Awesome video bud. Your correct because the voltage is low due to them being LED'S they flash fast, the easy fix is to install a resistor and it will flash back to normal speed. It's a common mod on motorbikes when you install LED turn signals. But I completely agree it looks better without using them. Best wishes from the UK.

@@Horus_Works definitely will do mate, going to start with a rebuild, the starter motor stopped working and the oil pump decided it wanted to be a waterfall instead 😂

They push out some decent light , nice work. Those lower covers in the bumper can be removed and factory lights/indicators installed , they can be bought thru eBay from Thailand , not very expensive, have a look 👍
Thanks for the info - do you mean the fog light inserts in the bumper? I've been wondering about those... are they plug and play?
@@Horus_Works yeah those ones! I connected mine to the indicators, they'll need a splice into the ind wires. I bought the clear lens ones and fitted an amber bulb. Not quite plug n play but simple to do

I saw those lights when I was looking for LEDs for my PD Courier. I was wondering how they performed seeing as though the lenses aren't diffused to direct and spread the light correctly for either a left hand or right hand drive vehicle, obviously right hand drive her in Oz. They certainly are much brighter than the standard headlights, I noticed the light is a bit scattered though. You might get a few people flashing their lights because they're not diffused and they might be a bit glary in oncoming driver's eyes :P
The PD headlights are different to the PC of course, and after much research I opted for the Extreme Plus Gen3 CAN-Bus H4 LED Globes. Although the ute isn't Canbus, these ones with the Canbus adapters actually regulate the power more efficiently. They also had a better warranty. And WOW, what a difference, they're bloody amazing, turning dull yellow light into daylight. LED headlights have come a long way in recent years and it's most definitely a worthwhile investment for good quality ones that's for sure :)

Thanks Andrew - yeah the lights work really well. As for the weather, the kids are learning how to build boats in school as we speak!
A digital flasher unit is the fix for the fast flashed, it runs the same flashing speed for wattages between 10 to 40 watts draw from memory so you can run standard bulbs to LED

@@Horus_Works flasher unit looks identical to a standard one. The one I purchased just had digital on it. Swap and go on my old 1979 E1600 that I swapped the rear lights to LED

The way you wired these so the DRL lights only work when you turn on the headlights or do they power on and off with the ignition?
They DRLs come on with the ignition.
