I upgraded all of the incandescent lights on my Hijet mini truck to LED, including the interior dome light. Once I figured out which LED bulbs I needed, it was a quick and easy upgrade, except for the headlight. The Hijet uses a switched ground system so I needed to install a relay switched wiring harness to convert to the switched +12V system. I still need to install the LED light bar in the front, the two LED lights for the cargo bed, and two more pointed farther back to illuminate the area behind the truck.

The fan noise is normal, you probs wont hear it when the car is on. I can imagine the sound is definitely amplified since youre a foot away from the headlights when sitting in the cabin 😂
Nice work 👏. However, may I suggest that you look into how to adjust your headlights against a stationary surface like a wall or garage door to make sure that you are not blinding other drivers with your new headlights. Your old bulbs cast less light and closer to 360°. You missed the last step. You being able to see better is great for sure. But if it comes at the expense of killing the night vision of everyone else around you... Not so Bueno 😉
I've yet to see LEDs that are actually DOT approved
They're designed for offroad use even though they're marketed as standard headlights
People need to stop using them as regular lights bc it doesn't matter how you adjust them, you are still blinding other drivers
@@raidzeromatt The LED's would have to be made for each vehicle. Putting an LED into a reflector made for something else is never going to work at a fundamental level, hence why you don't see them done well very often at all. I installed a pair. Cost me over $700 to do it right and change the reflector along with the LED bulb and adjusting the whole setup.

I also recommend the Lasfit amber turn signals. It’s insanely bright and does not hyperflash.
I think others were changing a relay for that. Didn't quite understand the situation going on there though.
What lasfit led did you use for the turn signals?
I installed an electronic flasher relay to correct the hyperflash problem when switching to LED turn signals.
I have a 95 Acty. I’m curious which relay you went with?

It should, but I’m not 100% positive. Mines an HA4
