    Can’t you just re-release the TR-09. Like what was the point of discontinuing it? Did it not sell? I don’t care for VTS!

      @Guitarist, why you don’t buy the Behringer RD-9 ?
      It’s even better than the TR-909, I’m very serious.

      Same for 808 & 303. They keep rehashing inferior copies of their legendary instruments when they could have sold millions of the original and kept the legacy intact. Behringer have done more to recreate the trio than Roland ever have.

    Um Korg can rerelease an exact version of ARP 2600 but Roland can’t do this for the 808 or 909… it’s just bizarre now

    Do shadow Layers so The Kick has 909 and 808 so i can blend . So 16 steps as you show and 16 for the 808 maybe shadowed blue or black much more creative to blend and create with. But it all looks good. Well done.

    great Vst ( ps : i have a tr-909 ) however i strangely hate the Tr-09 which doesn't sounds like the original ( i made comparaison between Tr_09 vs 909 ) it has no life and some sounds like handclap sound "crap" ! ACB technology is not ready i guess...but maybe i'm wrong... Excuse me but Behringer did great job instead lol. I also assembled a re-808 like the original tr-808 with all components from the 80's, such as chips, transistors like sc945p etc.. it is possible, so why didn't you release it ? the tr-08 sounds like a toy...you missed the market for sure. Then i don't understand why you don't re-create analog synths like SH-series etc..you miss again the market for sure, sorry i don't want emulated digital toys but real instruments with character

    I'm a big fan of Roland, but can't Roland have a hardware analog department that can come up with small, affordable analog instruments like Korg, Behringer & others? ACB & Zencore are nice, but Roland helped make the original analog / acid sound. 20+ years people have been asking Roland for REAL analog. I CAN NOT BELIEVE ROLAND IGNORES THE REQUESTS OF THE MUSIC INDUSTRY AND CUSTOMERS! Read this clearly: the people WANT REAL ANALOG!
    Thank you for your time!

      It is almost like Stubbornness , we must move on? But they are the masters of the 808 909 just remake it 499 and i would buy . Smooth machines. Keep them the same apart from purple leds on the steps lol.

    • @djkanyon
      @djkanyon 8 місяців тому

      Bro i believe the parts (like capacitors or something) that made Roland analog synths sound special, cannot be produced anymore. You know, the semiconductor level. Listen to last analog synth Roland produced, JDXA. Sounded nothing like original vintage ones coz there was no vintage circuit in it. So probably Roland just dropped the ball.

    • @itrema
      @itrema 8 місяців тому +1

      @@djkanyon it's not capacitors, but transistors. And i can say there is no lack of components at all, for example i rebuilt a tr-808 with chips, transistors etc..Back in the days Roland Company stopped production of Tr-808 because it was a commercial fail, under the excuse of "components no more available ".
      Lack of components is a myth and total bullshit that some people spread on the internet, without checking the avaibility of components in the market

      I will sum it up for you, you buy a machine once or twice... But you can pay for software indefinitely. They can sell the same software to you thirty times by tweeking it here and there, and if the convince you that it is worthwhile paying a subscription they can make money off you for years and not have to manufacture :)
      Nowhere near enough as much profit from actually producing hardware, especially when they have invested so much time in ACB.
      Fortunately we have Behringer. :)

    • @synthetic24
      @synthetic24 8 місяців тому +1

      Analog instruments... it is just all in the mind. Do some blind tests between analog vs ACB, most people (read :ALL) will be wrong. Analog is a hollow concept these days.

    Back when Roland cared about what people wanted and needed, before Behringer come along to actually deliver... The 80s.
    I don't know why i continue to support Roland, i have lost count of the amount of times i have bought in to a line only to see them abandon support.
    Sorry but im not buying in to this sortware subscription scam, when i can just buy an actual analogue hardware recreation.
    If your not prepared to recreate these machines it is a bad look to talk up how much demand there is for them. Especially when you are ignoring that demand.
