Hey man, I’m 13 and I’ve been playing for about 10 years. It may not seem believable, but God gave me the natural talent of drumming. Just about a year ago I started actually taking drums seriously and I wish I had before. I can’t stress it enough, actually take drums as serious as possible if it’s what you wanna build a career out of, don’t make the mistake I did.
I really respect how you tune and setup your own kit. I'm a drummer too and your character is very inspiring. I enjoy settng up drum rigs and being a friend's drum tech even, heck I do it for free just for the passion of it. Manually tuning your drums, without dials and just by ear. you have my respect mr. Lang. Bless you and more power to you.

The studio gave him a free day of setting up, because he hits several times 20 minutes , because his nature of being a drumbeast wit an overload of energy,hahaha... Go Thomas, good luck with the recordings!!!!!

People keep asking why is he so great, or ask how they can get as good as him and this is how you do it.. Man he took that old saying " it takes a thousand hours of practice to become a professional " and he ran with it. That's why Thomas is such an amazing drummer. He did exactly whatever it took to be a drummer that could work from any angle and not miss a lick. He probably has done a thousand hours on both hands and on both feet knowing him.. Any of you are inspired to become a big name in the drumming world then take it serious and put the countless hours and days and weeks and years into every aspect of the drums like Thomas Lang did. He started a singer and put out an album and when it didnt do well he knew he needed to make a decision on what to do to be relevant in the music industry.. My hat is off and all the respect in the world to.this man. He did exactly what most of us wont do and that's get serious and put the work in.
He actually professes the “10,000 hour rule” and he’s (without doubt) FAR past that goal. There’s plenty of amazing, awesome, ridiculously talented drummers out there. And there is TL the next level in drumming evolution. He seems to defy reality.

Pretty much every drummer - It's why my wife isn't so keen on me setting up the drums at church after a gig - cos I gotta play it a bit to make sure it's set up right ("Where've you been? You left the gig 2 hrs ago!")

This is why drummers have drum techs. They can usually get the kit set up in less than 7 hours!

His technique is so fluid, I don’t think there’s many people in the world as good at anything as Thomas is at drums.
His mastery really humbles a plain old garage band drummer.
