I’m so glad to hear that you’re doing better . You never apologize to us when it comes to your health. The people that come here care about you and we will be here when you can come back 100%. We will keep you in our prayers . ❤❤❤
Isn't is crazy how, through FB, a few thousand folks from around the world can care what happens to one young French woman, whom most of us have never, and will never meet! Thank you, Marie, for your candor and sharing. Get healthy and for God's sake don't worry about your FB friends!!
Marie as someone that has been here from the start. We are here for you. Never apologize for something that is not in your control. Your health is #1. We are not going anywhere. Get better, we need a healthy Marie for the adventures yet to come.
Pancreatis is the worst ! My doctors told me to quit drinking. I replied i don't drink so they said they would send me to rehab ! Omg. Turns out because of an injury at work I took too much ibuprofen for too long . I'll never touch ibuprofen again ! And I now make my drs give me actual pain pills instead of letting them tell me to use tyelenol, ibuprofen or aspirin.
I am praying for you recovery, Marie. All of your fans love you. From your description of symptoms I would have suspected pancreatitis right off. I have had biliary pancreatitis twice, triggered by gall stones that blocked the bile duct through that organ and allowed bacteria from the colon to infect the organ. That's how I recognized the symptoms. I prescribe antibiotics for any infection and mom's loving cooking. Stay away from too much animal fat until you recover, and no sugar or carbs.
I too have had pancreatitis triggered by gallstones. Unfortunately for me I was on the first day of vacation and was in a small town in Florida. I went to a tiny hospital (I got lucky because the waiting room was empty, so I got seen ASAP) and was hoping to get some pain meds and sent on my way. I ended up on Dilaudid to control the pain and shipped off to a larger hospital in Alabama. They put in a stent to relieve the blockage, I’m sure they probably gave me some meds to and the pancreatitis cleared up after a couple days. To top off my vacation I had surgery to get my gallbladder removed. All and all I spent four nights in the hospital. When I got home I had the stent removed and following it I was sick as dog, not sure if I got a bacterial infection from the hospital but fortunately it cleared up after a few days. Not the way I would advise someone to spend their vacation, but in a weird way I was lucky because being admitted to the hospital was cheaper then doing that outpatient. Enough about myself Marie your in my prayers! And I really hope things improve in the coming weeks!
Pancreatitis is one of the most painful diseases there is. Absolutely no alcohol, period. Did they remove your gall bladder? They might have to do a laparoscopic surgery to clean out your pancreas to remove any blockage in it, gallstones, and crud in it.
I am a dietitian in the U.S.and I agree with staying away from fried foods, high fat meats, and process sugar even when you are feeling no pain. When you are having a flare-up, only drink clear liquids until the swelling in your pancreas goes away. I also recommend that you take prescription enzymes like Creon, Zenpep, Pancreaze, Ultresa, Viokace, or Pertzye. They need to contain all 3 classes of enzymes: protease, lipase, amylase. I also recommend have a glucometer (blood sugar monitor) at home since having pancreatitis can increase your risk of developing diabetes. Check your blood sugar once a month to keep an eye on your trends. I'm so sorry for your medical drama and I hope that you can keep traveling. Your videos are so good.
Dear Lady, it was so nice seeing you happily enjoying your trip to America, but I am so sad that you have been feeling so bad. Take care, my beautiful friend, and get better. We really care. You are not a stranger.
Don't worry about finishing the videos. That can wait. If you feel an overwhelming urge, then just do an update like this. Your fans can wait. i can think of several things this might be but it is hardly the time to self diagnose yourself. I don't expect you to put out another video for a few days and make that one short. Take care of yourself first.
I had gallstones (gallbladder) that caused pancreatitis in Easter 2016. Terrible pain over a week. It got so bad I rushed to The VA Medical Center (military veterans hospital 🇺🇸) where the next day they removed the gallbladder (and gallstones). I was on antibiotics for a week and pain killers. I went home after 2 days. It took a month before I was back to normal. I never vomited at any time but the pain was severe before the Endoscopy and removal of the gallbladder. I never had to wait in the ER (emergency room) but was immediately brought up to hospital bed and taken care of. The U.S. Veterans Hospital (serving military veterans and families) saved my life as I had a systemic infection , too Portland Oregon USA 🇺🇸
I’m a gastroenterologist and just wanted to say you did a great job explaining your symptoms in English! I watched the whole episode because I was trying to guess your diagnosis. Get well soon!
I'm no gastroenterologist, but I was also trying to figure it out. My guess was appendicitis and it was scaring me how long she was waiting to go to the ER. Coincidentally, I had a bout of pancreatitis recently, and I did not hesitate to go to the ER once it got bad. It took the ED doc like 5 minutes to diagnose, once he had my lipase levels, which were off the charts, despite the fact that he was alone at midnight dealing with two gunshot cases at the same time. I suspect it is unusual for someone in their 20s to get pancreatitis. But gallstones are not unusual in young women, and I also think the French are famous for getting them. I wonder if the pancreatitis may have been caused by a gall stone blocking the common bile duct. I don't know if she has another video explaining it. Marie, if you read this, do you tell us more in another video?
You poor thing! What a nightmare Pancreatitis is! I'm glad your parents could help you stay out of the hospital. I wish you well and that you never have a recurrence of it, as some people do. God bless you and heal you. Listen to your body and recover quickly.
So very sorry that you are going through this Marie. Pancreatitis is nothing to fool around with. I am glad your mother made you go to the ER. I am also glad you are feeling a little better and continue to recover. Take it easy. We , your fans, understand and will always be here. Do not sacrifice your health by feeling obligated to entertain us. We all love you !
Just started following your trip to the USA vids when I landed on this one. I will pray for your continued recovery and look forward to seeing your videos in the future.
Sweet Marie, So happy that you are feeling better, I hope and pray that your pain goes away and that you make a full recovery.. Many Prayers are being said for you. Rest-up and get better. 😇🤩😊🙃
I'm so glad you're a bit better. Take care of yourself, and don't worry about videos. You have to look after yourself first. I'll say a prayer for you.
I had pancreatitis in 1986 at 26, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes then. It is really rough, take care of yourself. By the why, we wait many hours in Emergency and to get into s hospital room here in the States as well.
I'm with JOJO. It is good to see you doing better. Absolutely no need to apologize for your health. As a protective person, who has dealt with health issues, my own and others, it was torture to listen to your description of symptoms... Pancreatitus! That is very serious! Be very careful and watch this very closely! You can believe that we are all hoping for the best. Take good care of yourself... we will be waiting.
Your health is much more important to your subscribers than a video so you take all the time you need. When your ready we will be here. So glad you are feeling better.
wow, I am sorry about all of that! I am glad you are feeling better. Hopefully it will indeed just go away over time! I would definitely stay in France where you have the Single Payer Healthcare while this is going on. We have excellent doctors here in the USA but of course, it is not free to the consumer under our system. Get well soon....and I hope next time you visit the USA you come out here to Silicon Valley or at least in the San Francisco Bay Area 🙂
Hello Marie. I hope you make a speedy recovery. Pancreatitis can be scary; my father and an uncle died from it (not to worry you because they were much, much older than you). But you are young and healthy and should make a full recovery hopefully. My prayers are with you. ❤
I hope they figure it out soon and you feel better too. It is no fun being sick and less so when you are not sure why. Interesting and unfortunate that doctors in difficult countries sound very similar. Don’t worry about your videos while you are sick. We will still be here when you get to feeling better. Merci beaucoup.
Now, you need to take the time to recover without worrying about your channel... we will be waiting for you and hoping you recover promptly! Prends bien soin de toi, Marie! Prompts rétablissements! Mais ne vas pas trop vite, grand-ma! (Yes, I'm a French Canadian!) ha ha.
I hope you feel better soon Marie. My wife had this problem as well, but it turned out to be a problem with her gall bladder. Once this was diagnosed, treatment was relatively simple and she has not had an episode since. Maybe all the rich USA and Canada food had a delayed reaction for you.
Marie, please, don't push yourself. Take all the time you need to get all better. You are in my prayers and I have confidence that you will be 👍💃💪⛷💯 very soon. Yes, family is the best medicine! Your Moms cooking and your Dad there helping out. We're your family too, and we can🙏🙏🙏. Thats huge. Ok feel better 😘
First minute of the description of the pain and I immediately thought either pancreatitis or gall stones. Both are absolutely excruciating (suffered both), will cause vomiting, and there is no body position or remedy you can do to make the pain go away other than to withstand the waves of pain and contractions. Many women who have had either one say its worse than childbirth. Hope your health improves and things are on the upswing.
A week, a month. Take whatever amount of time you need to get better. FrenchTastic can wait. You are young and live a very healthy lifestyle. I am sure that will help you get back to normal. You have all our love and support. 💗👩⚕️🌞
It seems everyone that is familiar with you loves you Marie, and is praying and wishing for you to get well soon.! You are such a sweet girl.! Best to you.! Oh. And as you get more familiar with English, you sound more American than British or U K.!
As soon as you started describing the symptoms, I automatically thought appendicitis. Either way, sorry you had to go through all this. Good luck with a speedy recovery.
Several years ago my son's girlfriend had pancreatitis and she spent a few days in the hospital. She stayed at our house for a few days to recover before she was ready to go home. I'm glad to hear that you're doing better. REST! Your body needs to have time to recover. Don't feel bad that you aren't doing a lot because your body needs time to heal. I hope that you feel 100% soon 💐
Happy to hear that you are feeling better Mary.. Take it as easy as you can and follow the doctors orders. Hopefully, you'll be back 100 percent very soon. 🌻🌻🌻
I am so sorry that you are so ill. I am glad to hear it is getting a bit better. There is no need to apologise. Focus on yourself getting better. We will be here when you feel more like yourself.
