He answered this already in another reply. You just need to skip to the update part using a usb with the newer update.
When I load patch via http nothing downloads. I followed all the steps. What happens if I load patch from file or download patch file ?
quick side note for the safe mode update install: use an official controller, it will NOT work with most 3rd party controllers

No application data found my ps3 is CEX and safe mode it says Error code 8002F2CF
working also for model cech-2504b , I had previously used HEN , after toolset update ı switched cfw, the blank screen problem during game load ended with this CFW. Thanks alot.

Hello. So i've taken a look on your channel and you have very good content. Wish 10 years back Jailbreak was that easy. I was wondering if there is anything i can do to unbrick my slim PS3 without an E3 flasher. The way it bricked was by installing a crappy MFW build i made 9 years ago to make me feel like a hacker / developer. Wish i wasn't so childish back then. Let's assume that i have the nor backup somewhere. Is there anything that can be done? I'd love to play BO2 zombies again. Thank you in advance!

Just realized that, I was trying and nothing, can't be displayed only in ps3, if I open it in my Mac it works, did you think Sony blocked that website so we can't open it in the ps3?

the power up procedure mode (holding the power button for a longer period of time) to enter safe mode does not work reliably on some (slim) models.

idk fs but i messed up my jailbreak like 2 years ago and i got that folder and same problem, i think its for cfw and if it errors sum is wrong but if ur too lazy i'd just avoid using it

I'm at about the 15 min mark where he starts the upload via http bit but mine just stays on the initializing download operations part and doesn't actually load anything.

@@Th3Dave I think it requires soldering something on to your PS3 to flash it. At that point. It's probably easier to just get a new PS3, anyway.
When i go on it. In the debug messages theres a red erorr that says "system time settings check error. Pleaee adjust your systems clock"

I got some trash menus on mw2 and bo1/2 zombies right now. All I want is the elite mossy patch for mw2 again lol something on that level and something to have fun on zombies with.
Bo2: Nightmare menu doesn’t work on transit but does on town, project iconic v3 freezes my game upon loading

If you search, there have been problems with downloading flash memory patch for over 4 years. At the moment, April 2024, it won't download at all. The file should be nofsm_patch_491.bin

Your system would already be patched, so I'm pretty sure you just install the stock firmware first, and then install the CFW over that.

@@raphaelsdias how many hdmi ports do you have ? try in a different port maybe! see if it does the same !? I deep cleaned my ps3 as the fan was way too noisy, and i mean deep cleaned the thing stripped down hoover and re paste the chips, the amount of fluff and junk on the fins of the cooler was gross lol no wonder it was noisy. Just saying it might be getting a little hot ? or your ps3`s video chip is on its way out but you say it only does it on XMB! does it do it on anything else like when playing games etc. To me its the software at fault might be a setting to change something to do with sync or output settings.
