There are two things. Quran doesn’t mention women having to be virgins. Neither does it mention that of the man. What if the Muslim MAN who marries a Christian woman is not a virgin. He deserves a chaste woman when he is not chaste himself? No. I don’t think a man who has slept around is deserving of a woman who saved herself. No matter the religion. However, if he is chaste himself, he has every right to find a chaste woman

This is a very good question. It's dangerous for Muslim men to marry a non Muslim women because the children might be affected. It is disappointing to have "chastity" measured in terms of "virginity", especially by such an influential speaker. Chastity is a concept of purity of heart, and a chaste person is one who actively attempts to guard their modesty. But attempts are not always successful; a girl who's lost her virginity due to being a victim of rape should not be considered unchaste. Using the term "virgin" to define chaste women is unfair, as it stigmatizes these victims, the number of whom is ever growing in today's world. Besides, many of our beloved prophet's (saw) wives were not virgins at the time of their marriage to him; defining chaste women as being virgin would be an insult to them.

I was wondering this also because what about divorced women? They are no longer chaste but it is actually sunnah to marry them. With Arabic and the root word system , various definitions can arise from the those roots so I am sure if delved deeper your definition would make sense or else this interpretation would mean Allah swt is saying don’t marry divorced women but it is against the sunnah and logic .
Google says your definition of chastity is wrong and he was talking about non muslim women not muslim women. He was even referring to a verse that said a believing slave woman is better than a pure non muslim woman.

Its based on moon sightng in the area u live rather than what other countries are doing. So u can have a moon sighting in one country because skies are clear and the moon is visibly there or in another country there may be a moon but conditions might not make it easily seen.
But for convenience or unity sake a lot of countries usually follow Saudi.

only the women of the earlier book believed in the coming of the last prophet Rasulullah Muhammad SAW along with the Koran, and the women of the people of the book accepted Islam and believed in Rasulullah as the last prophet and accepted the Koran and the creed.. if they don't accept all of that they are still Christian then A Muslim can't marry her if she remains a disbeliever.. People of the Bible are still infidels. They don't convert to Islam, they don't believe in the Messenger of Allah, they don't believe in the Koran, and they don't read ashadu allah ilaha illa allah wa muhammadun rasoolullah.. that's why the key 🔑 of janna only shahadah and be a muslim

The same criteria could be applied on some muslim girls especially in india, where almost majority of them have boyfriends or experienced such and they send pictures with no clothes on, and go dancing etc. These muslim girls are not chaste either. Criticizing a christian woman is not the solution.. It's really difficult to find a chaste woman irrespective of the religion. I agree that majority of the muslims are better than the non-believers in some way but still..

I believe the idea is to marry someone whose belief is in line with Islam. Weather these non practicing Muslim girls repented in the future or choose to disbelief is none of our business. You don't say, BUT some Muslim girls are like that. Its nothing to do with the conditions of whom Muslim men should Marry. In fact even if a girl is not Chaste, regardless of Religion, once she repented its not up to us to judge her past.

In the 21st century outside of extremely conservative countries bound to Sharia law it feels like meeting these criteria is just impossible as a man. Even in muslim countries that are becoming increasingly more liberal this is hard. And for me living in the States it feels like I'm being asked to walk on water to meet these criteria.

It's Is Better. If Muslim Men Respect Their Parents But As Far As Taking Permission Are Concern For Parents Is Not Compulsory. But It Optional (For Men) And He Should Consider Their Opinion If They Don't Say Anything Which Contradict With Islam. If The Saying Of Parent's Contradict With Islam. The Ruling Is He Can't Accept Or Follow Their Opinion. If Parents Of Some Muslim Say That Marry With Hindu Because She Is Wealthy Then He Not Follow That Ruling Because Marrying With Hindu It Is Forbidden. If Any Muslim Try To Find Happiness In The Happiness Of Their Parents Then It Good Deed. Until It's Not Contradict With The Sh@ria.
