The main reason the switch is becoming lose at control valve is you hydraulic levers are worn out. In video you show them they should be all sitting horizontal and in a straight line. If you replace the lever axle and the bushings in all three levers and fix the sloppy levers your switch won’t get lose
If it’s the 7 series like the one in the video then the mini lever is worn. There a metal spring look like the letter V the tips of the V wear through the plastic tips of the mini lever. So you still have your neutral state but not high speed.
mechanical knowledge sorry I haven’t ran into that problem. I’m not a Forklift mechanic, I’m just a general maintenance mechanic. So I’d have to see the issue to work on it
mechanical knowledge if it’s slow to come down without a load on forks then you’ve got to check the following. Remove all grease from mast channels. Rollers roll not slide. grease shouldn’t be added to mast rollers. Next if it’s new and and paint flaking lightly sand inner mast rails with scotch bright. If your lift is older then your free lift cylinder is bypassing. (Middle cylinder) , if your center cylinder has been resealed someone might of put check valve in base of ram incorrectly which can cause this problem but very doubtful.you can also very easily check your rear cylinder are leaking internal by removing the low pressure hoses at top of cylinder. Max out mast if hydraulic fluid pours out you know there leaking inside. If all 3 cylinders are ok then your control valve under floor is failing.
thanks tom..,actully going for my second interview at EIE toyota HERE IN SA.

Hi. I have the same problem With my electrical Toyota. BUT I do not have these manual knobs, only small electrical… Cannot find the problem.... ??

Also if lever is replaced you have to match the levers in dealership password
