy to understand, I speak very poor English and therefore I am into her doing and showing sculpting. Please excuse the possibly not so good translation. ❤️❤️❤️
im watching too much cake shows and im amazed at how theyre able to sculpt stuffs with chocolates and fondant... but since im not a baker... i will just practice on clay... and this is perfect 💖💖💖💖💖💖 THANK YOU
Thank you thank you for explaining why sculptors use foil its for pressure. I didn't know why? And thanks for doing two part on norm so your technique can be seen I've asked so many to not use speed and do in parts so I can learn, but they pay no attention. You can't call your video a tutorial if it's on speed and your all over the place and we the audience miss out on major things of what you're doing. Nice work by the way keep it comin
I’ve never actually sculpted before but I’ve done many paintings and drawings. I’m about to give it a shot😂my only worry is on how long I should bake it for when I’m done.
Same here haha but u can also try the clay that is air dry I've seen videos where they say you can't actually bake it in a normal oven.. Needs to be 1000°C+
Thankyou so much for this amazing, clear video... this has been a great help to me ... this is so helpful and your process is so clear to follow! Wonderful! Thankyou.x🤗
Do we need a special kiln for this, or a conventional oven? If so, what heat? Sorry, I know you maybe tire of questions, and I don't want to sound thick, as I'm going to be new to this. Thanks 😄👍
It depends on the clay you use, this tutorial was made using polymer clay. Whenever you buy the clay it’ll have baking instructions, for polymer clay you just use a conventional oven. For example, super sculpey bakes at 275 F for 15 minutes per each quarter inch of thickness. With this technique, you’d probably bake for around 15-30 minutes depending on size and amount of clay used.
Thankyou for your video very helpful, where did you get your tools from? A lot of tools I have seen are very cheap and plasticy.and which one would you recommend and that you use the most?
I’ve honestly gotten away with using paper clips. The thicker the wire, the more stability, but you can use thin wire for more flexibility. Just make sure you use several pieces if it’s thin or bunch it up (like in the video) so it still has structure.
hi! i absolutely love your work and i wanted to try something like this myself. So there goes my question - how much of one bar of fimo clay did it take to make this beautiful face? i want to know if its better to buy already a big chunk of fimo or just one for practicing facial structures
my clay head looks like a goblin
We all have to start somewhere!
Goblins are cool tho
Gotta start somewere
ah same hereXD
@@bubblerose292 that’s very true
Somewhere between a wire ball+ smashing foil and the 2nd layer on the face, a head shape with eye sockets happened. That's the part I'm missing 😂
Yay! This is perfect. Since quarantine started, I've been trying my hand at sculpting, and this tutorial came just in time. Thanks for posting! :)
Thank you. I’m glad you find it helpful! 🥰

Lovely! This clay looks kind of hard to manipulate & blend. Is it stiff?
You are excellent! Well done!
Very beautifully done :-)
